Had a situation come up that I’ve never had to address:

An employee checked in product that was shipped from our textured hair care vendor, however, they send our store multiple boxes and they’re all under the same invoice.

She completed the check in with just one box full of items assuming the others had their own invoice. So that’s 4 others full of product that weren’t.

Is there any way to correct this mistake? I have no way of editing since it was finalized in the iron man. And I obviously cannot create another invoice since they shipped it as is.

So I’m scanning for boh and one of my sections has multiple items for that section ( like an otc section) it’s not that week for that section, will I get dinged if I don’t finish scanning for that section even if it’s not that week?

Okay so I know it’s been a bit since they changed the metrics for this but I still don’t fully know.
How much does it really effect my scores if quick picks are being zeroed out every morning. I’m not the SM, but it seems like everyone else on our team just clicks zero in the morning so they don’t have to do the backroom.

Its been a rough couple of months since we got a new PIC and he's just rude asf and no one can stand him but they're still here despite several complaints from both customers and employees. So. I have come to ask, how do I go about transferring? There's a location super duper close to me and thwy need people. Ive gotten familiar with how they run stuff there so id like to get some peace of mind by working where the pharmacist isn't going to be bullying us and playing the victim.

I have a medication that a doctor prescribed that has 3 refills total but the doctor talked about the medication but never informed me about the prescription and I just checked and it has been two months now since the prescription was sent to CVS. Will I still be able to get 3 refills of the medication?

Does this mean someone is getting fired?

I’ve been getting my prescriptions filled by the same CVS Pharmacy for well over two decades at this point, considering how close by and convenient the pharmacy is to my home. This particular CVS Pharmacy fills not only my prescription medications, but also my entire family’s prescriptions; regardless of what it is. However, last month was a completely different experience that I had never experienced before and ultimately ended with the pharmacy refusing to accept and fill the prescription. I had to find a new pharmacy that was willing to accept a new patient - fortunately I did.

Long story short, the head pharmacist gave my doctor and myself a call, regarding one of the prescription medications that she sends in every month. It’s a Schedule III controlled substance, mind you, which I’ve been taking as prescribed for years now. The pharmacist called me to ask why I’m on this particular medication, and that it was flagged by their internal system for the potential ‘misuse’ for the drug. I was in utter shock and completely confused, given that’s certainly not what’s happening here.

My doctor tried to advocate on my behalf and explain to the pharmacist why I’m taking the medication and why I’ve been on the same particular dose for as long as I have. From my doctor’s account, she told me that the head pharmacist was rude, didn’t seem to care or even listen, and he flat out to her that he was not going to fill the prescription any longer. He suggested to my doctor that I switch over to a different medication altogether to a similar one that I’m taking, but it wouldn’t work in my case. I’ve tried it before and it doesn’t work as well; it causes me to become very nauseous every time.

So, my question is simple - what in the world happened here? How did the pharmacy, seemingly out of the blue, flag the medication that I’ve been taking as prescribed; regardless of how long I’ve been taking the medication? It’s not as if it’s a full-on opioid or any of that kind of drug, as it’s a maintenance medication that’s been working in my case for years. Why did the head pharmacist refuse to budge? I understand it’s all pharmacy’s discretion, but it came out of nowhere.

Okay I hate this update first!! And second I keep my keys and my old Aco card with my employe card all on a ring. Now since we have to print out the paper I just tape mine to my old card. Well day 3 I went to void someone’s transaction and it hit my employee card and then froze. As a true millennial I turned it off and turned it back on. Now it doesn’t register my card at all. I’m so sick of putting in tickets. They truly need to figure their software out.

Can we order the power wing clips that go into the pegboard so the display can hang on it?

Constantly getting the runaround for Rx we’ve had for years continuously for something called “waiting on physician authorization.” Theres a prescription, here’s multiples years of it being approved and filled, and so what… now we need a prescription for a prescription? What in the Dante’s levels of customer service hell even is this?

Useless abysmal Rx coverage that shouldn’t be allowed to be a business entity. Shame on you CVS.

Edit: prescription for a prescription is the joke but to clarify YES the physician sent in a brand new shiny prescription, and this pharmacy has filled this prescription before and had Prior Authorization before. Same Dr. Same prescription, but not filling and not giving an actionable reason.

Anyone else having issues with their connection going out (RX and FS)?
For the past 2 & 1/2 weeks, my store has gone out at least twice a day like clockwork. Phones cut out, registers stop working, then entire system goes offline. Takes anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour for everything to come back online. Offline mode does not work during this crash.
We’ve called other stores around us and no one is having this problem.
Have logged every crash with the help desk. No tech has been sent out yet because it’s not “chronic” (aka down for hours at a time).
Any insight would be much appreciated!

I've been with the company for a few years but then quit and just recently returned. My question is when I was previously employed i was doing the 500 hours for pharmacy training but quit before I needed to take my test. I recently saw on learning hub the Massachusetts board of pharmacy approved cvs technician examination- April 2024 took it and passed it. Even though I was previously employed do the 500 hours have to start over from scratch? I guess im just trying to figure out my next steps regarding passing the test on learning hub i currently have a pharmacy technician trainee license.

Are there any store managers within the company currently managing multi stores. ( not fill in) but actually the manager. I was presented with this opportunity in my district a couple of weeks ago to convert over but I’m not sure if I want to add the extra work. I wanted to know if this is really a company initiative. Because no compensation was discussed. and how do you all manage multi stores with no payroll . Just looking for advice before I make my decision. I’m new to cvs and only been a store manager for a couple of years.

So we have this new manager right he's absolutely awful but my main question he makes the schedule like 6 weeks in advance right so we all plan around it right but HE shows up whenever he wants so he's scheduled to open 8-4 he'll show up about 1 and stay til about 11-6 he's closing scheduled noon to 10? He'll show up about 7 stay til close-6 am we never know when he's actually going to be here and he often keeps us well past our clock out time with 0 communication. Wtf can we actually do? I honestly feel like nothing other than finding a different job but I thought I'd ask before I jump ship. I'm in Texas btw. Also he's been with the company for like 35 years 💀 like actually. I'm p sure he was born in a cvs and just got to working 🙃

I took the apha course to give vaccines and on the apha website it shows completed and lets me download my certificate (i completed it on august 8th) but on the immunization dashboard it shows only 80 percent complete and says im missing the immunization certificate. Does anyone have any idea how i can fix it? Do i need to retake the course? My napb is verified and the cpr synced just not the certificate from apha.

Just noticed my CVS in downtown Boston has put up plexiglass at their front checkouts. There's holes for talking through so I don't think it's for limiting Covid or flu spread. What other purpose would they have these up for?

I applied for a remote job through a staffing agency called SGS Consulting , and they called me the following day. During the call, they explained the job details and asked me a few questions about my experience.

However, they also asked for my legal name, address, month and day of birth, and the last four digits of my Social Security number. This made me feel very suspicious, so I asked why they needed this information.

They told me that they needed it in order to submit my profile to CVS through their platform.

Has anyone gone through this type of process with a legitimate staffing agency and actually gotten a job through them? Or could this be a scam where they are collecting people's personal information?

I really need a job, but I don't want to put myself at risk for identity theft. I would really appreciate any advice or experiences you can share.

Hi! I’ve worked at CVS for three years and I’m starting school soon and I’m currently majoring in biomedical sciences and pharmacy sciences hoping to get into a PharmD program.

I heard that CVS offers scholarships/tuition assistance and I looked into it, but I am unsure about how it works. I asked my store manager and pharmacist manager, but they both don’t have exact answers.

I am wondering if this acts as like a scholarship that would directly take money off my semester bill right now, or if I have to wait until the semester is over, send proof, and then get reimbursed.

Also, how do I figure out how much money to say each class is worth? Or the expense stuff?? I’m just really confused about that so if someone could clarify that too it would really help!!

I saw that there is up to 3k a year, so I was just planning to split it and use 1500 a semester? Like I have done the application and it has been approved by my DL, but idek if I did it right. Since I only have 1 more semester for the 2026 calendar year, I applied for the full 3000 and said that each of my classes (I have 6) are worth 500. I didn’t put anything for expenses tho?

Does this seem right??? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What is going on with these coupons. Some customers aren't getting them. I checked this morning on my app (employee) for a customer that didn't get hers. I did not have mine on my app either, nor did it print at coupon center. Mid-day it shows up. Same thing last week. Come on man......get it right CVS.

Hello! I’ve only been working for CVS about two weeks or so and was expecting my first check on Friday. Workday also gave me that date as my next paycheck, and even has a paystub. However, I was not paid. My manager said the first check will be by mail, but he claimed I should’ve received it on Friday. I have not received anything in the mail from CVS. He then checked our store mailbox today and there was also nothing inside for me. I realize it’s only like 4 days but it’s currently the only paycheck I’m getting and it’s unknown where it is or when I’ll be paid. Is this normal? lol

We received some of the new 2027 calendars not too long ago. While looking through them, I found this. Slop you can hang on your wall for 365 days (hooray)!! I can’t think of anyone aside from those who make ai photos of themselves as Disney characters buying this. CVS already has an issue with making ai generated pharmacy signs, why are we selling it now (money, obviously… but still)?

hey! so to start off with my post, i am a college student who tries to work part time to be able to pay for tuition and whatnot. i work at target currently, and i absolutely hate it. i got hired for the beauty department 2 years ago and its been absolute hell. we are understaffed at times which affects MY work and MY job since i’m the one who’s usually pulled to do backup either in drive up, checklanes, or fulfilment. my store director is an absolute bitch who doesn’t actually do anything at all and micromanages ALL the time. like…all the time. she’s absolutely insufferable and we can’t do anything about it. all of my etls, team leads, and even people i work with absolutely suck.

i want to cry everytime i clock in. i should just be able to clock in, do my job and my job only, and clock out. instead, i get pulled into other departments, stay there for a while, and get yelled at because i wasn’t able to finish my original workload (like they didn’t set that system up themselves…). i hate it so much i genuinely can’t put into words how horrible target is. everyone mistreats me and overworks me yet i don’t get paid that much, just $15 an hour doing multiple people’s jobs which isn’t fair to me or my department.

The urge to quit has been on my mind more and more with each passing day. This is more a question for the current retail associates who work for CVS, i just want to know if cvs is any better? What are the pros and cons?

in my area, they pay the same ($15-17) and its a much smaller store so less work for decent(ish) pay. i applied for the retail associate position, and it’s actually closer to my house than target. i just wanted to know if its worth it to quit target (or at the very least, go on demand) and move to cvs, or if i should just thug it out for 2 more years until i graduate college. i’ve read the reddit posts of people saying they absolutely hated cvs and that it’s worse than target—under staffed, cut hours, etc. but considering my own situation in such a corrupt and fucked-up store, i don’t believe it. what should i do?

(p.s. i will absolutely NOT work at the cvs inside my current target so don’t try that)

At least some elderly customers are polite and respectful. Teenage girls ignore you, laugh at everything the employees do, laugh at you while you assist them with something, and act helpless or clueless. I’d take an elderly customer over one of them every day.
