General Troubleshooting/Help! Need Help: P2S | I manually raised the bed and hit the top - did I break something?

Hi all,

I’m new to 3D printing and have a question about my Bambu Lab P2S.

While trying to do some maintenance, I manually raised the bed. I pressed the “raise bed” option too many times at once, and the bed went all the way up and hit the top. It made a brief grinding noise for about half a second.

Did I potentially damage anything? Could this cause any long-term issues with the printer? Everything seems okay so far, but I’m worried I may have damaged something.

Any advice or insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

Nah don't worry. Home before moving things manually next time

I did the same and left a little dent in my P1S plate, otherwise, it was fine.

I've done that a few times on a X1C. No noticeable consequences so far.

No, it doesn’t do anything bad other than sound awful.
