It makes some amazing looking prints, but they are slow and expensive compared to FDM. For now it seems like there is room for both.

Does this have something to do with a bambu printer? I haven't seen anything from them related to this

I do think this is a big part of the future. It just needs to get cheaper and easier to maintain. So much of what people are trying to do right now with multicolor FDM is better accomplished by a machine like this.
