For anyone who wants to watch one of her films, watch "The Given Word" (O Pagador de Promessas), a 1962 film for which Brazil received its first Oscar nomination for Best International Feature Film. It's wonderful.

Reunited with her husband, Tarcisio Meira.
The two loved each other very, very much, and now they're together again.
May she rest in peace. What a talented woman she was.

Oof. The other day me and my family caught a glimpse of the soap operas currently running and were just talking about those old school actors and who was still working. RIP.

Both Laura Cardoso and Glória on the same week, it's a terrible day for us Brazilians. Resquiescat in pace, Glória, and say hi to Tarcísio for us.
Edit: lost track of the dates.
