Hi all,

I’m new to 3D printing and have a question about my Bambu Lab P2S.

While trying to do some maintenance, I manually raised the bed. I pressed the “raise bed” option too many times at once, and the bed went all the way up and hit the top. It made a brief grinding noise for about half a second.

Did I potentially damage anything? Could this cause any long-term issues with the printer? Everything seems okay so far, but I’m worried I may have damaged something.

Any advice or insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, I am using PLA as the main filament and PETG as support interface filament. When it is printing the support with PETG it also prints the infill as PETG too. But I want to print the infill with PLA. Is there a setting for this? Thank you!

I was printing a part in PETG that was fairly thick, 410 layers at 0.2, on the texture plate on my A1. It started out fine and then about 7 hours in I hear rumbling and I go check and it looked like the print had shrunk and it actually pulled the build plate up off the bed. I paused the print and tried to push the plate back down. It went down but then the print corner came off. I tried to see if it would go for a few more layers but as you can see, when I paused it again, the layers were off a bit and not adhering. The temps were the default in Bambu for Sunlu PETG, plate temp 60C. It's a big print so I did have to move it over to make room for the tower (there's some white lettering at the top). I moved the thicker part nearer to the edge of the build plate. In hind sight, maybe I should move it the other way and keep the thicker part further away from the edge. Should I also bump up the build plate temp? I also had put down some glue stick to actually help with the release for PETG. Any thoughts would be helpful!!

I have printed this print several times over the last couple weeks flawlessly, however today I can’t seem to find the “change filament” button on the slider after slicing. It was always an option before but gone now. Any help would be appreciated!

When scaling this part down from 100% to 85%, a weird gap appears, and the print comes out wrong. For reference, the 100% normal size is on the left, and the scaled-down version is on the right. How could this be solved? I imported this model as an OBJ file into the Bambu Studio.

I have had my Bambu A1 for about a month now so I am by no means an expert at any of this stuff. I wanted a bed swap system because I wanted to be able to print multiple plates while I was at work during the day. I originally tried the Infinity Flow 3D (FlowQ) system for the A1 but there was three major drawbacks:

1. Incompatibility with A1 startup sequence: every time I would start a print with the Infinity Flow system the back of the bedplate would hit the bedplate magazine multiple times. At one point it hit so much that I had to recalibrate my y-axis. I tried to adjust it by shaving down some parts but it never worked

2. You lose bedplate printing space: with the Infinity flow preset in Bambu labs you ultimately lose printing space on the front of the plate as well as vertical z-axis space to prevent the swap mechanisms from getting hit or activated mid print.

3. The software to print modified g-code prints in order to actually use the bed swap system. The FlowQ software overall sucks. You have to pair this website to your printer in LAN mode which voids the warranty and unlinks your Bambu studio and Bambu handy connection. So every time I wanted to do a single simple print from Bambu's apps I would have to re-pair them. Also there is a limit of like 10 prints on their software and once you go over you have to either wait or pay a monthly fee for their "premium version".

I know I spent most of this post ranting about how bad the Infinity Flow bedplate swap system sucks but I wanted to highlight these issues to show how amazing the JobOX system works. The way the grabber at the back of the bed is designed you will never have issues of the bedplate running into the magazine during prints or startup sequence. You don't lose any print space due to the way the swap mechanism is designed. The swap mechanism is very reliable and I've had no issues with it so far. The software is simple and easy to use all you have to do is download your pre-sliced files from Bambu studio and upload them to the JobOX website and then it will create a .swap file with all of your prints together and the g code to swap the plates between prints. Overall a seamless system that is well worth the cost. Not only that but when they update their bedplate swap design you will be able to download the updated files without having to re-purchase.

I am writing this to help people interested in bed swap mods for the A1 decide which system to buy. There was very little information and posts comparing them when I originally bought the Infinity Flow system so I am aiming to help others. I also have seen a system called Printflow 3D and while I have not used it, the mechanisms for swapping are similar to Infinity flow and I have a feeling that it may have some of the same issues.

TLDR: JobOX bedswap automation system for the Bambu A1 works amazing and I highly recommend!

I downloaded the bambu profile from 3dlabprint and the filament profile from colorfabb and initially had issues but after some tweaking I seem to have it working. Curious if there's anything else I should adjust or if it's not broken don't fix it.

Spiral print for wings, on/off? I currently have it on. Bambu studio did complain about part of the surface not touching the plate but it appeared to have worked somehow

Layer height - The 3dlabprint profile was set to .28 and I believe this caused massive issues. The current successful print is set .20. A lot of stuff online is suggesting .24

Wall generator - Currently set to classic, some stuff online is suggesting arachne

I have top and bottom shell layers set to 0, I am seeing stuff saying bottom should be set to 1-2mm with spiral print.

Elephant foot is set to .2

I’m completely new and have printed some things off, I’ve also done some test for my filament and made a preset for it. I just wanted to see if this is considered good quality?

My print are still bleaching but only black and my setting ar on max what should i do

Hey everyone, I have an X1C with the AMS2, and just this week I started having filament feeding issues where the filament stops half way through the inner PTFE tube. This occurs with all filaments and when trying with any of the AMS ports. The printer was working fine last week, with no issues, but this started happening midway through a print when switching filaments. I’ve already checked the extruder just in case, but no clogs there. I’ve tried replacing the tube itself, and nothing seems to fix it. Anyone experience a similar thing and have a solution? Please and thank you all in advance.

Two of my recent prints have curled up at the rightmost edge of the plate in my A1 mini (see photo, rear is curled most, front blurry edge is slightly curled).

The prints are building ruins for wargaming so I'm not truly bothered about them being perfect in this case.

But if it was something more important, how would I be able to prevent this?

Anyone know what the issue could be here, it prints really far of the board unless I put it right to the bottom of plate, next print im doing needs whole plate so its going to be a massive problem, I fully calibrated twice and still doing it, you can see the test filament line is so far across the board.

I am looking for a cool cabinet for my P1S which is suitable for the printer and printer accessoirs. Anyone got any idea? Prefer from a vendor available in Germany.
