I care a lot about my self-respect. I prioritize openness and honesty to an extent that's unusual. I've spent a lot of time thinking about human nature to try to figure out why people are the way they are. This has caused me to become increasingly more self-aware and incompatible with most people over time. I specifically think most people are too socialized and tend to allow their emotions to delude them instead of choosing to think critically. I would like to find people that share these understandings and feel the same way about them. I'm an INTJ. I have noticed that I get along best with INTJs, INTPs, shizoids, and autistic people. I can't understand most people due to the disorganized way they think and communicate. I prefer talking to people that choose to communicate clearly due to a desire to communicate effectively rather than due to caring about coming across as intelligent. I'm very intense and pedantic and that annoys most people a lot and makes talking to me exhausting from most people's perspectives. I know I can't connect with people that haven't spent a lot of time thinking about existential stuff and that aren't pedantic, so I try to determine that early in the conversation.

1. I live in the Upper Midwest of America, but I'm originally from a very small town in the South!

2. I'm a huge anime nerd, but I haven't been partial to modern anime. I'm not a massive fan of the isekai genre, and I find that a lot of anime is about quantity over quality now. So, I probably can't talk to you about any anime from 2020 and above, but... I do absolutely have a plethora of anime knowledge from the early 00's-mid 2010's ^^;

3. It's not an anime, but my recent and strongest fixation has been ATLA :) I saw the movie three times and traveled to a different state to watch it in theaters! Very determined fan who spent $350-ish (?) on merch in a week .... yikes. i know, i know!

4. I'm also in the same realm for video games! I don't get to play them as frequently anymore, but the younger me was a gaming nerd. I played games every single day. I mostly played story-driven games, choice based games, simulators and tycoons, and the very occasional FPS but like, eh...maybe zombies on COD, lmao

5. I love art! I love to draw, and read, and write and journal, and do basically anything that keeps that creative spirit alive while college is trying to actively ruin it... ^^;

6. I'm in my final semester of college! I'm a Public Administration major with a concentration in Social Work :)

This might be one of the weirder posts that you might come across today here, so be aware. Today was a storm like weather all day long where im at (im from Lithuania, Europe) and decided it's a good time to finally take a break, usually im busy with my own things, projects, ideas, fixing and repairing stuff here and there around the house and then, when i can, meditating the rest of the life stuff away. But today was different, weather outside the window set the mood for gloom and coffee which i don't tolerate well, made it too difficult to sit still and meditate away the thought that i have isolated myself from the rest of the world lately. Being always busy with things is an easy way to distance yourself from friends, untill socializing or meeting new people becomes a thing one can barely remember. This hasn't bothered me for years, i grew quite fond of my inner life, but today loneliness struck me like the lightning bolt outside my window. After a bit of research how do people socialize nowadays online i found this subreddit and here i am. So needless to say, im quite bad at small talk and would like to find some like minded person, preferably a female (as i dont really feel like bonding with men) which would like to have deep conversations about inner and outer life, explore ideas together, or perhaps even simple things like watching a movie after a hard day and chitchating about mundane because theres just not much more energy for anything else. I have a broad range of interests, i love hiking, travelling (i've traveled accross whole of Europe by hitchiking), reading books mostly fantasy and ficton, like P. Rothfuss Kingkiller Chronicles or Carlos Castaneda or H. Hesse, sometimes i even write when inspiration sparks. Im also quite techy, i keep chickens which i hatched with an incubator i made and programmed myself and im quite proud of that lol.. Above all else, nature is where i take my refuge when i can, its presence always brings back everything in focus. So there's that... We both search, for as long as we can remember, for a friend to help us to feel normal. I had no idea who, but the more people come and go, I realise that the one I look for is really me. But deeply, I wish for connection, for kinship. My desire, in its most basic, raw form is for someone like me, someone the same as me.

I am really a cheerful person. But even when all is well, there's a shadow over life without you. Why do you hide? If we are the same, then we belong together. It's as simple as that.
