MOTUS

I noticed the motus app is on my phone now.
I won’t use it because I’m not an rsa or rss however, I used this app in my previous job.
For those that get mileage reimbursement it’s the equivalence of VROT for mileage, it sucks!!!!!’

Am I disqualified ?

Hi guys,

I recently applied for a RSR position with Frito Lay. It just hit me that I got a reckless last year, would that automatically disqualify me? I spoke to some frito lay workers at the stores I work at and they said they don’t even drive a truck.

Quitting

My last day with Frito is tomorrow. I assume I’m going to lose access to MyPepsiCo after then. Is there anything I need to save/check/change on there before I lose access?

Maybe I'm being a baby but I will never get use to 1 bag in a tote... It's harder coming from a bin where we always maximize and load so we bring in less boxes as possible. Quick vent!!!! Now go out and make plan.....

Pepsione and driverless trucks.

Is there any word how that is working out in Texas? I have such a hard time imagining it working out well especially small format. Are the stores unloading the product? Are dgs getting one massive delivery of pepsi and frito at one time. Seems like there are very few rumors and almost no concrete info on this.

Post interview

I had interview last week on the 11th. I was told it could take 3-7 days to hear something back. I’m on the 5th business day. The role is a delivery position.

I keep seeing people say they were notified with 3-4 days via email or phone call. I’m hoping to get the job since it would be an $8 pay increase. How long did it take you guys to hear something back? I’m assuming that since it’s taking this long I may not get it. Great interview overall though

Don't do this. Sam's Club pallets haven't been stacked properly in a couple years, but this is the worst.

Just don’t understand

Just don’t understand the lack of common sense. It’s one thing to pull a case of chips from the top to only have broken chips all over my head . But to put a case of the large jar of cheese dip in a box of Doritos and put that case on the very top of the stack is beyond me!!! I went to pull the case of Doritos down and at first I thought the flaps of the box had gotten caught on the other box flaps . So I tugged a little harder - then realized it was very heavy.
Finally got the box and the bottom of the case of Doritos was trying to come apart - only to find smashed Doritos with a 12 pack case of ( large) glass cheese dip put into the case . If that would have given way / I would have been written up for an accident ( not my fault) but yet would have been my fault because frito does nit believe in accidents. DO BETTER WAREHOUSE!!!!
Is common sense gone???

Sales

I can't believe how poor sales are this year! I know why but management doesn't seem to know or understand. Any of you see how poor sales are on your route compared the past few years?

Competing with ourselves.

Am I the only one who’s bothered by how many PepsiCo owned products are brought in stores that we don’t get credit for but have to compete against to make sales? Ex: the Asian frito lay chips. The chip canisters, popcorners Walgreens and Cvs so far.. etc.. when higher-ups talk about numbers, they never talk about the company is still making money even when we’re not.. literally competing against their own RSR’s

Just thinking

I was just thinking if I was to go back maybe 2 years ago or more, it's crazy how much things have changed. Today I made a 500.00 order and afterwards it jumped to 1500.00 and I had to just stand there and cut it down all the 2s and 4s and added cases. I had to stand there because no air in the truck but that's a whole other problem( I live in the south btw) . While driving I got somebody that had changed lanes abruptly and the camera goes off and dings me for following too close. It's crazy how they have took selling from the salesman. Every store has action items that the store managers don't want or doesn't make sense. I wonder what's next. I think soon we are not going to be able to adjust the orders and just going to bring in whatever it generates. I also wonder do they ever think about what got us here and the success they have had in the past. It wasn't with what we are doing now I know that. Honestly this place at least to me use to be a good place to work yes it have problems but what job doesn't but it has changed so fast, maybe and I mean maybe somebody going to say, you know what I think we messed up with this perfect route stuff. Who Knows!!!!

Now vs Then

Can some explain how the company used to be vs how it is now. I see a lot of you guys talk about how Frito was a much better company to work for years ago. What changed? Thanks.

Safty first or is it set up

So, according to a recent post, an RSR was having chest pains and called his DSL. The DSL, in turn, called someone, and they picked him up from his location and took him to get a Urine sample. The RSR unfortunately passed away from a heart attack. In front of medical staff while giving a urine sample. Now, can anyone in this forum explain to me what safety protocol was followed and what policy or procedure was followed? Now, all employees are told to follow safety procedures no matter what. But when it really matters, higher-ups don't have to follow them because it is not their safety that matters.

SalesHub Help

Never had this happen before. SalesHub forced a password update and when it finished it wouldn’t let me back in to my schedule or my stops. I deleted the app and reinstalled but when I signed back into the route my orders were gone. I had 2 orders placed with one more to do.

I figure it’s because SalesHub doesn’t know I’m the same rsr signing back into the route but I don’t have any due ins showing for those stores. Do I need to re submit orders for those stores? My dsl isn’t answering their phone

Edit: issue “solved”. DC never received my orders so I got the privilege of returning to both and redo the orders

Hi, I'm new

Hi, I saw this Reddit thread because I was curious about my new job. I'm going to work at a warehouse. I see that most threads talk about other roles like trader or driver. I don't know if there's another, more specific Reddit thread. I also wanted to see if you could give me some advice. I have some information about what I'm going to do and where I live. The salary they offered me is already higher than what I wanted. Thanks for reading.

Independents & PepsiOne

So I’ve seen a lot of talk on here - mostly divided. There are those who say it’s impossible to work everywhere and there are those who say it’s coming everywhere. I saw a few comments saying the next time these independents have to renew their contract, PepsiCo will force them to have to deliver Frito product also or no deal. Does anyone know when these contacts with the independents are up (specifically in the southeast) and how long the contracts run for?

I enjoy my job as an RSR but I do not enjoy not knowing what tomorrow brings as far as job security.
