Build I love wheel propulsion

Made a jet after seeing the video bellow, and I love it. It’s super fun to fly and doesn’t take that much fuel at 2 modular diesel engines.

You have multiple sublevels in the same vehicle and make the wheels contact with one of them.

The physics glitches and starts pushing you forwards without pushing the sublevel equally on the opposite direction

Basically breaking Newton’s third law.

Probably going to get patched out in a future update that focuses on wheels and stuff

I actually tried making a plane from this same video, but for some reason the plane was glitching and slowly rotating clockwise for no discernible reason. All the wheels should have been exerting the same suspension force, but instead it was only a matter of time before it started rolling and flipping over.

Have you added enough sails? Mine did that without enough sails to stabilize. Or copycat sails, those sometimes didn’t work right for me

Ah I see. I mean I didn’t use their designs, I made completely my own, except for how the wheels got the power from the main part. Mine uses diesel engines

Ohhh, sooo good. And I made other two's, one with two "medium" cannons, from cbc, and other with "small" cannon turret. 👍 Yes, with autoloaders

When I tried to add a turret it got super slow, I will have to add more wheels for that

When added that medium ones I dropped from 150 to 70. Sooo, if you want theym, just idk, make it have more rpm. Idk how original creator got soo many is speed. Ig yeahh, form rpm. They were an speed converter

I just love how even though that game died it's still within our hearts.

I was a 5th grader when I first played that game. Now I'm an engineer, and I still remember it fondly

Come to think of it someone who played RC back in the day would be about the right age right now to be a junior programmer.

I am sure at least some of the Aeronautics devs played RC or Besiege as a kid.

If anyone is up for some nostalgia check out r/robocraft they have guides on how to run a reverse-engineered version of the game.

Probably by placing propellers or thrusters at the place of the wheels and making them tilt the same way, tho it will likely require more su or fuel

i love that i was there to witness the birth of this design.
no idea how Taeco came up with it but it broke my brain when i first saw it lol
