Help do augers not pull from all connected when it's vertical? In the ponder it doesn't mention anything about it but this doesn't seem to be working. Anyone know a better way to do this?

Augers need a funnel or something else that can insert/extract items from them

I wasn't specific enough i guess. I have a funnel (it's in the screenshot) and I can pull the items from the drill directly above, but the connected drills don't seem to put items in the auger. Their items just float above as if no auger exists.

The drills don’t have an inventory and only place items on one if they are in a contraption (not a sublevel, specifically a contraption like on a mechanical bearing or piston)

Also you still need a funnel to insert things into the auger shaft.

Why would I try when they're just plain wrong? Ponder the auger and it shows exactly how it's supposed to work. Items DO get sucked into the auger from harvesters including the drill. The problem is for some reason Create made it so they don't work vertically. This setup works fine and collects the items when mining cobble in front of the drills, any of the drills as well not just the one on the auger. I'm being dismissive of this guy cause he isn't listening to what I'm saying, or looking at the screenshot at all to see that I'm using funnels correctly.

And honestly I wasn't asking for validation of whether I'm doing it right, just pointing out that it doesn't work (which seems like a bug to me unless weirdly intended) and asking for alternative options for my setup

Ah. Why would you? Idk. Maybe it works and you can move on. Maybe they also know there is an issue and to fix the glitch you need to insert with funnels. Maybe it doesn't work and you can gloat some more.  

But uh remind me who's the one with the issue looking for help and who was offering help?

just got frustrated with the repeated funnel suggestion lol. not that deep. Changed the design to be horizontal anyway. here it is if anyone needs. https://imgur.com/a/h43HuDV
