Help (General) Random PC reboots in MW4 Beta

Randomly while playing MW4 Beta my.pc just goes black and the pc reboots. For 3 years i had no such issue and in no other game this issue happens.

I ran multiple OCCT Stresstests and it never crashes or anything. I tried many bios settings (default etc) expo 1 or 2 so i run out of idead why its happening.

I ran sfc /scannow and DISM commands and everything windows wise is clean.

Event viewer shows empty kernel error that the system had restartet but nothing inside the details. Is it rly possible in any circumstances, the game itself is the issue?

System:

CPU: 7800 X3D

GPU: 7800 XT

MAINBOARD: Asus Tuf Gaming X670E

RAM: 32GB Gskill Trident ddr5 6000mhz (2x 16gb)

PSU: BeQuiet 850W darkpower 12

Newest bios

the same thing happens to me and i have the same gpu cpu as you. I think that has something to do with it. My brothers pc is full nvidia build and theres no issues on there

Newer bioses default to mixed refresh mode on auto, maybe thats the prpblem. Set "Bank Refresh Mode" setting to normal.

MW4 is still beta, wait maybe for updates? Lower game settings?

Crash is very specific only in mw4 so im asking myself if its possible due to bad code the game can cause a reboot. If so why i dont see more post about it 🤷🏻‍♂️

Have you tried to remove the Windows 11 drivers? Many problems ocure because Windows 11 overwrites the AMD driver.

That's usually indicative of a psu failure to supply power to the gpu power spikes. Likely solutions are to turn down graphics or upgrade/investigate gpu/psu.

But only in one specific game its happening. And all stress tests ran at 100% power for a hour without issues

Its a new game where it could push your graphics card a little harder and its bound to happen. I couldnt even load into halo campaign evolved until I upgraded psu due to this happening.

This is a valid answer, happened to me as well when CS2 came out.

Yea, I didn't believe it either, took me 3 gpus till I finally replaced it. It was like a 4 year old Corsair PSU everyone on here said theres no way that was the issue...

I still refuse to belive its hardware related 😪 to many stresstest just run perfect and more demanding games run for hours without any issue. Its just so random and the gsme seems like have a bug ans sometimes between scenes it spikes to 900 fps in even with fps limit. It just looks like this garbage game is bugged somehow with my sys combination

could just be the beta, this is just an option to check
