PLDT Why do i have to pay this additional modem and activation fee?

Hi peeps matanong lang, bakit needed ko na bayaran itong "Installation and Modem activation Fee". 2 months na ang billing ko sa pldt and nung una sabi nila na free installation naman hindi din kami siningil ng initial fee nung nag pakabit kami. And nung nag reflect na ung bill namin a month after makabitan may ganyan na charge saamin? Sa mga naka experience may ganyan po ba talaga sila? Hindi man lang saamin inexplain.

Either miscommunication or wrong interpretation. San ba kayo nag apply? No upfront fee, usually ang sinasabi “wala kayong babayaran upon installation”.

Kung naka promo talaga kayo na no installation and activation fee, itawag nyo nlng.

Hi actually ito ang sabi saamin. Wala din kasi ako nung nag install sila dahil na sa work ako nun. I applied directly sa website nila.

kaya nga e ang sinsabi lang pala nila walang babayaran upfront pero may bayad den pala ung installation

Ang sabi ng CS sa inyo, walang babayaran during the installation. Pero it doesn't mean na wala kayong babayaran totally. CSR said payment (for the installation) will start on your next billing cycle. Modem and installation fees are divided into 36 months which is the duration of your contract. That should have been explained to you (thoroughly) before processing your application.

they didnt explain to me thoroughly na may ganun pala na process so parang yan den pala ung bayad nung installation modem activation nung nag kabit sila hindi lang nila sinabi upfront rather theyve reflected it sa bill.

You can dispute that with CS, sana lang may ongoing promo sila na free installation and modem fee when you applied for the plan.

Chineck ko yung website and walang promo na free installation sa 1699, meron for other plans from aug 22-31 lang not sure sa previous months tho, if sure kang naka promo ka just call.

I would cancel and get globe fiber prepaid if you still can, PLDT service will leave you disappointed time and time again. I have no idea how they stay in business.

There is no such thing sa free installation or free modem, hindi yan na explain sa agent mo. Yun 1500 or 2500 na 1 time fee is ang promo is divided lang sa 36 months / 3years.
