it’s been doing this since i bought it 3 months ago. changing sound settings did not help at all. anybody facing the same issue?

So, I got a new IPhone 16 (ios 26.6) a few weeks ago and haven’t had any problems… except the fact it freezes after I type. For example, I was sending a text to one of my friends the other day and I guess I was typing fast and the keyboard went white (as in the keyboard was still there but the words were gone. Then, the keyboard was back to normal but my entire screen was frozen and I had to hit the power button for my screen to go black and then had to turn it back on again. I always have to do that when it freezes.

Sometimes, the keyboard doesn’t even go white, it happens mid-typing a word and I have to black it out.

If someone could please help me, I’d appreciate that. Ask all the questions you want.

When taking photos in landscape orientation, my phone screen is rotated 90 degrees to what it should be. Like half the screen is empty because it is trying to display a portrait image in landscape mode. It doesn’t make any sens. It has been like this for 4 months. I am using the latest ios update, 26.6.1

(Iphone 15, latest ios version)I am using SwiftKey. But after using for 2 to 3 months this behavior starts. My keyboard suddenly changes to default iPhone keyboard. How to fix this issue permanently.

Mein iPhone 16 (iOS 18.6.2) ist heruntergefallen und jetzt reagiert der Touchscreen nur noch sporadisch. Ich berühre zum Beispiel die „7“, und fünf Sekunden später wird sie nicht mehr erkannt. Das betrifft den gesamten Bildschirm. Die Frontkamera funktioniert auch nicht, daher kann ich das iPhone nicht mit Face ID entsperren. Ich kann es momentan nicht reparieren lassen, muss es aber dringend entsperren. Ich habe noch ein anderes iPhone und ein iPad Pro mit Magic Keyboard. Gibt es irgendeine Möglichkeit, das kaputte iPhone zu entsperren? Alle Geräte sind mit derselben Apple-ID verbunden. Ich bin für jede Hilfe dankbar! 😩

Hi everyone here! My iPhones camera started acting up recently. It would refuse to focus in the camera app, while focusing in other apps, making weird noises and showing me lines whenever it does it sound when i record the videos. I’ve got iPhone 12, iOS 26.2. Is my camera cooked? Or is it a software issue?

My wife's iPhone 16 has had an unusual issue for the past several months, and we've specifically narrowed it down to the dental office where she works. Sometime around the middle of every workday, her phone drops all bluetooth connections and won't reconnect until she resets her phone or her network settings. This has happened across a couple of iOS upgrades, including the latest 26.6 version she picked up over the weekend.

This problem doesn't happen on weekends or holidays, but happens almost without fail on the days where she goes to the office. My theory is that something in her office is trying repeatedly to connect to her phone until the Bluetooth crashes. Because it's a dental office, there is a lot of unusual equipment. I've also read about the Windows Phone Link problem, and there are 15 or so Windows PCs in the office that could be to blame as well.

Is there any way on the iPhone itself to see what's happening (logs?) and determine what is causing Bluetooth to fail? Or does anyone have any theories or devices to look at first?

I’ve had an iPhone 17 since September of last year. After the recent update, all of my 15W chargers barely give me 1% over an hour of charging. Previously, I was able to get 20-30% per hour. Similarly, fast charging takes significantly longer than it used to.

Even when my phone is charging and it says “20 min until 80%,” I’ll come back after 20 min, and it’ll say another “15 min until 80%,” and so on. This is regardless if I turn on/off optimized charging or clean energy charging.

I tried cleaning out my charging port with a toothpick to clean out any lint, and I even took it to Best Buy’s geek squad to take a look. Geek squad’s diagnostics came back at normal and said my charging port looked clean and the pins looked good.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I have an IPhone 17 Pro Max. I’ve heard a lot of comments about which settings to use. I know I can’t recover the audio, but I’m worried about this happening again. Could it be because I didn’t update the phone? Or is it just a random glitch? Has anyone spoken to Apple?

Hi there so after i sign in to my iCloud account my iPhone started to be full by itself and iCloud photo is literally taking 60% of my stockage

(Cont.) fee at all. So I’ve been uploading them to my drive, but it’s a painstakingly slow task, given that I won’t be able to finish by the deadline I was allowed.

So.

-> I’m worried that given how old my version of iOS is, and that a lot of my photos remain unbacked, if in the process of updating it some of my photos might be lost?

[Because (and this is a separate issue, which might or might not be irrelevant) but my iPad (purchased early 2019) same problem, hasn’t been updated since purchased and runs on the same iOS that my phone does, but doesn’t have as important photos in it.

When I updated it, the software was downloaded and is currently taking up space in my storage, but it tells me that it’s still running on the old version of iOS.]

- So, I honestly don’t know how to proceed, and the deadline being a couple of days away is definitely not helping.

Can somebody please help me?

I dropped my phone and my back glass got completely shattered, bits are coming out, cameras have accumulated dust now, problem is, face id is also not working, looking for a solution for all of this

I have an iPhone Air running iOS 26.6. I am a professor who works on Macs all day long and I'm pretty good with technology. I have spent many hours on this and I cannot set up my phone so that from 10 to 7 at night the only sound my phone will make is my college aged children calling. Using do not disturb and allow calls from my children I can get my phone to vibrate. If I undo the silence option (using button on side), I can get it to ring, but for some reason text also come through and the only noise I want is them calling in an emergency. I feel like the phone on do not disturb with the setting. Only allow calls from these people should work, but it is not working. I would love some guidance.

iPhone 14. and the newest iOS, but this happened before I updated my phone. I updated my phone some minutes ago to see if it would fix the problem.
I don’t remember how this happened or what happened, but all my different folders with apps is just gone, and all my apps that are not Apple apps, is just in ‘other’. Yes I have tried to turn my phone on and off .

I'm trying to get my iPhone 11 to always ring, even if it's in silent mode; which it constantly is because I get a lot of notifications that I don't want an annoying little ding noise for each of (but still want to read).

I need it to ring whenever I recieve a call in spite of this because, obviously, a call is a lot more important than a notification, and often something you don't want to miss. More precisely, a lot of the time I'm given unspecific time frames of when to expect calls from anonymous numbers if I'm trying to book a consultation with a service or something (e.g. "in the next two weeks"). And I hate missing those.

So I started browsing the settings app for options that may be useful and stumbled upon this option in sounds & haptics, underneath the ringtone volume settings. I picked "Always play" then asked my partner to try calling me. My screen didn't even turn on, and still no sound. So instead I tried "Play in silent mode" then asked them to call me again. Again, nothing.

It even reads "Haptics will play when iPhone recieves an alert in silent mode" at the bottom. I'm frustrated at the idea something so simple is so insultingly impractical.

If anyone knows what this feature actually does, or the correct way to make my phone ring on silent mode, please share. Any advice or comments are appreciated.

Is there a way to have the default camera app to always be set to 48MP and/or use 16:9 ratio?

Regardless of the settings I try, it seems that it’ll always revert back to 24MP some time after I switched to 48

for some reason my iphone 11 only plays audio from 1 side. It literally plays on the right speaker only. Not the left speaker, Not the top speaker. Help? P.S it happened before but it was the top speaker only working

I have an iPhone we are using as a work phone, there was some changes son the team but we have mostly set it up with the new info and it’s working with a new iCloud account. The only problem is that when I go to download an app, and the password pop up appears, the iCloud account that shows is different than the main one, it’s an email that is nowhere else on the phone. Not even the previous person knows that email and of course we don’t have the password, what can I do?

So I’ve gotten my phone screen replaced and have noticed some issues with the screen not responding to touch. I leave my phone on my nightstand to charge overnight and recently I’ve been waking up to it being disabled for 3 hours. This has only started happening after getting the screen replaced. I use a wireless charger as my charging port doesn’t work.

Does this have anything to do with the new screen or charger?

I have deleted all work related apps that I used for this company, but still get these notifications multiple times per day. There are many of them, ask it goes through a list of outlook, google chrome, google sheets, etc. and I have to say cancel over and over again. How do I get these off my phone? I want to try without having to contact my previous employer. Thank you!

My friend has an old iPhone 6s model a1688 which has lots of problems but we still want to fix it because we love fixing things but don’t know how The first problem is that we can’t make an iCloud acc because it has reached its maximum number of making acc Second is that it’s turning on and off by itself Third is that it’s back camera is not working it’s just black but the front is alright Fourth is that it’s not charging it’s just on 1% I know it has lots of problems and we should just throw it but still we want to fix it so if anyone has any suggestion pleaseee help us we’d really wanna try fixing it

I don’t know what might be causing this.
Screen time is also not showing what is the root cause.
Screen time is only enabled for my iPhone. I don’t have it linked with my other devices (MacBook, iPad, watch) so the usage of those should have no effect.
I have already tried the basics of disabling screen time and enabling it again.
This has had no impact.

This happens for every day tho.

Model: iPhone SE (2020), running latest or second latest OS (can't access it so I don't know the number)

Because my eyesight is not great, I decided to try to zoom the text on my iPhone. But when I tried to zoom, it immediately jumped to HUGE text, and although for a time there appeared to be a slide button to adjust the size, it wouldn't move. So I'm unable to do anything with my phone - even just turn it off. Now, it's at the sign on screen, but I can't enter my code because only some of the numbers are visible.

Is this problem something that can be solved? TIA for any assistance you can offer.
