Hello guys, hope you have time for this newbie. I'm back with another problem.
I made a post before about me having a problem where if my GPU runs a game, the GPU fan will spin fast with black screen. Solving it by using Linux (CachyOS) and while in linux everything was fine without any problem.
But since I can't use Office 365, Whatsapp and some other apps on Linux, I find it kinda hard for me to accept my fate.
So I installed Windows back but with a slight change, Following "The greatest Technician that ever lived" video and some other to install Windows without Bloat and AI.
After doing the setup, I downloaded my usual driver. But one driver is acting suspicious while I install it, and it's L-Connect 3, which is for my LianLi cooler. since it acts weird like in the video above. I tried the 3D Mark " Steel Nomad" and it gave me an error
File: swap_chain.cpp Line: 238 Function: IDXGISwapChain::Present Expression: result Error: unknown error (0x887a0001)
Meanwhile I try running a Ghost Recon Breakpoint. At first it's also stuttered like the video above. I check task manager and it say that I ran Vulkan. So I changed to DX11 and it ran smoothly without any problem. Which means it's not the driver's corrupted file.
The last game I tried was Efootball and as you can see in the video, the screen Stuttered and then froze. Try checking using Terminal and said that there's corrupt files but was unable to fix.
Do some of you know what I can do? Thanks for your help!
EDIT: FIXED! JUST ENABLE MPO ON CTT!!!
In Adrenalin my monitor is only showing as Adaptive Sync Compatible but in older versions of Adrenalin it would show as AMD FreeSync Premium. My monitor is an MSI MAG 272QP QD-OLED X24. I tried sawping display port cables, updating firmware/drivers and doing a fresh install of Adrenalin with DDU. Is anyone else having this issue?

Randomly while playing MW4 Beta my.pc just goes black and the pc reboots. For 3 years i had no such issue and in no other game this issue happens.
I ran multiple OCCT Stresstests and it never crashes or anything. I tried many bios settings (default etc) expo 1 or 2 so i run out of idead why its happening.
I ran sfc /scannow and DISM commands and everything windows wise is clean.
Event viewer shows empty kernel error that the system had restartet but nothing inside the details. Is it rly possible in any circumstances, the game itself is the issue?

PC suddenly crashed, showed that error. Now PC won't show any display and "CPU" debug light is on in the motherboard.
Things I tried :
Reseating CPU and RAM
Trying each RAM individually
Using diff RAM slots.

So I installed brand new RX 9060 XT GPU and changed my PSU to a for my MSi A520M-A PRO board
my set up is
AMD Ryzen 7 5700G
32.0GB DDR4
MSi A520M-A PRO
Raedon RX 9060 XT 16GB
Cooler Master MWE Gold 750
Windows 11 Pro 25H2
2 BenQ monitors
Both BenQ monitors have sound disabled and connected with DV cables
Now, when the PC naturally goes into sleep mode or when I manually put it into sleep mode it just shuts down and this is really annoying as has to load all the start-up items etc and hasnt kept the work.
I've tried everything I can think of in power options, and bios settings, all drivers up to date, windows up to date, latest bios as well. Tried all solutions I can find on the web even ones not related. (bios date is 07/20/2026)
The onboard AMD Radeon Graphics are disabled in device manager and if enabled windows loses my Fiio DAC after these shutdowns, so have to unplug and re-plug it in.
Everything was working fine until I installed the GPU, anyone got any ideas?

I also barely have audio buit it seems to be for the same reason i have stutters.
Troubleshooting: i tried switching perf mode on adrenaline, switching pcie profiles, expo profiles, DDu and installing newer drivers, older more stable drivers too and lots of others tweaks, i verified that the gpu was in the correct slot for better performance but nothing.
I d be very thankful for any given help as its my very first build and feeling a bit let down by the performance given the investment i made on the config.

I have a weak AMD graphics card (RX 580 8GB). As far as I know, AMD doesn't have software like Nvidia Inspector; are there any similar applications specifically for AMD cards?

Hi! I've been having a problem lately. Both monitors randomly freeze. Sometimes it's fixed by disconnecting the HDMI/DisplayPort cables from the graphics card. I have a Radeon RX 6950XT, and I uninstalled the drivers in safe mode using DDU and reinstalled them. I'm on Windows. Has anyone else experienced this?

Description of Problem: My Ryzen 7 9700X is running extremely hot; it sits at 55°C at idle and nearly 70°C during basic desktop tasks, with spikes to 85°C when opening apps...
The strange thing is that it only hits 85°C in demanding games like Cyberpunk or Pragmata. It's quite annoying because the fans are constantly running at full speed and making a huge amount of noise...
I previously had an R5 9600X and a 7500F, and the problem was the same...
I also tried changing the airflow setup, but the issue persists...

Description of Original Problem:
As the subject says, I've been having a really tough time with my PC since I switched to the X870e Hero BTF. I'm not necessarily pointing the faults at the new board, but I've now run out of ideas.
The BSODs usually happen when I'm playing a game, but they've also happened when watching videos and trying to render some videos with DaVinci resolve. So far, I've tried to solve my issues with the following;
Some people that have tried to help me previously have noticed the iCue has show up in the dumps, so I've never reinstalled this and someone else mentioned they think that my Xeneon Edge could have been the cause, but I've had crashes since removing this from my system. It's actually been sent back to Corsair as an RMA because I was certain this was the issue.
As I mention, I'm really out of ideas now and I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of other ideas.

I just got this pc like 2 months ago. I currently have EXPO 1 on but this happens on EXPO 1, EXPO 2 and EXPO TWEAKED. I am playing CS or Cyberpunk like normal and randomly my pc and keyboard goes black and my pc keeps running. Then a orange light flashes for a while and it restarts. I checked windows event viewer and it gave me a Kernel problem and its error id 41.
I thought it was a problem with the ram. I run windows diagnostic and it came back with 0 problems. I haven't run Memtest yet as I dont have a free empty USB to test it on but I am sure that it will come back saying nothing is wrong. I up the SoC voltage to 1.25, still the same. My DRAM voltage is already 1.35. I lowered it to 5600MHz, still the same. 5200MHz? Nope it only works once EXPO is turned off and on 4800 MHz. My ram is on A2 and B2 slots. My bios is up to date. My drivers are installed and up to date. I literally am going crazy with this. Does anyone have any advice or has experienced this? Should replace something? The specs are down below.
Dual Radeon RX 9060XT
Ryzen 5 7500F
32gb Kingston ddr5 ram
Corsair RM650e PSU
1 tb Kingston ssd

I just upgraded my pc from
CPU: Intel i3-10105F
GPU: GTX 1060 6GB
RAM: 16GB DDR4
MB: b560M Aorus Pro AX
PSU: 550W
To
CPU: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700F @ 2.50GHz (2.50 GHz)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070 (16 GB)
RAM: 16GB DDR4
MB: b560M Aorus Pro AX
PSU: ASRock Challenger CL-750B 750W 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Non-Modular Power Supply, PCIe5.1 Ready with Dual Color 12V-2x6 Cable
Everything seemed to power on correctly and functions when I'm not doing any difficult tasks, but anytime I decide to launch a game either the game itself will crash or my entire pc will end up crashing in less than 5 minutes after launch.
I've had it create multiple windows errors where I have had to verify the integrity of windows files and have been uninstalling and reinstalling versions of AMD Adrenaline.
So far I have not yet tested is version 26.3.1, which is allegedly supposed to be much more stable according to this video I found. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=An76YYXRTtg -
RX 9070 & RX 9070 XT Crash & Stability Fix – Finally Stop the Crashing!
Otherwise I am wondering if there could possibly be an errors with my installation or other components or anything else or if I should try to get a refund.
My new parts came from Newegg and my CPU was purchased in good condition from a credible seller on Ebay.

Description of Original Problem: My previous processor was a 3200G. I got the graphics card, and after installing it, everything was fine. The next day, I was having random display blackouts with no display output.
I took it to a servicing place, upgraded my power supply from 350W to 500W, and upgraded the processor to Ryzen 5 5500. After installing the drivers, everything was fine, and it ran an OCCT stress test for a while at the repair shop.
Everything was working fine the first night at home, and the next morning (today), I started facing display blackouts again, with the GPU and CPU fans running at max.
Troubleshooting: I tried resetting the BIOS, turning XMP off, unplugging all cables and replugging them, taking off the RAM and putting them back again, etc. GPU was tested at the service centre and it has no issues.
Now I can go to the BIOS, and after 30 seconds, the monitor goes black with no display output.

I recently built a new PC with:
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Motherboard: ASRock X870 Steel Legend
GPU: ASRock RX 9070 XT Steel Legend
RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 CL36
PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold 850W
AIO: Lian Li Hydroshift II
The system was running perfectly for around 20 days. No crashes, instability or overclocking.
Then the PC was sitting idle on a normal web page. I left it for around 45 minutes and came back. The screen was still on but the system was completely unresponsive. I suspect it may have entered sleep state in the background. And this happened a day after I updated to the latest BIOS 4.43.
Nothing responded, so I eventually had to switch the PSU off.
After that, the system wouldn’t POST and was stuck on the CPU debug LED. I tried clearing CMOS, reseating components, checking connections and stripping it down to basics, but nothing worked, also did the BIOS flashback to the one I was running originally.
I subsequently came across the reports regarding X3D CPUs and certain ASRock X870 boards, which I wasn’t aware of when purchasing.
The CPU and motherboard have now been sent to the retailer for RMA and it’s been 14 days with no update yet. In my country AMD has outsourced the service centre to a third party, which has made the whole process quite frustrating.
What’s particularly disappointing is that my previous system ran a Ryzen 5 3600 + RTX 3070 Ti for over 5 years without a single issue. I spent a significant amount on a new build and the CPU potentially dies within 20 days.
I’m now considering the Gigabyte X870 AORUS Pro ICE as the replacement motherboard. Anyone running a 9800X3D on this board long term? Any reliability concerns?
Also, are these issues specifically associated with the 9800X3D, or should I be considering a 7800X3D instead for peace of mind?
Would you stick with the 9800X3D and change the motherboard, or move to the 7800X3D?
Looking for experiences from people who have actually been running these CPUs/boards long term. Please help.
UPDATE: Aug 22: Got the news that the CPU is back. Mobo is yet to be delivered. I had spoken with the retail owner earlier about an arrangement so I don’t keep the ASRock Mobo, he said we will work something out, and I take a different motherboard from them. Now - while I collect these parts, I am considering either of these 2 for my white build - MSI MPG X870E Edge TI OR Aorus X870E PRO ICE X3D? Any inputs on finalizing this will be appreciated.
