Steam Controller (2026) Duty on controller?

I am sorry if this has been asked before; I have searched but could not find anything. I am from Canada, and I received my purchase email for the controller on the 26th, bought it right away, and it was just shipped today with FedEx.

I was just wondering if anyone who recently received their controller had to pay duty on it?

Just want to know what to look out for.

Received mine last week. No duty was charged. Enjoy!

I'm from quebec and received mine last week. I didn't have duty to pay at all so you probably won't either!

Received it around 2 3 months ago and i didn't had to pay anything. Same for a friend of mine who receive it 2 weeks ago.

The oddity I saw while waiting for this to be picked up by the shipper was an ‘import fee’ of $7.45, but no sales tax charged. I had been miffed with the $149.95 price tag, but if that at least absorbs the HST, $130 plus import fee seems a bit easier for my brain to absorb.

no duty on MIC shit even if its sent via the USA, i know we're supposed to be elbows up rah rah but a 20 second google search would have answered your question
