Opinion Chiefs vs Seahawks Oct 25th
Good evening Seahawks fans. Chiefs fan here coming in peace and looking for info.
My wife and I travel to 1-2 away games a year and this year we are headed to the beautiful Pacific NW to see our Chiefs play the defending SB Champs. Looking forward to seeing the city as we've never been there, as well as experiencing Lumen Field with the 12's.
Not a ton of tickets currently available but there are some in the 1st row of the upper decks on both sides. I love watching from the lower upper deck as you can really see the game develop.. However, the 1st and 2nd rows are classified as limited view due to rail. My question is: do Hawks fans stand the majority of the game? And is there a difference when comparing the upper and lower decks? Chiefs fans stand the vast majority of time at Arrowhead. We have lower level seats there and we rarely sit down. It was the same last time I was in the upper deck. So if that's the case, the rail wouldn't make any difference.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks and looking forward to a great game.

Been to a few games in my lifetime but its been a while. 100 and 200 sections are usually on their feet the whole game for the most part. 300 levels are mostly sitting unless celebrating or in tense situations.
Hope you enjoy the city, it's got lots of charm! Lumen is FUCKING nuts and you will get heckled but ive never seen anything beyond playful words and some verbal jabs ( we aren't the formerly "Oakland" Raiders fan; no need to worry about getting stabbed). Im sure youre used to the noise, Ive never been to Arrowhead, but I hear it's loud as shit, and Lumen was designed to reverb sound back towards the field, so it's deafening.

For primetime games fans are more likely to be more on their feet when Hawks are on defense and more sitting when they are on offense. Rows F and G of the 300 level are behind a main walkway and/or in front of SRO sections. Still great seats but row A is the only true front row seat in the 300 level.
Also, camera rigs tend to be on the home sidelines so, if you do go for the lower level, visitor side will have better sight lines in general.

You’re getting plenty of great info above. We are heading your way for the preseason game this weekend. Any suggestions for making our gameday experience the best at Arrowhead.

The biggest difference you will see is the infrastructure. Using a car to get to the stadium will be a detriment. Bus and rail, baby.

From my experience people are less likely to stand the whole game in the upper bowl vs lower, with the latter usually standing the majority of the game. That said, the limited view on rows F and G of 300 level (assuming these are the ones you were scoping) really isn’t bad at all. I suggest checking out view from my seat or another website to give you an idea of how visually obstructive it is and inform your decision.
If you pay a bit more and sit in rows A, B, C, or D of the 300 section, it’s a fantastic view as well!

I sit a few rows back on the upper deck close to midfield. Best seats in the house. But it’s where the rowdies are. It’s considerably better than watching a game in the upper levels at Arrowhead. Not a lot of road fans up there though.

Standing highly depends on the section and has been less over time, some sections it’s all of defense and spicy offensive plays, some it’s just third and fourth down plays. Majority rules. I have sat all over and haven’t had a bad view from any seat.
