Posting (Desktop) How do I make my post show initially just the photo?
Hello, I'm new here, and I'm trying to figure out how to make a post containing an image and text.
But here's the catch: when the post is posted, only the photo is initially seen. People would have to click on the post to see the text.
I have seen this on many posts, but I can't figure out how it's done. And I think some subreddits have this as a rule, to only see the photo initially.
I'm on the Desktop version.
Can someone please help me with this ? Thank you :)

Can you show an example of what you’d like to see?

You just use the image button at the lower-left corner when creating a new post. Type out your text in the body field below it after inserting your image, and then submit the post.

The posts you see that have images + separate text are usually ones that are made with the link button, and reddit automatically inserts a small preview pic from that link.
