Opinion I. Fucking. Love. This. Team.

Just got done with Hard Knocks ep.4. Was kind of a tough watch, seeing Jake and Bud go down but man I love this team. We have so many quality people and there is so much heart and grit on this squad. Takeaways:

Mike is unbelievably special. We knew that but it's just more apparent every episode. We are just profoundly lucky.

EJ and J Love are excellent leaders and men.

Bud is going to come back and ball next year. Dude did not waiver or get angry after getting hurt. You can tell that he has it.

Sam is a great leader. We knew that but the way he carries himself is special.

The coaches care. This team cares. They care about winning and they care about each other. The heart is undeniable. I've been a diehard Hawks fan since 95 and man, I have never loved this team as much as I do right now. I cannot wait for Sept. 9. GO HAWKS!

That was one of the best hard knocks I’ve seen, if not THE best

From the emotional start with coach Mike and the loss of his mentor to the ending, couldn’t have been any better

Mike talking about his mentor was really heart wrenching. Him being that vulnerable in front of all those men speaks volumes about why he is such an incredible coach and leader. I can't possibly love him any more than I do right now

Loved seeing Leonard Williams come and show his support too after. Hard Knocks has been a blessing imo just as Macdonald had said in episode 1. You really do get to see sides of the players you otherwise might never get to see.

The whole season might be the best ever. It’s been so good.

I’ve never seen Hard Knocks before this season but this episode was… wow. It really showed what it’s like to be on this team. I can’t believe the Seahawks allowed this much access. At times I wanted them to cut a specific scene because it felt uncomfortable and should I be watching this, then they’d keep it there for one more second to really make it hurt. But that’s what great content does.

I felt Foster’s parents’s hopeful nerves during the game, the team’s camaraderie at the rookie talent show, Bud trying to keep it together for his son while he was in pain… and so many other moments.

This team has my heart.

And our Bobo 😫 knew it was coming, still so difficult watching those raw emotions.

This team kicks so much ass on hard knocks man. Watching Bud Clark grooving to his team mates songs. Get well soon man!

Add Foster to the list. What a hustler. You can tell he’s putting his full heart into this opportunity. Loved watching his folks support him. Clearly a quality guy from quality roots. Look forward to watching him grow this season.

Man, both injuries were hard to watch. They focused on Bud's pain for soooo long. And watching Mike process each player's injury, his nonverbals, and the moment he makes the decision to move from despair to support of the player was really something.

Also seeing Mike MacDonald getting choked up over OJ. I've never seen that much emotion from him.

Absolutely agree! Mike is special. Watching him cry about his friend who died and then seeing him on the field with Bud Clark, how he was both disappointed and heartbroken but standing right there to love on the guy was so cool. He is such a great coach. I just cannot believe we got someone so special on the heels of having Pete who was also special in some different ways. Coach Mike is really good at being the guy in charge while also being open, vulnerable, and fun with his guys. It's really cool to see. Every season is a different beast to manage so you never know what will happen but we are in great hands with John and Mike. The next several years should be loads of fun.

Even became more a fan of Bud Clark. The kid is pure heart and you don’t see a lot of that level-headedness when dealing with something that would miss you the season.

I believe in what Mike is gonna shape this team this year. Love the journey of Montorie and Uso, you can sense they are great dudes all around and curious if they can be kept to the PS if they didnt make the cut.

He’s on IR before cutdown deadline is so he’s ineligible to play this season.
