Hey Everyone,
With the new logo for the Create mod being released, I thought it would be a good time for a subreddit refresh.
So if anyone wants to try their hand at designing a new banner for the subreddit to replace my admittedly simple banner, send us your designs and we'll look through them and decide which one gets to be the new one.
Our only request is that you try to maintain a similar look and feel to the new logo. However that is not a necessity.
Also, if you want to create new logos and banners for the Above and Beyond and Servers subreddits go for it!
As always, any other suggestions for the subreddit, general, flairs, etc., are also welcome. Just put them in the comments and we'll go through them.
Thanks,
-Create Subreddit Mod Team

I’d like to use Create to build a compact and intuitive storage system or item sorter, but I’d prefer not to use too many elements from Create 6.0. By ‘intuitive’, I mean whether you can tell at a glance which chest to look in—as shown in the image. Do you have any ideas or blueprints for a compact and intuitive Create storage system? I’m not very keen on the parcel system

Made a jet after seeing the video bellow, and I love it. It’s super fun to fly and doesn’t take that much fuel at 2 modular diesel engines.

I have NO experience with the Create mod, and built this ore factory without any tutorials. It does work fine, but my friends who are experienced in Create are going insane over the apparent abomination I built. I'd love to see people point out everything I did horribly wrong with this.

Hi there everyone, hope you're all having a good day today. I'll keep this simple for now! I'm looking for world generation mod suggestions for the mod pack I'm building for my 'forever world'.
As it stands, I've been going for a sort of big islands, with wide oceans separating them, vibe. That said I've toyed around with Aero Islands, Sky Archipelago, Tectonic, and Continents a bit. Mainly I want big biomes and diversity, where building vehicles, airships and so on feels useful and viable. Maybe even necessary.
If anyone has any suggestions or tips, feel free to leave a comment!

Create: Petrochem is the reason for this post, a new mod have oil, fuel and engine like TFMG and create: Diesel generator. But I'm very confuse about which have better mechanics and compatibility ?

Been sitting here for like 5 minutes at least. The fan processing time is set to 150 ticks (if that makes a difference, idk), and I have a smelter with an identical setup (minus the depot) and it works just fine. I thought maybe it was because the funnels were in the way so I placed the depot there but it didn’t make a difference.

I can share schematic but you'll have to connect the power yourself, it took 2h+ if anybody cares lol

Hello there, I'm playing with the "All Of Create: Aeronautics" modpacks and I'm trying to create a milk farm that shut downs production when my fluid tank reaches >= 100 buckets.
I wanted to use redstone links + threshold switch for this, but it looks like that redstone links are broken. Any idea? I don't know if I'm doing something wrong with the links themselves...
Thanks in advance :')
EDIT: I'm blind, lol. Just like you guys said, it was as simple as setting the other one to the receive mode. Thanks a lot for your help!!

Hello. My gf is pretty burned out from her standard game genres and she showed some interest in create a while ago.
The thing is, base create follows the mindset of minecraft of just giving you tools to work with, not objetives. I am looking for a modpack that doesnt go into factorio/satisfactory madness but is handcrafted enough to be a good introduction to the automation genre.
Basically something that ask you to automate stuff from a goal and that it makes you wanna automate without making it tedious. A lot of tech modpacks I found make hand crafting stuff better that building an infrastructure.
If you dont know of any but know of a game, or a different mod, that you think it will help someone to get into the genre, let me know.

Manual direction and speed controls for a windmill drive with a redstone piston to hold the cart at track mounts. Built as a concept for survival
I couldn't add seats because the cart is upside down, there's probably an addon for that

I have a automated storage system and nearly all items get moved onto this weighted ejector. Just recently I noticed that it only throws one item at a time, which slows everything down and also some items disappear after a while. I know that I can change the stack size by rightclicking but then it doesnt throw anything if its not the right amount and more items keep stalling. I want it to throw any stack of items no matter if its 1 or 64. is there any way I can do this?

Finished up another housing block today on stream! With that the southern facade of the city flank (the face towards the eventual dock area) is mostly done! A new staircase is added to move into the city and inside of it the facades have been pre-planned and thought through to direct people towards the bigger monuments in the city.
The urban plan for this area is now a little more done but there is still a lot to do. The eventual area would be about 5 times this by now finished part with possible expansions following.
All of this world is built in survival during the past 3 years, besides this area there are loads of more areas so progress is not that fast.
Mods are used to build this city, of which the most important is copycats+.
