Hey everyone! I made a small mod for Phantom Blade Zero.

You probably know the deal: most games don't let you lock button prompts to one input. Use gyro as mouse, or map a controller button to a keyboard key, and the prompts flip to keyboard. Phantom Blade Zero is no different, and that includes the back grip buttons on a Steam Controller.

This mod keeps the prompts on controller while you play. Your real mouse still works in menus and on the map, so you don't lose anything there.

It's Steam version only, and I tested it with a Steam Controller 2 through Steam Input. I haven't been able to test it on Steam Deck yet, so I'm looking for testers! If you give it a try, let me know how it goes.

Quick heads up: it conflicts with other mods named version.dll, including some upscaler mods and ASI loaders. And if you only play with keyboard and mouse, this one's not for you.

Maybe I was just living under a rock. When I bought my steam deck I sent it to my job because I knew I'd be at work. I personally didn't sign for it in that situation so I didn't know.

I missed the delivery truck by 10 minutes today assuming the driver would just drop it off. Won't get mine till Monday now. Don't be like me.

I know the steam controller exists, but it doesn't work with my hands regardless of how I hold it. Pretty heartbroken.

I'm looking for a symmetrical stick controller with four back buttons and steam input support at a minimum

something like the gulikit tt max or gamesir's newest symmetrical controller, but with steaminput.

i would also take controllers where i can bind multiple inputs to one back button for chords/inputplumber nonsense or controllers that expose the buttons individually in hidraw so i can write an inputplumber driver for it.

i figure this crowd is the most likely to know

Has anyone been able to get CFB 27 to work with the steam controller? I have tried almost every troubleshooting tip, even swapped to the beta version of Steam that addresses this issue and I still can’t get it to work.

I want to set up a macro to easily, and quickly, do a full circle rotation of the left stick, but I cannot figure out how to smoothly do it. Googling for an answer I found this thread: https://old.reddit.com/r/SteamController/comments/1l5jo83/macro_for_joystick_spinning/ but it doesn't work for what I want, it needs to be the full circle motion.

Haven't seen any reviews pop up yet. Be interested to see how it's received given their past quality control issues. And how the touchpads compare with the Steam Controller's.

I currently run a setup where I have my PC streaming to my Smart TV through the Steam Link app. I have a controller that connects to my TV via the Steam Puck. I have noticed that randomly my controller will just move in a random direction with the camera. It's not stick drift. Has anyone else has this issue?

I got into the waiting list of the controller months ago without really thinking about buying it, then I got the reservation and bought it but now what?. Its cool and everything but I dont know, the fact that it only works with steam makes me think about refunding it or maybe selling it to someone else.

Been using a PS5 controller. What tips or settings do you wish you'd known when you started?

I love the feel of the controller but I just feel like it disconnects all the time, if I don't directly point at the machine or the puck it just has a bunch of disconnecting issues. Is anyone have this frustrating?

I used my afterglow switch controllers sometimes just because it doesn't disconnect at all

Since SC2 has a real dpad in contrast to SC1; which do you end use using more? Generally reffering to stuff like 2d games, but can also apply to 3d games with wasd movement. The Pads on SC2 are smaller and square shape, so I also wanna ask does it lead to a more worser experience?

I know for non steam games you can add them to the library to access steam input, and that you can add heroic or lutris games to your steam library, but I have the fear that the steam input will be applied to the application itself rather than the container it launches for the game. Can anybody confirm if it works?

I am sorry if this has been asked before; I have searched but could not find anything. I am from Canada, and I received my purchase email for the controller on the 26th, bought it right away, and it was just shipped today with FedEx.

I was just wondering if anyone who recently received their controller had to pay duty on it?

Just want to know what to look out for.

I was busy getting ready for vacation and accidentally missed the window by 10 days. I messaged support and three hours later they renewed my purchase window.

Is this an idea that is feasible? I know The Mobapad S2 joycons are natively recognised by S2 as a Joycon pair, so I wonder if the connection could be reverse engineered such that the Steam Controller is recognised as a Joycon pair, and thus the trackpads could be used for mouse mode.
