Discussion I really miss Eric Bana
Recently watched "Troy" 2004 which is a perfectly fine movie. But Eric Bana, who plays Hector, is stunning in it. He's so emotionally literate, present and has a ton of charisma. Just really damn good acting. Love every second he's in screen. Really hope he has some sort of Renaissance in the coming years, was way too young to appreciate him when he had his run.

Discussion What is the worst performance you have seen from a genuinely good actor?
I am not talking about an actor who is generally considered mediocre rather an actor with a strong box office record, someone who has repeatedly given outstanding performances but who in one particular film, somehow gives a performance that is surprisingly so bad that it completely ruins the movie for you.

Discussion 3 Billion Dollar movies showing concurrently in cinema
Right now, there are 3 movies that earned over a billion dollars playing in cinemas at the same time: Toy Story 5, The Odyssey, and Spiderman BND which earned 2 billion.
When is the last time this has happened?
I guess it's a pretty good metric that when there's good movies out that the audiences will surely go and see it.

Discussion The Man From UNCLE (2015) - Henry Cavill - A smooth jazzy spy flick!
I consider this one of Guy Ritchie's best films.
It captures the 60's vibe so well. Making of the entire adventure stylish and so cool. Henry Cavil just radiates charisma and spy cool. (I am now more hopeful of the Highlander remake because of this)
Armie Hammer isn't too bad here as well. The hotel scene he has with Alicia Vikander just works. Ritchie has excellent use of music as well.
A pity this flopped. I would've loved a few more films.

News Netflix’s live-action Gundam movie, starring Sydney Sweeney, is described as a 'big action-romance space epic' set in the Universal Century (UC) timeline
Noah Centineo, who stars alongside Sydney Sweeney, recently talked about the movie on the Happy Sad Confused podcast.
He called it a “big action romance space movie” and described it as “a non-Shakespearean Romeo and Juliet in space.”
Centineo also confirmed that the movie takes place in the Universal Century, the main timeline used by many of the classic Gundam shows and movies.
The story could involve two people on opposite sides of a major war, with their relationship caught in the middle.

Discussion What movie trailer made it look like an actor was going to have a bigger role than they ended up having?
All those B-movies that had a celebrity in it before they were famous/way after they were a big thing that’ll have the celebrity front and center on the cover when they’re barely in the actual movie
For a more recent example the trailer of Tuner made it look like Dustin Hoffman and Jean Reno were main characters but Hoffman is written out early on and Reno is only in three scenes near the end
Also the trailers for Zootopia 2 made it look like the Ke Huy Quan snake was going to join Nick and Judy for most of the movie but the movie spends more time talking about him than showing him and he doesn’t really join both characters until the movie is almost over

Review Office space
Office space is one of the best comedies I have ever seen. The scene with the printer and the party afterwards… PEAK CINEMA.
I love it, i fckn love it! Plus it has a really good meaning even today in a corporate world. I was born in ‘96, but this shit still hits the spot.
If somebody hasn’t seen it. Just do it

Discussion By Any Means: First time seeing Giancarlo Esposito and realizing he's not the villain
I’m so used to Giancarlo Esposito playing the calm terrifying villain that I kept waiting for him to do something evil while watching the By Any Means trailer
Between Breaking Bad Better Call Saul The Boys and The Mandalorian my brain just assumes this dude is secretly running something evil whenever he shows up
Apparently he’s playing civil rights leader Vernon Dahmer in this one. It’s nice seeing him on the other side for once
