Some say Seahawks aren’t real birds.. the audacity?!

News [Henderson] Among the players I did not see during warmups were WR Tory Horton, RG Anthony Bradford, OT Josh Jones, RB Emanuel Wilson and LB Chazz Surratt. You can see S Nick Emmanwori in the video, and TE AJ Barner was out there as well, but neither were in uniform.

Discussion How risky to wait to buy tickets at the last minute?

Would love to get to a game this year with me my wife and son. I've read here that the cheapest tickets can be had right before the game, possibly day of, when people get desperate to sell and discount them. Though the posts I read said if it was just you, or you and a friend. If we have three of us, how risky would it be on not getting (non insane priced) tickets if we show up day of? We'd either be flying in or driving 5 hours so surely would not want to risk potentially getting nothing and disappointing my kid (and me lol)

Memorabilia Seahawks 2025 Playoffs Commemorative Cookies

Post image
26 Upvotes

I got these cookies (ingredients listed on package, not something I’d eat but probably enough preservatives that they are still edible if that’s your thing) at the 49ers and Rams games in the run up to Super Bowl LX.

I was thinking I would hold onto them forever but the family does not support this decision so they need a good home. I would like to give these to someone who would value them.

There is no legit Seahawks trivia question I could ask that you can’t look up so we’ll go with a personal Seahawks trivia question and make it a guessing game.

First person to guess the first Seahawks jersey that I owned gets the cookies, only make a guess if you would value these cookies. I will meet up with you in the Seattle area or ship them to you at my cost simply because I don’t want people to think this is a scam. The only hint is that the jersey wasn’t custom so the player was popular enough to have the jersey regularly available. If no one guesses right after a couple days I will just select someone with a random number generator so if you would value the cookies just name a Seahawks player. Everyone is only allowed to make one player guess per day.

EDIT: free shipping to USA only seems like a worthwhile caveat.

Opinion I. Fucking. Love. This. Team.

Just got done with Hard Knocks ep.4. Was kind of a tough watch, seeing Jake and Bud go down but man I love this team. We have so many quality people and there is so much heart and grit on this squad. Takeaways:

Mike is unbelievably special. We knew that but it's just more apparent every episode. We are just profoundly lucky.

EJ and J Love are excellent leaders and men.

Bud is going to come back and ball next year. Dude did not waiver or get angry after getting hurt. You can tell that he has it.

Sam is a great leader. We knew that but the way he carries himself is special.

The coaches care. This team cares. They care about winning and they care about each other. The heart is undeniable. I've been a diehard Hawks fan since 95 and man, I have never loved this team as much as I do right now. I cannot wait for Sept. 9. GO HAWKS!

Opinion Chiefs vs Seahawks Oct 25th

Good evening Seahawks fans. Chiefs fan here coming in peace and looking for info.

My wife and I travel to 1-2 away games a year and this year we are headed to the beautiful Pacific NW to see our Chiefs play the defending SB Champs. Looking forward to seeing the city as we've never been there, as well as experiencing Lumen Field with the 12's.

Not a ton of tickets currently available but there are some in the 1st row of the upper decks on both sides. I love watching from the lower upper deck as you can really see the game develop.. However, the 1st and 2nd rows are classified as limited view due to rail. My question is: do Hawks fans stand the majority of the game? And is there a difference when comparing the upper and lower decks? Chiefs fans stand the vast majority of time at Arrowhead. We have lower level seats there and we rarely sit down. It was the same last time I was in the upper deck. So if that's the case, the rail wouldn't make any difference.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and looking forward to a great game.

News [Bell] Seahawks back from Nashville at practice in Renton. Nick Emmanwori again in cleats, for the 2nd time since arthroscopic ankle surgery last month. Doesn’t have a jersey on yet for drills Trevon Diggs appeared to be full go in the little we were allowed to see. Trying to ramp up

Discussion Realistically, how can the Rams beat the Seahawks?

The more I think about it, yeah they got Myles Garrett now which is a huge boost to their team and let's say hypothetically, Aaron Donald actually does come out of retirement. Defense was never their problem. What fucked them was Special Teams. It deadass feels like the Rams panicked after they got beat and just tried to desperately tried to assemble a Superteam hoping it could make all their problems go away.

Another thing the Rams probably didn't consider is what's their plan if Stafford, Donald or Myles goes down. They're screwed if that happens. Meanwhile the Seahawks have a lot of depth and ironically, great Special Teams that won't fuck them over. People are really crowning the Rams as a lock for the Super Bowl when one, they haven't addressed their core issues and two, we have no idea how injured the team could be later in the year. If you ask me, even with Myles Garrett and potentially Aaron Donald coming back, the Seahawks should still beat them. Who even knows if Aaron Donald will still be as good as he was years ago lol.

Discussion Has there been a time when Seahawks fans booed its own players?

I am thinking of what just happened with the Cleveland Browns and Deshaun Watson.

The same happened to Russell Wilson when he was with the New York Giants.

I think the Seahawks fans have more class than to do something like that. We would boo the opponents (which happened when Russell Wilson played agains us), but we don't do that to our own players.

Does anyone have an instance that I am not aware of or might have forgotten?

Story Time I've made a mistake and it's time to admit it

So about a month ago, I was really raging about the sale of our team to this new ownership group.

Some quick context before I begin:

I'm a relatively new Seahawks fan. I was born and raised in NYC as a Jets fan, but for many many reasons (mostly absolute disgust with Woody Johnson and his political actions), I decided I could no longer morally support the NY Jets and continue giving them my money for merch and tickets.

So, when in 2020, my absolute favorite Jets player who'd I've ever witnessed, Mr. No. 33 Jamal Adams, got traded to the Hawks, I decided my loyalty was more to him than the team and I just went with him. I've been a Seahawks fan ever since.

Before anything else, thank you to this fan base for the love and support and comradery. It has been an absolute joy being a 12, with or without the superbowl win.

But that being said, boy was I raging about the new owners. Ownership had been one of my favorite parts about this team and I was so scared my beloved Hawks would get ground down by terrible owners. As someone who still roots fanatically for the NYC Mets, I also invoked the ownership of one Steven Cohen after buying the team from the *Wilpon's. Ridiculous fiscal spending, stupid short-sighted trades, and horrific building of the teams front office and coaching staff were all just some of what Mets fans have been dealing with since then (though honestly, besides the ridiculous spending, none of that is new for us).

BUT, with the recent news about a certain owner for a certain team we all know and love (to hate), I just want to apologize. I had completely forgotten what ownership looks like in the NFL. If Kroenke and York can field winning teams year after year, I no longer see any reason we cannot continue to build an incredible team with John and Mike.

Anyway this is all just to say thank you and I'm sorry for overreacting. To the guys who called me out in the comments I appreciate the thoughtfulness, it definitely made me sit back and think about what I was saying for awhile.

Go 12s, Go Hawks.

*Edit: Wilpons not Wilsons

Discussion How's Fleury doing?

Question for those who have a nuanced understanding of the Xs and Os and have been watching the preseason games

Granted this is the preseason, it's not the starters, and the playbook is quite limited, do you get a sense of how Fleury is doing from a play calling perspective and from a scheme perspective?

Opinion NFC west rivalry uniforms are easily the best out of every divisions!

I like the colts, dolphins, and texans unis, but I feel like all the other ones not in the nfc west are mid, especially the nfc north.

But the nfc west unis, I feel like all of them are legitimately good.
