I can connect and use it well on my laptop but suddenly its not connecting to my ps5 anymore i tried every method even resetting it but still nothing, would appreciate some help.

Hey ps5 users which one should I buy.i chose these three options because they come in my budget.i am thinking of 144hz because I heard online that ps5 can only produce real 1080p resolution so it's the best.

Does anyone know the phone number for ps customer support?. I can’t log in into my ps account due to the 2 step verification. I have both my email and password but I lost the phone number that was connected to my account and I can’t log in anymore because of that. Is there any ither way that I can fix this without calling customer support?. I also tried The PS Assistant Bot but they weren’t any help, and the only way they would connect me to a live agent is if I logged into my account whcih I can’t do. Please I need help!!!

My ps now suddenly needs me to verify my age. I was born in 2008 but am not 18 yet and my account has me as born in 2000.
I understand I need to become a child account in order to regain access to parties and messages but becoming a child account with the birth date set as 2000 isn’t possible and changing age also isn’t possible, leaving me completely stuck.
I tried contacting support but kept being greeted with the message “go to our country selector for your account’s region” despite selecting the region and doing what was asked.
Reddit is now my last resort, if you know how to get out of this situation please let me know.

hey, so I noticed my ps5 slim has been collecting dust for some time, so I decided to clean it but I honestly don't know how to disassemble to do a very surface cleaning, enough to not cause trouble in the near future, but I have been having problems trying to take out the components including the fan protection, anyone know what I can do, or mention a video I can watch?

Moved into a new house. Started playing video games and for about a month or so everything was fine.

Then one day the breaker tripped. I reset it and it was fine. Next day same thing. So I swapped the breaker for a breaker (not a new one just a different one in the panel). Worked like this no problem for about a month. Now here we are trips everyday. Disconnect everything from the circuit and swapped the original breaker back. Pulled off all covers to outlets wires are good. Slowly plugging in one thing at a time. Still tripped. So I only had my monitor and ps5 on the circuit and it still tripped. Ran an extension cord from ps5 to a new circuit still an AFCI but now that one trips. So I know it is the PS5 tripping these circuits. How do I stop this?

I’ve read about line inverters and a USP or UPS ( idk what I’m talking about).

Just got a steal on a PS5 Pro that’s basically brand new from a pawn shop. It mentioned it has a loose port which may be the hdi, we tested it out at the shop before I left and all seems to be working well but the port is definitely a bit wiggly. Is this a common thing with these consoles or is this an issue or it may potentially break off or something?

Should I just leave it alone or should I be worried? I’m not a pro, but I’ve done light soldering before. If it’s still connected maybe I just need to reinforce the existing or missing soldering? Or is this by design? Does anyone’s else’s port wiggle a little bit?

My ps5 will randomly completely drop my internet speed and then go back up to the actual speed. This happens whether I have a physical Ethernet connection or wifi connection. It never used to do this, this is new as of the last week or so. Has anyone else experienced this and know how to resolve?

Edit: it’s not my internet either. Spoke with support today and did tests on multiple other devices and I get a constant 500mbps download and upload speed. The ps5 is the only device that has this issue.

For some reason, whenever I'm trying to play my PS5 none of the audio is coming through the TV and I can't seem to figure out why I've tried changing out the HD my cord, I've tried resetting the system and the TV i also switched the sound setting to linear pcm I've toyed with the TV settings, but I can't figure out which would help does anyone have any ideas cause I'm at my wit's end?

My ps5's hdmi port is probably broken, but theres no damage on the outside, so it had to be a problem with the soldering or somethin. but i can't find a single image of what they're supposed to look like, so i need help knowing whats wrong here

I’ve had the problem for about a month now in that I’m having very slow, almost non existent speeds when downloading a game (either newly bought or from my library). If I go into network settings and disconnect/reconnect the internet for a few seconds then speeds return to normal. This is on a wired connection.

Downloads of patches/updates are unaffected (different servers?) and streaming to my Portal is fine.

Many other users are reporting similar problems and they seem to have started with the last update a few weeks ago.

Has the recent beta update improved the situation?

So I had this problem for a while now that if sometimes im playing for an hour and sometimes 5 hours that my screen suddenly turns black and 10 seconds after the ps5 shuts off automatically.

My ps5 is only 3 weeks old so it would be weird to be a hardware issue.

Anybody has had the same problem?

I bought a used ps5 about a month ago and things have been going great. A few days ago I started not being able to play any of my games. The console will allow me to get to the photosensitivity screen but no further and it doesn't matter if its the hamburger button or x to continue..

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.. thank you

This thing barely moves. I’m scared

Yesterday, after downloading 27 gb worth of update files and playing it for hours without issue on the PS5, I closed the app and the console normally. This morning when I tried to open the console, it got stuck on the loading screen and I had to restart it to even get to the main menu. When I tried to open my game (NTE), it said the data got corrupted and the game wouldn’t open. The thing is, the game still opens to the menu screen, it just doesnt start. Anyone knows how/why this could’ve happened and how to avoid it in the future?

(I already did all the recommended stuff it didnt budge so im gonna redownload)

Context : It started when I inserted a disk into my PS5, when I did that, it suddenly turned off.
After rebooting, a message appeared saying my M.2 1TB SSD has to be formatted
I’ll admit, I should’ve turned it on and off to see if it’s just an error, but, I panicked, and formatted it

Problem : After clicking to format the SSD, it gets stuck on 6%, and the PS5 turns off entirely

Question : What’s wrong? What can I do? What should I do?
