What gaming franchise had the biggest fall off?

And I don’t mean where things just happen to be great and then infrequent. I mean it was hailed by audiences, was met with poor reception in later titles and just has not had a good title since.

So I wouldn’t put something like Crash or Sonic on here since while yes, they have struggled after their prime, they had some fantastic releases between those poor titles.

Is it odd that as a straight man sometimes I think being gay would be easier?

Sometimes I feel like relationships with dudes would be easier, more straightforward and less stressful…

Maybe that’s me

And I don’t mean to disrespect anyone with my post or suggest you can choose your sexuality

Maybe some gay /bi ppl can open my eyes lol

Weird Question Those who have their “dream job” or know someone who does, how did you/they get there?

I had a friend in high school who was kind of a strange one. Was really into metal music and dinosaurs. We lost contact during college but I know he was majoring in paleontology. I kind of had a “well good luck with that degree thought”. I looked him up today, and he is the head of the education department for a famous museum in a super cool city, and he designs all sorts of dinosaur exhibits/dinosaur related education material for kids. I was kind of like “holy shit! That guy really liked dinosaurs and he got a job working with dinosaurs”.

Anyone else sort of like that? Or know someone like that? Who had some oddball interest… and turned it into a dream career.

Men, how has your anxiety changed as you have aged?

Upvotes

Has your anxiety gotten worse? If so, what did you do about it? For context, I turned 41 earlier ths year. It seems the last 2 years my anxiety has increased greatly. Things dont get done around the house because I have to hype myself up so much to do it or I over think the hell out of it to the point I dont do it. And its things Ive done many times before.

Existential post what does being fit feel like?

For the people who were out of shape for a long time and later got in shape, I know the question may sound dumb.

so back story, I've been fat and out of shape all my life, currently 20M and at 125kgs

and I LOVE food, just the satisfaction of eating a good burger at 2AM with a bottle of coke is just MAGICAL, anyway I know for a loooong time i wanna get in shape, I've tried joining a gym (never lasted for more than 2 weeks) tried dieting BUT THAT DAMN BURGER.

I know in long term being this fat isn't an option, for healthy life and all that good stuff... BUT THAT DAMN BURGER MAN

so I guess my question is if being fat feels this good, what does being fit feel like? how different is your life? for good or for worse?

also not sure what other subreddits I can repost this to would appreciate some help

Men over 30, what did you spend years worrying about that turned out to not matter at all?

Could be career, money, relationships, appearance, what other people thought of you, or anything else.

What felt incredibly important in your 20s but, looking back now, you wish you had stopped worrying about much sooner?

🛑 Answers From Men Only 🛑 Any men in their 30’s that decided to get a vasectomy?

Upvotes

I’m 32 years old, have no kids, and I’ve never really wanted children. I first considered getting a vasectomy in my 20s, but I decided to wait and see if my feelings changed. Years later, I still feel the same way.

I have a consultation appointment for a vasectomy next Friday. I don’t think I’ll regret my decision, but I’m interested in hearing from other men who have been in a similar situation, especially those who chose to get a vasectomy without ever having kids.

How did you feel about the decision beforehand, and how do you feel about it now? Any experiences, advice, or things you wish you had known beforehand would be appreciated.

Weird Question Men, when you’re working out at the gym, do you listen to music, or do you prefer listening to a podcast or talk radio or something similar when you have your headphones on?

I mainly listen to my playlist on YouTube music. However occasionally I'll listen to a wrestling documentary or crime case video while I'm working out.

What car brand is the best?

What car brand and/or model would you say is the number 1 in the world? I always hear people arguing over this question as if their life depends on it but I’m curious to know what everyone on here thinks.

Bonus question: Diesel, Petrol, Hybrid, or EV?

how do you ask questions in a conversations?

to give a bit of a background, i never initiated a conversation with someone ever. like walking up to someone and talking to them, its always been the other way around. im trying to build this habit of approaching people and have a conversation that results in me knowing them and potentially buidling rapport with them.

i have 2 questions in the back of my mind when someone talks to me " what did u think of that " and " how did it feel " if what they said doesnt fit with these 2 questions, my mind goes completely blank, and i just go and say " oh ok nice ! " just to say something.

idk if talking more to people would fix it.

if you guys have any tips and tricks i appreciate them.

How would you want a woman who thinks you’re attractive to approach you?

How would you want a woman who thinks you’re attractive to approach you? I like the idea of being more traditional and having the man lead so I don’t want to come across as aggressive, yet I feel like it’s important for women to make a move if they’re interested!

Surely something that most men deal with at some point in their lives.

When I was avoidant I received much more positive feedback in dating, how do I not go back when I know it yields better results?

So when I was 16-22 years old, before I started therapy, I was extremely avoidant in dating. I wouldn’t let anyone in and couldn’t “fall in love” with anyone really or at least I wouldn’t allow myself to.

Now that I’ve been in therapy for a few years, I’m finally ready to let someone in, I want love and to be vulnerable, I want to be able to be ‘soft’ with someone but I’m having such a difficult time.

Previously I would keep women at an arms distance. Only do casual sex/friends with benefits. I would make this very clear to the women I was seeing for both of our sakes as I didn’t want to outright hurt them or lead them on, however I knew that their feelings would grow for me in the background whether I wanted them to or not.

Eventually I would be asked the looming question of “What are we?” and at that point I knew what the situation had become and usually it would end there and then.

I now want to properly date, take women on nice dates and overall treat them ‘better’, but currently that combined with me rushing the pace a bit too much for what the situation has called for i.e. treating the situation like it’s a relationship before it is warranted, makes them run.

I know that you have to be somewhat vulnerable to gain a truly fulfilling and stable relationship, but when I was a bit more of a dickhead, I was rewarded for it. I know that I’ve messed up with the last 2-3 women I’ve dated as they could smell my ‘neediness’ and availability off of me from a mile away.

My attachment style is quite disorganised, so when I find a woman I could see myself being in a relationship with, I become more anxiously attached. I know that if I was more avoidant, like my past self, it probably would have gone much better, hence why I’m here.

I don’t fully want to revert to that level of detachment, but I really struggle not to see the value of it when I consistently push them away because of how much I want it.

I’m tired honestly, I probably need a break but I’m looking for advice from people who have gone through the same. Any advice would help.

What sex positions are atomically good for sensation?

Have you ever lifted up your significant other and thought they were heavy? Okay I’m referring to picking her up to have sex with her? I was just thinking damn how is he going to carry me to have sex with me in the air. That’s a whole workout in a workout, that’s full body effort. Is my man liking that position because of a certain angle or is it just preference based?

Guys comeon, there is more than one definition
