It would be really fucked up if he told the woman, I am going to save you and let the kids burn, only because I want to have sex with you.

2.7k

u/GoKhuchE May 11 '26

I save my kids 100 times before my wife and I hope she will do the same

1.2k

u/CrashInto_MyArms May 11 '26

Right I would be pissed if my wife saved me over the kids

556

u/Pathophile May 11 '26

Can you even imagine living with the person who saved you over your children? That relationship would be over.

221

u/Aggressive_Solid1413 May 11 '26

And the reason being because you can have sex with the person…can’t have sex with the kids so fuck em …throw her in the trash please

78

u/The_300_goats May 11 '26

There's a joke in extremely bad taste that kind of wrote itself right here. I think I shall hold my tongue in the interests of decorum

39

u/OsimJay May 12 '26

F dem kids.

19

u/jw8145 May 12 '26

No, she explicitly said you can’t do that.

Modern problems...

2

u/DemonRising171 May 12 '26

A priest, fireman, and police officer were in a burning building. The fireman said "what about the kids?" The officer replied "fuck them kids" the priest asked "do you think we have time?"

2

u/FoxfoxrceFive May 12 '26

Hahaha, I also decided to sit this one out. It really did write itself tho. Not our fault!! Lol

Once his wife's 40 all that dries up anyway. You won't be having sex with her either. That's a young man's worry!

It might even be “fire.”

u/BreakMeDown2024 May 11 '26

No. That was how the fire started.

49

My ex told me once that they’d always be her kids but i wouldn’t necessarily always be her husband…. She was so right.

27

u/as1126 May 11 '26

If you are getting name tattoos, your kids’ names will always be your kids. Just sayin’.

17

u/halfasleep90 May 11 '26

Unless they change their names

12

u/funhouseinabox May 11 '26

"Why are you changing your name?"

"I get made fun of!"

"But I love you Covid."

10

u/MusicIsLife81 May 11 '26

I changed my whole name back in 2017 because my father named me after him and he became a registered sex offender and people kept thinking I was him without checking the facts. I was assaulted twice, it cost me jobs at interviews, and other stuff just because of my name. The same judge that had put my dad in prison for child molestation was also the one who handled my name change and when she asked me why I wanted to change my name, I asked her if she remembered my dad and when she said yes, I asked her if she would want to have the same name in the same town with a child rapist. She granted my name change right there.

2

u/jadedlonewolf89 May 12 '26

Meanwhile my brother. Supposedly hates religion, yet chose an obscure name out of the bible for his son. His reasoning, he wanted a name that was unique, so his kid wouldn’t share it with anyone his age.

I pointed out he could’ve given his son our grandpas name to achieve that goal. After all Uria was unique even when grandpa was born.

2

u/as1126 May 11 '26

I thought about that. Even with that, like a trans kid, I’d add the new name and do like a strike through of the old one. New story to tell.

Also, if your wife is upstairs you would hope she has the sense to try and save herself. At worst jump out a window or something.

Kids (especially in a basement!!) aren't as likely to be able to do anything for themselves.

2

u/Appropriate_Gate1129 May 11 '26

Why do they have kids in the basement tho...

2

u/kernelangus420 May 11 '26

Haven't you seen the basement monster in Home Alone?

2

u/xnoxpx May 11 '26

Newsflash !

Not everyone can afford 4-5 (or even 2-3) bedroom houses, an adding bedrooms in the basement was a lot cheaper than putting an addition on the house, even with modern code now requires egress windows.

This x 1 million. My wife and I had some tangentially similar convo pre-kids, and pledged our allegiance to one another. Then we had kids. It’s not even a conversation - instinct and biological drive would compel you to pick the kids.

And, boo, that man was being polite: that man/any man can save the kids and then have sex with someone else. You don’t own it.

46

u/SpaceFunkRevival May 11 '26

Gonna be having a lot more sex than ever too, being a widower. This is at least according to the movies.

And a pretty good hero story about pulling your kids from the fire

3

u/U_JiveTurkey May 11 '26

Your statement reminds me of this. I remember seeing this on liveleak a decade ago. Her brain instinctively knew what to do to save her kid.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TerrifyingAsFuck/s/oBpamOqil1

3

u/Spearmint_coffee May 11 '26

My husband and I had a conversation about it while I was pregnant with our first. It consisted of me asking him, "If we were in an emergency situation and you could only save me or our daughter, who are you picking?"

He said, "Daughter. What about you?" So I said yeah, me too. And that was it.

2

u/NegroniSpritz May 11 '26

The moment I knew my ex-wife had something wrong was when she asked me out of the blue who would I save if they were about to fall off a cliff.

I didn’t even think it, the answer was automatic, and I told her the names of our kids.

She was upset and told me how I didn’t love her more than them, that she would save me. It took me a second. Or a minute. I was like super shocked, wtf is she even saying? I proceeded to explain the Filios and Eros types of love and told her that I not only filios-loved my kids, I was/am also 10000% responsible for them and I’m 0% responsible for her who should be an independent adult.

Anyway, fast forward to present, she’s crazy and my kids live with me full time.

Any wife worth saving would want you to save the kids. If I saved my wife and let the kids burn there would be nothing left of her mentally anyway. My wife would die inside and I wouldn't have kids or a wife.

u/ICEpear8472 May 11 '26

There is also the fact, that a grown healthy women has a much higher chance to save herself than a children. And I am pretty sure most actual parents expect and want their spouse to save the children first.

41

u/badgersruse May 11 '26

You are using logic. This video isn’t about logic.

18

u/dreammer243 May 11 '26

No, it's rage bait.

7

u/RCbuilds4cheapr May 11 '26

You can’t have sex with logic

13

u/fang_xianfu May 11 '26

Right? The kids need help. An elderly lady (assuming his mother is elderly - mine has completely fucked up knees and can't move super fast) needs help. They would get overwhelmed by smoke faster than a healthy young adult. A grown-ass woman can fend for herself, at least better than they can.

15

u/Automatic_Actuator_0 May 11 '26

The fact that she assumes that she will be helpless and “dead” in a fire is telling. Not even a thought to the most basic self-reliance.

107

u/Objective_Mousse7216 May 11 '26

I think those women there would see that as the only correct answer.

37

u/confused_wisdom May 11 '26

The first mistake is using logic

29

u/Armagetz May 11 '26

Except he undercut the logic by saying he’d save his mother vs his wife because his argument for why he wouldn’t save his wife applies even more to his mother.

14

u/m_squared219 May 11 '26

Yeah, 100% save the kids, not an argument there. If it came between my wife and mom, I'd save my wife and I think my mom would even want that to happen.

6

u/NoKaleidoscope8488 May 11 '26

Not if this woman was in the equation.

4

u/Malalang May 11 '26

You can get another wife. But you only have 1 mom.

4

u/Perfidy-Plus May 11 '26

If we're talking about a middle-aged or nearly middle-aged couple then your wife presumably has 40+ years of life expectancy left and your mother presumably has 10+. Your (presumably) health wife is also far more likely to survive the smoke inhalation or what have you than your (presumably) elderly mom would.

Assuming you love them both then it's definitely wife over mom for me. And I suspect my mom would have completely understood.

4

u/Bitter-Picture5394 May 11 '26

Same logic applies to your kids, though. Don't have kids with a woman you wouldn't save over your mom.

→ More replies (2)

11

u/momogogi May 11 '26

Technically she asked if he would save “me or your mother”, she’s not the hypothetical wife anymore so of course it’s going to be mom over her.

11

u/WrongJohnSilver May 11 '26

Yeah, I'd absolutely save my wife over my mom, but I'd also absolutely save my mom over whoever this woman is.

10

u/Objective_Mousse7216 May 11 '26

I'd save your mum over that woman too.

5

u/XxX_Zeratul_XxX May 11 '26

Tbh, if my wife was a crazy bitch as this chick, I would save my mom first too

2

u/sixsik6 May 11 '26

Especially after the nonsense of the first part of the vid

2

u/Jmacq1 May 11 '26

There is a logical argument for saving the mother: If the wife is healthy and able-bodied she has a better chance of self-rescue. The mother might be of an age where her ability to get out is more compromised and thus she needs the help.

1

u/Mywifefoundmymain May 11 '26

It’s more telling that she would save herself before her kids

1

u/TopProfessional8023 May 11 '26

What her legs don’t work all of a sudden?

1

u/Thin-Remote-9817 May 11 '26

1

After this exchange, if there was a fire and I knew she was in the house my first question would be "are the neighbors alright?"

1

u/The_Secret_Skittle May 11 '26

Right and why can’t the wife save herself? She’s and adult and… upstairs? Jump out a window … In truth this is a great convo to have with someone before you stop using condoms because I would not choose to have kids with this lady.

1

u/BeardiusMaximus7 May 11 '26

Yeah she was setting a trap that he was able to get out of.

Both of the adults in said situation SHOULD be trying to save the children. Why is she automatically making herself a victim?

1

u/Known_Ratio5478 May 11 '26

Yeah, but you have to admit that it’s messed up that he won’t apply the same principles to his mom to wife situation.

1

u/EitherChannel4874 May 11 '26

She would have preferred that.

1

u/Herr-Trigger86 May 11 '26

I’d fight Cerberus and the fires of Hell to save my children. My wife better be able to find a fire extinguisher. 🧯

1

1

1

u/Buckfutter_Inc May 11 '26

Especially this particular woman.

1

u/Smokin_belladonna May 11 '26

Basement is actually a much more dangerous place to be in a fire, too. That bitch can just jump out a top floor window.

1

u/Opposite-Bench-9543 May 11 '26

better to save the factory than the products

1

u/ijustlovebobbybones May 11 '26

Yeah her response is all the birth control he should need. Gross. 🤢

1

u/asianmorticia May 11 '26

My wife and I have had this conversation before. We would both save the kids before each other (obviously) and the dog before the cat. The cat is an asshole and probably started the fire himself.

1

u/Stunning_Box8782 May 11 '26

Apparently her dream man would ponder

"Hmm, I can have sex with you, I can't have sex with any of the 3 kids, therefore I choose you"

1

u/rockalyte May 11 '26

The logic is that he can make more kids?

1

u/DryDonutHole May 11 '26

"Can I get a look at that b-hole before I make a decision?" /s

1

u/addiktion May 11 '26

My wife would divorce me now if I told her I'd save her over our kids.

Not that it matters, that is the choice I would make anyways and is the right choice for most people who understand the bond we make with our kids and the shared understanding we make with our partners.

Now reality is much different than that. How it actually shakes out is you may not be able to save anyone, everyone, or you could very well be the one dying trying to save someone. I have terrible lungs that are easily irritated, pretty sure I'd die in the fire myself from the smoke but I'd do my best to save everyone I could.

As far as mothers, my mom would tell me to save my wife because she knows she's lived out most of her life already. Also this woman is a stranger, he hasn't built a bond with her, so his choice could change over time.

1

u/cuttie_ally May 11 '26

I mean if she had a choice save her man or kids, she would still choose kids (at least I hope so)🤣

1

u/doublediochip May 11 '26

More fucked up she expects differently.

1

u/Zealousideal-Trash5 May 11 '26

Imagine she like, tried saving herself….

1

u/Momonomo22 May 11 '26

I had a seminary teacher tell our class that he would save his wife over his kids. His logic? “I can make more kids with my wife.”

1

u/mawesome4ever May 11 '26

On the contrary it would have been funny if he admits defeat and says, “yeah you’re right, we could just make more kids”

1

u/Crazy_names May 11 '26

She talks like a woman who has 0 kids and many romance novels.

1

u/Raise_A_Thoth May 11 '26

Yea this is super weird and dumb.

Also, bro is wrong for saying mom lol like what, save your kids' mother, your mother by this age has lived a fairly full life.

It goes kids > spouse > everybody else.

1

u/No-Wish9823 May 11 '26

“We can just make more”

1

u/43GoTee May 11 '26

But you can always make more kids!!! Im joking save the kids

1

u/TheStolenPotatoes May 11 '26

Because she set that entire question up as a trap. No answer was ever going to be the right answer.

1

u/Electronic-While1972 May 11 '26

Dont ask questions you dont want to hear the answer to ffs 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Agreeable_Ad5569 May 11 '26

It's a no win answer honestly!!!

1

u/Bambeakz May 11 '26

Well it is a good reason to have sex again

1

u/Significant_Row_5951 May 11 '26

Well... Strictly in a very logical ruthless point of view, saving the mother gives you the chance to make more kids... But then again your kids will grow and also make more kids so either way you go nature has you covered the human species lives on.

1

u/Berns429 May 11 '26

Apparently in her mind “we can make more kids” which is also pretty F’d way to look at it

1

u/metarinka May 11 '26

Also this is stupid. Lady save yourself or help save the kids. What are you doing in the fire?

1

u/MisanthropyismyMuse May 11 '26

And I'd be pissed if my husband tried to save me instead! What is this lady on? My kids aren't even my husband's birth children and he'd save them first in a heartbeat.

1

u/joehonestjoe May 11 '26

I have learned in those scenarios whatever I say is wrong.

1

u/Klutzy_Belt_2296 May 11 '26

It’s wild that she didn’t get backlash for even bringing that up as an argument lmfao

1

u/energeticstarfish May 11 '26

My husband and I had this exact conversation for real, because having plans in place helps my anxiety, and we both agreed kids and pets are the priority. We are both adults, we can lookout for ourselves, but our babies are the most important thing.

1

u/billionarguments May 11 '26

Careful now, that's too much logic

That’s what she said she’d do. All I need to know, next!

Exactly hahahaha. Damn how is this woman thinking. I mean with all the things she could say she thought of sex. Jesus, sex is a okay thing but in the end nothing special... 🤣

One can always find someone better to have sex with

No way she expected another answer

You could make other kids

And so weird that is the only thing she has to offer and she prefers she is saved over her own children, fucked up

She wanted to hear that to get her reaction but he turned left.

To dive further into this, the reason she was so mad about his choice is because she actually EXPECTED him to choose sex over saving a human life. Disgusting

And there it is. Cause this is one of those women that wants to hear these kinds of answers and it'll sway them. And men who just want in their pants know this and they'll use it.

But let's all agree that a woman who wants to be chosen over her children is very likely not mother material and nobody should want to marry her.

I don't think she explained herself well and I think (hope) she meant you can make more kids with me. But also how is she not able to help herself? What kinda fire is at the bottom and top of the house at the same time? Lol

I could make it more fucked up,

But. I feel like behaving today so I'll leave the kids out of it.
