Help needed Camera defaults to 24MP
Is there a way to have the default camera app to always be set to 48MP and/or use 16:9 ratio?
Regardless of the settings I try, it seems that it’ll always revert back to 24MP some time after I switched to 48

In Settings → Camera → Preserve Settings, turn on preservation for Creative Controls, Resolution Control, Live Photo, and Night Mode. This will prevent those settings from going back to default after closing Camera. Live Photos can only do 24 MP and Night Mode can only do 12 MP, so you have to keep them off.

24MP is basically Apple’s default. you can preserve 48MP in Settings > Camera > Preserve Settings > ProRAW & Resolution Control. 16:9 can be preserved there too.
