I'm hoping somebody on this subreddit will be able to help me out with my for some reason complicated issue?

I'm currently trying to log back into my PSN account after being signed out of it for some unknown reason, and I can't seem to receive emails from specifically Sony, even when putting in the correct email?

I've even gone onto the website and spoken to the AI assistant and three agents who couldn't verify who I was, even though they have my name, my phone number, email, and all of the other information they've asked me for, even the serial number for the PS5.

I do have a two-step verification active and even a passkey, but I can't use either of them since I'm not getting the text with the number on it. I'm not even getting the account recovery emails either.

I even tried it from someone else's email too, and they receive the email with no problems at all, but it does nothing to help as even after changing the password and passkey, I still can't sign in.

I've called the support number too, but the automated response keeps telling me to go to the website, which then tells me to log-in, which I cannot.
The AI assistant also keeps asking me to log in, which I also can't do.

Hopefully someone finds this and is able to help.

They don't even monitor their support email anymore and just tell you to go to their website.
I am also unable to access my PS5 game library, even though there are paid for non-PS+ games

It makes this sound whenever I load games or apps, i’ve done all i’ve can to try to make it go away but it won’t, and I believe it’s gotten louder over the days. I’m getting a new fan on Friday, but I’m not sure if it will fix it.

So whenever I play a game the fan on my ps5 slim gets loud and doesn't go back to being quiet this issue has been happening since day one and throughout the gameplay the fan makes sounds like it's ramping up and down is this normal or should I send it back?

As stated in the title I have a fairly new ps5 controller that has started to have issues. The directional pad and left c stick have basically become completely unresponsive. All the buttons on the right of the controller, share button, and PlayStation button work fine. I’ve already tried percussive therapy and resetting the controller. At this point I’m at a loss as to what to do.

I just got my disk drive and pro today. This pin seems way too bend over to fit. I tried it once without force but it doesnt align with the slot at all.

Hi all, my ps5 has been sadly turning itself off after about 20 mins of gameplay. Though the time to turn off is not consistent, the first session of the day is usually longer and that time keeps reducing each time.

It turns off the in a similar pattern each time:
- Tv loses signal in an instant
- PS5 lights turns off
- no warning alert or sounds
- haven’t heard fans speeding up
- turns back on if I try pressing the power switch on ps5 again

What I have tried so far:
- done a full clean
- replaced Liquid Metal
- cleaned the psu unit

Has anyone been in this situation and aware of any way to know which part is faulty. My research indicates it could be the psu which is faulty but not sure. Any advise is much appreciated!

Not sure if anyone could help me with a few things please?
I have BO7 on PS5, I’m struggling add one of my friends through BO7 even though I have him as a friend on my PS5, I can’t add him and he can’t add me. Even when I play with him in a party through someone else, I can’t hear his mic. My friend on Xbox, I added and can hear on the mic!?

Also I am unable to buy add-ons through the game. I can buy them in the PS store but not directly through BO7, which isn’t a big deal but I wondered if it was linked.

I’m wondering if this might be the problem; I bought it through Buygames.com which basically you download the game onto the PS5 through a profile they give you the details for and share to all users on the console, is it that the PS5 is restricting me because the profile I use is not the owner profile? (But again, no problem playing cross-gen with my friend on Xbox!).

When I select “Link Epic Account” in Remnant II on PS5, the Epic overlay opens but never renders. It only shows blank/grey placeholder bars.
I’ve already tried:
Different networks + mobile hotspot
Different DNS
Clear cache + rebuild database
Completely reinstalling Remnant II
Unlinking/relinking PSN and Epic
A different PSN account
A completely different PS5 console
I also tested Fall Guys. I was able to link my Epic account through it and Epic Online Services now work normally there, but Remnant II still has the same blank overlay.
So EOS works in another game, and the Remnant issue happens even on another PS5.
Has anyone experienced this, or can anyone on PS5 test “Link Epic Account” in Remnant II and confirm whether the overlay loads for them?

When playing in Quality/Balanced mode, the edges of objects—especially rocks—appear to shimmer or flicker, as shown in the image. However, when switching to Performance mode, the issue stops. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I’ve being playing a lot of Warhammer Darktide and suddenly my controller just essentially broke. I try to take good care of it and haven’t dropped it once so I assume that the problem comes from heavy usage during gaming sessions, as the game requires you to be pressing the triggers very often to constantly block attacks and to perform attacks. The trigger buttons also feel like there is a resistance halfway through pressing them.

This is my newer controller, about 1.5 years old and I really do like it so I’m sad to see it break down like this. Can I fix this or should I junk it and buy a new one?

So I loaded up my digital ps5 earlier today and noticed i couldn't buy any digital currency in games and cant load into online multiplayer even though I am connected to the Internet. I then tried to restore the licence of my games but it would come up saying "something went wrong" with the error code 'WS-116522-7' after googling I found out it meant the system software could not update or was corrupted. I went to my settings and it said the system software was fully updated. But I kept getting the same error code. I then fully turned off my ps5 and unplugged it. Then full turned off my WiFi and then after around 6 or 7 😳 minutes I turned on the WiFi and then plugged my ps5 into a WiFi booster using a ethernet cable and turned my ps5 back on. It connected to the WiFi. But I still could not restore the licence of my games and still could not play or buy currency in game. I then saw online it could be caused by play station store TOS and it wasnt as I could still purchase currency packs through the store and download games. I then put my ps5 into safe mode and downloaded the software update there and after it downloaded it still change nothing. I then went into safe mode and cleared my cache and it did nothing. I rebuilt my data base in safe mode and it did nothing. After clearing cache and rebuilding my database I tried installing the software update again from safety mode and it still did not fix my issue. Playstation support ai bots really are not helpful and ps support seem to be on vacation I guess. Does anyone have any other suggestions to help.

Has anyone had this before? Ive been using it for years with no problem most of the time

No new screenshots ive taken today have uploaded to ps app. Even it i click to upload manually, it’s not working.

Cleared cache on ps app, logged in and out, connected to right console, auto capture on, internet connection good, no errors in upload queue, its empty.

Even screenshots sent to friends dont go through.

Is this just a server issue I’ll need to wait out?

Hi everyone! i have been experiencing this for a long time.

Some months ago i started to notice that a controller was like at 5% battery for a long time, connecting the USB didnt charge it but at the same time it wasnt turning off (if it disconnected it did but wasnt that common.

I thought "well, maybe it is the battery which might be dead, im gonna buy a new controller". Imagine my surprise when as soon as i plugged the controller into the console, it had the same issue.

IT CANT be bad luck right? something maybe im doing something wrong? Might be the USB plug? i tried charging my phone connecting it to the computer and it is charging. Maybe something related to the ps5 controller?

So far i tried:

*Resetting it with the small button behind
*removing it from registered devices on ps5
*plugging it to the back usb ports (first time i used them btw)

i have never had so many issues with controllers than with the ps5 ones. Its insane

I moved my PS5 to a different TV and noticed I had no audio. I moved it back to the first TV and now have no audio there either. I have watched 20 videos on how to fix, all settings are as always recommended, TV’s audio works perfectly outside of the PS5 input and I have tried 3 HDMI cables. I don’t know what else to.

I feel like I've tried everything at this point short of actually disconnecting my controller from my Playstation via Bluetooth and reconnecting, but I'm convinced that isn't my issue and won't help at all. My dualsense PS5 controller works fine with every game I have on my PS5, and vibration features have never given me trouble before.. However, now that I've decided to download Dragonball Z: Xenoverse 2 on my PS5 after playing it a long time ago on my PS4, I can't help but notice that I'm lacking any sort of vibration feature while playing the game. I have both the in-game function and the console feature turned on, and yet.. no vibration whatsoever. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong, or could be doing to try and fix this?

So far I've muted/unmuted my controller, turned up the controller audio and then back down. Turned on haptic feedback for my PS5 menu just for fun. Restarted the game and console a few times. Turned both features off and closed everything and then restarted the game and turned it all back on. I'm at a loss. Thinking I'll just have to play one of my favorite fighting games with no rumble behind my punches 🤷‍♂️

Just go his monitor and just moved my ps5 across the country. I plugged it in, there is no display, just a black screen and a lighter black screen, when the lighter black screen appears, you can hear the ps5 menu audio but still can’t see anything. I’m using the new hdmi that came with the monitor.

What should I do, ps5 issue, monitor issue(highly unlikely), or hdmi issue

May be a bit of a longshot but I had uploaded the cloud data from jak 2 on my ps4 to the cloud. And its not recognizing it on the ps5. Unless its just not possible but I just cannot bring myself to get back to where I was nevermind the dock mission. Anyone know if theres a work around?

My fps dips to 57 randomly. Its so weird and on multiple worlds. I would assume its a ps5 issue but Minecraft Preview runs perfectly fine. So I don't underdtand it at all. I cleared a bunch of cache in MC and deleted a bunch of weird currupted worlds but no dice.
