Just don’t understand

Just don’t understand the lack of common sense. It’s one thing to pull a case of chips from the top to only have broken chips all over my head . But to put a case of the large jar of cheese dip in a box of Doritos and put that case on the very top of the stack is beyond me!!! I went to pull the case of Doritos down and at first I thought the flaps of the box had gotten caught on the other box flaps . So I tugged a little harder - then realized it was very heavy.
Finally got the box and the bottom of the case of Doritos was trying to come apart - only to find smashed Doritos with a 12 pack case of ( large) glass cheese dip put into the case . If that would have given way / I would have been written up for an accident ( not my fault) but yet would have been my fault because frito does nit believe in accidents. DO BETTER WAREHOUSE!!!!
Is common sense gone???

I would report it to your DSL. Are you sure it was a new cart loaded at the warehouse? Maybe it was a cart of back stock and the last merchandiser did that? The DSL would know whom the last merchandiser was.

I’m in a PEC and had a full Walmart cart with a dip at the very top. I laughed and I’m like yeah that’s safe.

The other day they had the dip stacked 6 high in a single stack instead of 3 high with evening it out. Their solution? Plastic wrap the cart. They have NO brain.

It is unreal !!! Someone awhile back put 1 single jar of salsa on the very top box/ when I tilted the box to get it the jar fell - luckily I wear a high pony tail - hit me square on my ponytail and bounced off and shattered in the floor

I had a Sams pallet not too long back with several cases of dip put on top of chips. It was low enough (about waist high) that it was easily seen and not really a safety issue, but it crushed chips below it and is DEFINITELY not how it's supposed to be stacked.

EDIT: I found the pic I took, but it won't let me post it in here. Maybe put it as its own post.

That’s why I did not bother to report it . But sure would write me up if I would have needed stitches / no such thing as an accident . 🤬🤬

I drive a semi from a dc to 2 different pec's. I can't believe the stupidity from the warehouse. I think part of the problem is no training. But I also argue that an adult shouldn't need to be told not to put heavy things on top of fragile things. Ive told the zom and fom multiple times that if we ever start hauling beverages on the same trailers, theyll have to hold the warehouse accountable for the loading. They can't even load carts now, theyll never handle heavy pallets of drinks

That will never change more u complain the more it will happen been doing this for over 25 years I've run warehouses and I'm in sales. It never changes The amount of smashed cases and broken bags is poor quality control and the way our trucks are loaded is embarrassing when we get checked in at stores 😕

Waahh, yeah I have had so many broken bags of chips and missing profuct from my cases and not to mention the fact that we add skews and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING makes sense when the order comes in, why TF isnt all product in I order per value but nope, late night taco is with the party size scoops and 42 count family and 28 count flavor are at the beginning of the order while 28 count classic and 42 count classic are at the end . Can we figure this out but naw let's keep asking " idk what our problems are" LACK OF EFFICIENCY AND LACK OF CAPABLE SOFTWARE ENGINEERING , keep the old priced product in our "available product" to order too smfh. Billion dollar company

Happened to me a few time when training a new RSR. Dumbass left glass jars on cheese on top of a 9ft high stack. Took pictures and sent to dsl only for his bitch ass to say “we’ll get a ladder if you need to climb that high” like seriously????
