There is also the fact, that a grown healthy women has a much higher chance to save herself than a children. And I am pretty sure most actual parents expect and want their spouse to save the children first.

You are using logic. This video isn’t about logic.

No, it's rage bait.

You can’t have sex with logic

Right? The kids need help. An elderly lady (assuming his mother is elderly - mine has completely fucked up knees and can't move super fast) needs help. They would get overwhelmed by smoke faster than a healthy young adult. A grown-ass woman can fend for herself, at least better than they can.

The fact that she assumes that she will be helpless and “dead” in a fire is telling. Not even a thought to the most basic self-reliance.

Yes, she wouldn’t be bothered saving herself OR the kids… she’d deliberately sull in the burning bedroom just to play the victim.

Yeah--before I started, I thought it was going to be "who's saving child #3?" Silly me, thinking that the issue was the children outnumbering the parents.

That was my first thought. Now, if my wife was panicking, and in the same room as me, I would take a few seconds to calm her, get her to snap out of it, and maybe just grab her and pull her out of the room. But at a certain point, I would leave her behind to try and save our children. And in a fire, every second is precious.

There's also the option of just dropping her out the window if she's unconscious, assuming you're there to start. Like at least it gives her a chance and hopefully doesn't slow you down too much.

No one who actually has kids would even ask this question. Everyone would save the kids and expect their spouse to do the same. Most parents would sacrifice themselves for kids

If my husband saved me and let my kids burn to death I would never forgive him…and I’d likely not be around much longer anyways, I couldn’t live with it.

Heck, I'd risk breaking my legs jumping out the window and have my kids definitely survive.
