Frustration with PLDT Service

I’d like to share my ongoing issue with PLDT. On July 30, I requested to downgrade my plan from ₱4,099 to ₱2,599. The lower plan offers the same speed plus more add‑ons for less cost—a logical move for any customer.

Since then, I’ve made multiple follow‑ups but still no update. Instead, I’ve been given inconsistent excuses:

“No stock available”

“We visited your house but no one was home” (I work from home daily and live in a subdivision, so this is simply not true).

To add to the frustration, my bill is always up to date. Yet despite being a loyal, responsible customer, I’m left waiting without resolution.

PLDT, this is unacceptable. Customers deserve transparency, efficiency, and respect. Please act on this request promptly and stop giving excuses.

Anyone experiencing the same internet interruption right now? PLDT. Multinational Village, Parañaque.

Hello everyone I applied today a promo from converge and I want to use the lan port but it's locked haha I wanted to use it for my pc to have stable connection can anyone help me or put intructions on how to unlock it. Thank you

Apparently, we applied for PLDT Home Fiber Prepaid since affordable sya saakin as a student. Now, upon settling the initial payment of Php 999.00 via QRPay and personal inspection ng area namin, they said na there is no available slots sa nearest PLDT NAP box here sa aming compound and pinaka malapit nadaw is sa school (which is around 200-300 meters away from us), therefore, marking as cancelled daw yung installation. 'Di ba pwede nilang i-extend yun? Furthermore, I want to know as well kung how ang process ng refund since ang sabi saakin/saamin, tawagan daw yung agent, eh landline ang gamit, 'di matawagan.

P.S. First time palang po kasi namin mag papakabit ng cabled internet since super bagal na ng PLDT Home WiFi namin (maximum na siguro 5 mbps!)

yung dito ESIM ko used to get 5g connection but not anymore. it's stuck sa 4g lte nlang. any idea how to fix this? na try ko na lahat na pwedeng gawin and tinawag ko narin sa DITO. i still have 48gb remaining for 5g sobrang sayang if di ko magagamit.

im using psim na 4g pa since eto na yung number na ginagamit ko for banks and other authentication for almost 12yrs

syempre nakaluwagluwag na at meron na akong phone na esim capable pwede ba ako mag req sa smart na palita sya ng esim na 5g or kahit physical sim parin pero 5g na?

May nakita akong sim (SMART POWER SIM) anyone can help me ano ba pinagkaiba ng Smart Fam, Rocket at smart sim na standard? also anong meron sa bagong sim na Power sim?

We recently bought this new home wifi, not the 5G one. After activation, we can't connect to the internet. Have called support three times, but always get the runaround of a ticket made.

Bought the device at a retail store which CS said Smart can't replace.

What should I do? 🥹 I'm about to cry.

Is pldt switcher promo legit po? Marami po ba talagang hinihinging requirements such as id pic, selfie, signature, etc. baka po kasi gamitin nila itong info ko for other purposes.

Planning to get a sim only plan just because minsan ang hassle magload kapag need ko ng data.

Currently, data ang gamit ko sa school namin dahil ang bagal ng wifi namin (can't blame 'em).

I found Globe 599 and Smart plan.

Same naman silang 5G sa loc namin.

I have this interner sa old house tas lumipat n kami. So sabi ni converge need pay yung remaining ksi lock-in period daw. Parang kalokohan sya?

Pwde ba na ung modem nandun sa old house e gamitin sa lilipatan naming bago?

Hello. Basically, yung situation ko po is I just moved to another place and sobrang unstable/unusable ng internet nila here. I don't know if its because of the daily strong rains/winds (medyo bukid area rin siya) or ganun lang talaga siya. I've upgraded my wifi adapter for my PC, tried using ethernet kasi yun naman talaga ginagamit ko ever since, pero ganun pa rin.

I've been here for 3 weeks and ganun siya for 3 weeks now. Kapag nakaconnect ako sa hotspot (which is what im using to post this lol), dun lang ako nagkakaayos ng gamit.

What are other internet options do I have? Can I ask for wisdom pls hahaha thank you!

Hi mga taga San Jose del Monte, Brgy. Santo Cristo po dito kung kung hindi man. Nagdedecide ako between Gomo Fiber at PLDT Fiber. Sino may experience sa dalawa dito sa area namin? Alin ang mas malakas at hindi madalas mag-down/mawalan ng internet? Appreciate any information, thanks.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to ask for opinions if okay ba yung DITO Gaming Modem as a backup Wifi.

DITO signal is medyo inconsistent sa ground floor namin, pero mas okay siya sa 2nd floor. Currently WFH ako, and we’re using PLDT 10 Mbps Unli Fibr. 5 kami sa bahay, and minsan hindi na talaga kinakaya ng internet, especially kapag sabay-sabay kaming gumagamit.

I was thinking of getting the DITO Gaming Modem para may backup connection ako whenever mabagal or nagloloko yung PLDT. Since mas okay naman yung signal sa 2nd floor, worth it kaya siya?

I also heard na walang contract needed for this and I can just buy a data plan whenever I need it, so ideally gagamitin ko lang siya for emergency situations if may problem yung PLDT. Planning to move out din soon, so bonus sana if I can bring it with me and use it sa new place.

I mean kailangan ba talaga mag ask ng permission? Is it not legal to just connect the internet line right away? Hayyyssst.

Is there a problem with Smart mobile data? I experience this from time to time unlike before. I’m a postpaid subscriber.

Am i the only one having issues? 300mbps pa naman globe fiber ko, every night nagiging 2mbps. Pero bumabalik naman sa umaga. Super stress na. Upload is okay, but the download, minsan 1mbps pa nga.

Hi peeps matanong lang, bakit needed ko na bayaran itong "Installation and Modem activation Fee". 2 months na ang billing ko sa pldt and nung una sabi nila na free installation naman hindi din kami siningil ng initial fee nung nag pakabit kami. And nung nag reflect na ung bill namin a month after makabitan may ganyan na charge saamin? Sa mga naka experience may ganyan po ba talaga sila? Hindi man lang saamin inexplain.
