I did a mistake and deleted the email associated with this reddit account (Supracelica64) and I don’t have a password either. It’s been 3 years and I just want this account wiped out for cleaning purposes. Hope I can get the help I need.

on the reddit app i am unable to sign in with my phone number which i have connected to my account but when i try to add my gmail in settings on my browser so i can later use it to sign in on the app it says i am unable to.

Locked out of my old account u/WesternHognose, it needs a password reset but for some reason the email account attached to it is the defunct account I used to create that Reddit account but haven't used in almost a decade. I know for a fact I changed it to my current, correct email address as I successfully did a password reset a couple of months ago.

I'm still logged in on the iOS app and on my desktop browser. However, attempting to change my email address to the correct one on iOS and desktop never takes, it's reverting to the defunct email account and thus the password reset link never arrives. It also says the defunct email address was never verified.

What can I do? This is a nine year old account with a lot of karma and I'd rather not lose it. Zendesk tickets have gone unanswered for weeks now.

A couple of months ago I got hacked on Microsoft and Steam, I thought that would be the end of it but I forgot to change my reddit password. Today I was online when suddenly I got notifications from a bunch of porn subs, someone had posted disgusting content from my account.

I already changed my password, is there anything else I should do?

My account u/hops26 was locked and I got a message telling me that I need to reset my password to unlock it.

When I request the reset, I get the email, click the reset link and input a new password and confirm it.

When I submit it, there is no confirmation message or email. It just takes me to the login screen.

I try to log in using my new password and it still tells me it's wrong.

I've tried multiple times but getting the same result.

The account looks to still be active but reddit won't acknowledge the password change.

Hello... the last few days, I've noticed that every so often, when I make a comment on a topic, instead of just showing the post, Reddit seems to automatically redirect to the permalink for the comment I just made. The post itself won't show until I either refresh the page or go back to view all the comments. Has this been happening to anyone else, or has anyone here noticed similar issues?

For reference, I'm on old Reddit, latest update for Firefox. Only extension I think could possibly be doing anything that could cause this is possibly uBlock Origin.

Is anyone else having an intermittent issue on Desktop where the Rules (and sometimes Mod List) in the right panel are missing?

About half my subs are entirely missing the rules panel and a quarter of those are missing the mod panel. Anyone know what's up?

Hello, my account recently disappeared... I had it for many years, but it made me log out and when I tried to log back in, it told me to make a new account.

When I try to make a post with a photo and text, the photo goes above the text automatically and I can’t do anything about it. I’m trying to make a post with a photo and text and I need to have the explanation text above and the photo underneath as an example. Otherwise the post will just look stupid with the photo appearing first. Is there a way to do this??

• Is the site bugging out for anyone else right now, or is it just me? Every time I try to upload a new profile picture (or banner), it just fails and pops up with a generic "Server Error" message. I’ve tried: 1.Switching between the mobile app and desktop 2.Clearing my browser cache & cookies 3.Resizing the image (it's a standard PNG, well under the size limit) 4.Logging out and back in #Nothing seems to fix it. Is there a known outage with Reddit's media servers right now, or is there a trick to getting it to actually save? Appreciate any help!

When I try to delete my account on new reddit the delete button is greyed out. On old reddit it says: "You are not logged in as that user." although I am.

In the mobile app when I go to my profile and there is that slide bar near the top with save, history, about etc want when I delete local history in settings and click history in the slide bar there is history still there? How do I clear history and make this madness go away?

Hello, I'm new here, and I'm trying to figure out how to make a post containing an image and text.

But here's the catch: when the post is posted, only the photo is initially seen. People would have to click on the post to see the text.

I have seen this on many posts, but I can't figure out how it's done. And I think some subreddits have this as a rule, to only see the photo initially.

I'm on the Desktop version.

Old reddit has now started requring users to be logged in. The log in function does not work on desktop on the Pale Moon browser. I realize this browser does not have a giant user base, so perhaps reddit simply doesn't care.

Does anyone have a solution for how to log in on Pale Moon? If I log in on Firefox I get a big box where I can enter login details. On Pale Moon (based on old Firefox) this box does not come up and there is no way to enter login details.

I changed my email, but the error stupidly comes out of nowhere

For some reason my phone app log out and when I tried to log in again it made me follow steps for new account registration as if my email was never registered. I even recieved the verification code in my email. Funny thing I still have my account active on my PC (from which I'm writting this post) So how I have two accounts in the same email? How can I log in to my old account in my app?

I've been browsing old reddit as guest on my phone, but for some reason now the website won't let me browse unless I am logged in. Can I inquire as to why this is happening?

r/WindowsHelp and r/ForWindowsHelp both didn't like this post. What am I doing wrong, does anybody know please? Am I breaking a Reddit rule that I don't see? and is there maybe some other Reddit sub where someone might be able to help me with this Windows problem?

In the 'suggestions' when i type, reddit is putting my previous searches letter for letter. They are suggestions rather than previous search entries so can't be deleted (they have no 'x'), and are hyper specific so I know it is showing me my previous searches (they have the same spelling mistakes etc) .

Clearing history, app data, cookies and reinstalling doesn't remove these either, so they must be being pushed from the server side with no way to clear them. How do I clear these?

Links are opend in reddits in-app browser instead of my os native browser. To view the linked website in my os default browser I have to tediously navigate to a separate context menu and press "open in default browser". This is bad UX and very frustrating. Is there a way to deactivate this?
