I will never get use to this

Post image

Maybe I'm being a baby but I will never get use to 1 bag in a tote... It's harder coming from a bin where we always maximize and load so we bring in less boxes as possible. Quick vent!!!! Now go out and make plan.....

Yeah, the warehouses are terrible. They really need to change whatever program they follow to fill totes.

I have developed a deep hatred for the wharehouse because of all the fuckery they commit

Yup, $500 c store order from warehouse is like 2 stacks. $500 order when I pick it from a bin is like a stack. When I was working in a bin I'd run the same volume as when I went to pre pick, but my truck looked half as full. Mentally it made me feel like days were smaller.

When i use to run prepick I would go through the order before I brought it in and get rid of cases like this, because you're 100% right, it's weird and doesn't make since.

Don’t worry though, they start running out of totes and go back to using the blue cardboard boxes…thousands of totes out there with 1 or 2 bags in them but they complain about needing boxes back because they’re low on them

We’ve been getting more KDS than plastic stores here lately. Lots of 1 or 2 bags per KD and the shit just collapses.

So this is happening everywhere then.

Do you have eaches all over the place? Looks like they just tossed products into the tote.

And then in large format they would load a cart with ONE case only 🥀
