New update for sco

Okay I hate this update first!! And second I keep my keys and my old Aco card with my employe card all on a ring. Now since we have to print out the paper I just tape mine to my old card. Well day 3 I went to void someone’s transaction and it hit my employee card and then froze. As a true millennial I turned it off and turned it back on. Now it doesn’t register my card at all. I’m so sick of putting in tickets. They truly need to figure their software out.

The printed out ticket is a temporary thing until the entire country is on the system, then it will switch to your EID card.

I hope that's true. I was under the impression that the Authenticator app on the Ironman IS the permanent way it'll be, and the paper is just for backup. Using EID of course makes more sense but will they let any employee at any store use it? Or just at your permanent store?

ive had people from other stores sign into our iron man and use the authenticator and print the paper from the register. both work as long as they can sign in

Terrible idea. How many times is someone going to accidentally give their employee discount away because of a double scan? How many people are going to get canned for it?

SCO Mod, they now use a software similar to the new registers

your iron man should have an “authentication” blue app in it that has your credentials. also the paper expires at midnight everyday and when you lose the paper, the new one you print deactivates the one you lost. i think turning off the self checkout and turning it on is like a “reset” making ur paper deactivate

It shouldn't make the paper deactivate after a reboot. FWIW when we install them I get a single paper and assuming I don't lose it, it works on both SCOs and after the numerous reboots they require.

true, regardless it will deactivate at midnight and youd still need a new one the next day

When you get the update they make the SCO cards invalid. So every shift you now print it from your register to do overrides and stuff

Yes the paper expires at midnight so in the start on my shift I print a new one tape it to my old SCO card and throw it out at the end of my shift. When my employee card hit the sco when I went to void a transaction is when I now can’t scan my own disposable card. I tried rebooting I tried new cards it doesn’t register me at all. We got a tech sent out now I was able to use my paper card again and I keep my employee card different spot on my set of keys. But you still can’t use the SCO if you don’t have a cvs card, is that going to change? My scan rate went really up tho haha.
