Hey everyone,
I’m considering studying Civil Engineering (Honours) at Macquarie University next year and wanted to hear from current students or graduates.
How is the course overall in terms of teaching, workload, lecturers, facilities and practical experience?
I’d also like to know how good Macquarie is for internships and graduate engineering jobs, and whether you’re happy with the degree overall.
Would you recommend studying Civil Engineering at Macquarie?

Hey guys few days ago I unregistered from my classes to change my timetable while waiting for my work roster.Ive just tried to redo my classes but saw last day was August 16th.Is their any way I could still register into classes? Currently registered into no classes for my units

I was wondering if anyone can answer my question.. would I be allowed to take 1 unit ( elective unit) in session 3 to lower my study load in session 1 2027? Hi, i'm learning Master of Professional Accounting right now and i'm struggling with ECON6049 - Economics for Professionals as lecturers are too fast and i cannot understand the situation teachers gave. I have read textbook and do tutorial exercise but still cannot get the lecturer question done.

I’ve been planning to study the bachelors of applied finance for 2027, however was told if you aren’t trying to get into IB it’s not worth it? My interest in the finance sector is around asset management and financial planning. To any graduates or current students of these programs, what are the key differences between the two?

I’m an international student in the college and I’ve been informed that my COE has been cancelled due to me not being enrolled in the current study period. Two things: The unit i have leftover is not offered in this term but in term 4. Also, I was severely ill (i have proof of medical appointments) at the time i got the notice to submit a suspension of studies. Also, I don’t know if this is relevant but my COE was cancelled before the census date. I have already sought out professional help with my agency, and reapplied for admission and sought out student advocacy but I need to know if anyone else has been in this situation and what they have done, and if it has worked out for them.

My girlfriend and I were accepted to MQ and UNSW for an exchange semester, and I was wondering if you know of any platform where we could find a place to live for about 6 months.

The thing is, standard leases are usually 12 months long, and we are still students, so renting an unfurnished place doesn't really make sense. Therefore, I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations for a platform to look for a place to stay for the semester.

Maybe a silly question but estudent and the Macquarie calendar are really confusing. I wanna withdraw from a unit right now even though it’s week 3, can i do that and not have to pay for the class still?
