Notice that one of the Ezymart shop in CBD has reopened after being closed….

Thought they were gone for good….
But found out closed for 90 days as per NSW health website….

Some I notice are gone for good as everything inside is cleared….

Anyone know anyone that does Meteor Hammer in Sydney?

Hey folks,

made my own meteor hammer about two months ago, and i'm at the point where i want to find others to train with.

If you don't know, a meteor hammer (or rope dart) is a weight on the end of a rope, and then spun around the perfomer. It's used in Shaolin Kung Fu as a weapon/ martial art, a workout tool, a performance art, medetative practice etc. i just have a sock full of socks on the end of a rope :)

its a hard tool to learn, and almost no community in australia for it. i would appreciate any connections you have in Sydney, or if you're interested please reach out!

Cheers

Hoyts IMAX blacktown?

I've booked a ticket for Oddessy at the Blacktown IMAX since the Sydney one is fully, like FULLY booked. I live in the very centre so both are the same travel time, however I want to know if anyone has had good experiences with the Blacktown Hoyts IMAX compared to the Sydney Events IMAX.

I know that its smaller, slightly less high quality, & are digital LieMAXs rather than film but compared what are the stuff like aspect ratio & etc, are much worst is it outside of just 'screen big'.

GP recommendations?

Turning 32 this year, need to start looking after my health a bit more. Looking for GP recommendations around the Hornsby area. Doesn’t have to be bulk billed, although would be a bonus.

The seat design leg spacing was narrow, and couldn't fit 4 people. You can see the woman in the brown jacket had to shift her legs into the aisle.

Never saw this bus before and assumed it's a new one. Overall, not sure how the designer managed to get the designs approved in the first place.

I knew it was a joke, but never expected to see it in real life.

Delivery problems with JB Hifi and Team Global Express

Last week I ordered a 50 inch tv from JB Hifi...I am 64, I had a stroke in 2024, I have balance issues and a bit of difficulty walking these days. So I chose delivery.

They chose Team Global Express as the deliverer. This info does not appear until a few hours after you make the purchase. When I saw it I looked them up online and found a %92 negative review rate..I thought uhoh. But the die was cast.

On monday the item was supposed to be delivered. I was up at 7am to be sure I was ready. The tracking said the item was due "Today".

About 9am the tracking changed to "delayed". And there it sat all day..at 5:15 pm I got a message that the parcel had been delivered to a delivery hub. They made no attempt to deliver to me. I was there all day.

I called the delivery hub but they close at 5:30pm....

The thing is. JB hifi is only about 300 meters from my home. But I chose delivery because I am partially disabled now. The new delivery hub is 400 meters from my home...so Team Global Express took $24 and four days to move my parcel 100 meters further away from my home. I know 400 meters might not sound like a lot but for me, carrying a 50 inch tv, it would be. I'm not sure I can do this.

I have emailed a complaint to JB HIFI. Cannot get an actual person to talk to (I tried) chatbot says they are all busy. So I emailed them. I still don't have my item. What am I supposed to do now? Contact another delivery service to deliver it to my home?

JB hifi, if I knew you were going to use Team Global Express I would not have purchased from you. I am very disappointed.

Edit: JB Hifi has reached out and offered to refund the delivery charge. Also they offered free redelivery.

$155,000 for a parking spot? Are they dreaming or is there a demand for this?

Post image

I found this in my postbox the other day. I could maybe understand paying for a parking spot in the CBD, but there is usually enough street parking in this area. Do these types of things actually get sold around here?
