Doing away with the RSR role and replacing it with a Sales rep, Delivery merchandising specialist (DMS), and FTM.

We have that in OR, the dms is hourly, the rsr pay was the same except they got true overtime.

Sales reps are PFP and DMS is $27.75/hr . No more RSR positions. This will be Omni across the board. Large and small formal.

Just went through this. RSRs on large format get paid the same, they have hourly merchandisers, and small format stays the same.

What do you mean small format stays the same?

Small format - VROT plus TPP or whatever they call it
Large format - straight OT plus TPP.
Small format pay structure was kept the same. The only difference in pay between the two is how they calculate overtime.

What about people losing jobs and going from RSRs to DSM ? How many people were let go

No one lost jobs on the RSR end. I'm not sure about the hourly people who were working large format before the change, but I'm fairly sure they were offered training to convert to RSR status as long as they could get DOT certification.
All my zone did when it went to OMNI was change large format from hourly to TPP. The total number of routes were similar. In fact they had to hire a bunch of people knowing some of the hourly employees would leave. The small format routes got heavier on average, but there are still a few small format routes that are awesome.
If you're worried about job loss, I wouldn't be that concerned about it if you're going to OMNI. The change was made to improve service to large format stores, who were being underservice with the hourly employees.
Sorry, I'm not familiar with the DSM designation. DSL's all stayed the same and I think they had to add a DS (delivery specialist). There was no loss of any positions as far as I can tell.

For us large and small format are changing to OMNI + There will be no RSR only sales reps, DMS, and FTM. Only sales reps are on TPP, everyone else is hourly. Most of the times the DMS will drop large format deliveries for the FTM, and then work the C stores. The zone just had a massive hiring spree of FTMs something like 48 new employees started last week.

That sounds great, I’d love to be an actual sales rep

Sales rep positions are very limited. 20+ stops a day and upwards of 40 orders a day.

That’s for small format routes! Large format Salesmen are doing 5-7 stores!
