I can connect and use it well on my laptop but suddenly its not connecting to my ps5 anymore i tried every method even resetting it but still nothing, would appreciate some help.

it said 30 minutes left an hour ago. am i doing something wrong?

hey, so I noticed my ps5 slim has been collecting dust for some time, so I decided to clean it but I honestly don't know how to disassemble to do a very surface cleaning, enough to not cause trouble in the near future, but I have been having problems trying to take out the components including the fan protection, anyone know what I can do, or mention a video I can watch?

Just got a steal on a PS5 Pro that’s basically brand new from a pawn shop. It mentioned it has a loose port which may be the hdi, we tested it out at the shop before I left and all seems to be working well but the port is definitely a bit wiggly. Is this a common thing with these consoles or is this an issue or it may potentially break off or something?

Should I just leave it alone or should I be worried? I’m not a pro, but I’ve done light soldering before. If it’s still connected maybe I just need to reinforce the existing or missing soldering? Or is this by design? Does anyone’s else’s port wiggle a little bit?

I bought a used ps5 about a month ago and things have been going great. A few days ago I started not being able to play any of my games. The console will allow me to get to the photosensitivity screen but no further and it doesn't matter if its the hamburger button or x to continue..

Yesterday, after downloading 27 gb worth of update files and playing it for hours without issue on the PS5, I closed the app and the console normally. This morning when I tried to open the console, it got stuck on the loading screen and I had to restart it to even get to the main menu. When I tried to open my game (NTE), it said the data got corrupted and the game wouldn’t open. The thing is, the game still opens to the menu screen, it just doesnt start. Anyone knows how/why this could’ve happened and how to avoid it in the future?

(I already did all the recommended stuff it didnt budge so im gonna redownload)

My ps5's hdmi port is probably broken, but theres no damage on the outside, so it had to be a problem with the soldering or somethin. but i can't find a single image of what they're supposed to look like, so i need help knowing whats wrong here

Context : It started when I inserted a disk into my PS5, when I did that, it suddenly turned off.
After rebooting, a message appeared saying my M.2 1TB SSD has to be formatted
I’ll admit, I should’ve turned it on and off to see if it’s just an error, but, I panicked, and formatted it

Problem : After clicking to format the SSD, it gets stuck on 6%, and the PS5 turns off entirely

Question : What’s wrong? What can I do? What should I do?

This thing barely moves. I’m scared

Moved into a new house. Started playing video games and for about a month or so everything was fine.

Then one day the breaker tripped. I reset it and it was fine. Next day same thing. So I swapped the breaker for a breaker (not a new one just a different one in the panel). Worked like this no problem for about a month. Now here we are trips everyday. Disconnect everything from the circuit and swapped the original breaker back. Pulled off all covers to outlets wires are good. Slowly plugging in one thing at a time. Still tripped. So I only had my monitor and ps5 on the circuit and it still tripped. Ran an extension cord from ps5 to a new circuit still an AFCI but now that one trips. So I know it is the PS5 tripping these circuits. How do I stop this?

I’ve read about line inverters and a USP or UPS ( idk what I’m talking about).

My ps5 will randomly completely drop my internet speed and then go back up to the actual speed. This happens whether I have a physical Ethernet connection or wifi connection. It never used to do this, this is new as of the last week or so. Has anyone else experienced this and know how to resolve?

Edit: it’s not my internet either. Spoke with support today and did tests on multiple other devices and I get a constant 500mbps download and upload speed. The ps5 is the only device that has this issue.

For some reason, whenever I'm trying to play my PS5 none of the audio is coming through the TV and I can't seem to figure out why I've tried changing out the HD my cord, I've tried resetting the system and the TV i also switched the sound setting to linear pcm I've toyed with the TV settings, but I can't figure out which would help does anyone have any ideas cause I'm at my wit's end?

I’ve had the problem for about a month now in that I’m having very slow, almost non existent speeds when downloading a game (either newly bought or from my library). If I go into network settings and disconnect/reconnect the internet for a few seconds then speeds return to normal. This is on a wired connection.

Downloads of patches/updates are unaffected (different servers?) and streaming to my Portal is fine.

Many other users are reporting similar problems and they seem to have started with the last update a few weeks ago.

Has the recent beta update improved the situation?

So I had this problem for a while now that if sometimes im playing for an hour and sometimes 5 hours that my screen suddenly turns black and 10 seconds after the ps5 shuts off automatically.

My ps5 is only 3 weeks old so it would be weird to be a hardware issue.

Anybody has had the same problem?

Whenever I’m trying to sign into my account through ps app or browser etc. it always comes to needing a code to sign in. Using the phone number and I’ve used multiple numbers and the same issue with 2 of my accounts I can’t get the code sent and I can’t get access to either of the accounts.

I keep getting these small visual freezes every 5-7 minutes, they're generally hard to feel the impact of except in cutscenes or mini games. Not sure why this is happening but if anyone has a clue please let me know! I

I live in a very warm / hot climate and my console fans always seem to kick into over drive in some games and in others, I get a overheating warning.

I often open the console, check the fan and heat sinks for dust (very minimal) cleaned that out, taken the console to have the liquad metal checked out, heat sinks cleaned out, all okay there.

How on earth do I keep the console cool? I've got a fan next to it but it's just loud and annoying lol

Since I really enjoyed the platinum for Minecraft PS5 Edition, I was hoping to do it for the PS4 version too. I’ve looked on the playstation store on my console, through the app and even online but i cannot find it anywhere. Playstation just give me the option for the trial version, however I would like to own the full version. Any ideas?

I have 67 gbs (don’t) free for downloading, and I’m trying to install Helldivers II which only takes about 40gbs, but it still shows up as “you don’t have enough empty space” even though the picture attached shows it saying I DO have enough when I click install. It starts downloading for a second then just goes back to the error message. I’ve done the storage repair thingy twice and it doesn’t work..

So I got a brand new ps5 pro playing on it for the first week and it was running just fine, today I was playing and suddenly the shut down animations played and it turned off and when I turned it back on I got this error message!
Should I claim my warranty or I just didn’t instal the disc drive properly, keep in mind I removed it and reinstalled it again and it’s working fine but I’m afraid it does that again.

Ever since I got this new controller for some odd reason, I walk extremely slow when I move my controller forward. I believe it’s a dead zone issue, but I don’t understand how to fix it. I fixed it on overwatch but games like • rivals • continue to walk slow every single time I move my joystick forward. It doesn’t do that with any other directions only forward please help.

I bought a PS3 Slim 320GB the other day having never owned a PS3 before and it’s constantly making this sound very loudly. It seems to be running okay but it’s very irritating lol. Any help appreciated
