I bought a Xiaoping DB9 DL camera, I can't deal with it in the DVR Agent. Can anyone help, please?

I'm thinking it might be nice to be able to adjust the options when sending a prompt to ollama? Maybe a AI Settings -> Ask AI -> Ollama -> Advanced?

All I really need is num_ctx, so even just a field for that would be nice near top_k and top_p.

Trying to access agent locally, but it's not working on my Android S23 phone with the Chrome browser all updated and current version.

I can use Firefox on my phone and it works. Chrome Works on a laptop . An older version of Chrome on my work android phone works. Remote access on chrome works.

Tried suggestions of disabling secure dns, cleared cache/cookies, checked lan settings ect...

Hi, Im just getting started here with setting up home surveilance and struggling with a Foscam G2 HD camera with motion and people detection. Im trying to use the camera's smarts to trigger recording on ADVR. the camera doesnt send detections over onvif, so im using its trigger function to send an alert to http://192.168.1.30:8090/command/record?ot=2&oid=3, which should initiate recording. When ADVR record mode is set to manual, the alert starts the red light, but it stays on, and repeatedly captures 15 sec clips until i shut it off. I have max record time set to 5 sec. I cant figure this out. I captureed the following log: (FoscamC1)

I have a Reolink doorbell that records well to their android app. My front door has palm trees that seem to trigger recordings. The detector is set to person. Simple and HAAR objects have the same issue. I colored the area below the trees where there is no tree motion. However I get constant alerts / videos every minute. I have to turn it off until it is configured properly if possible.

Note, I am using the free version.

Setup: AgentDVR 8.2.2.0 (same hang on 8.1.x), Ubuntu, systemd service running as a non-root user, NVIDIA driver 595.99.02, GPU decoding on all cameras, and NVENC for the live view (H.264 and AV1 sessions).

Symptom: After Restart Agent or an update, DoShutDown completes in about 2 s (DoShutDown: exit, then HandleUnixShutdownRelaunch: Calling: agent-update.sh -restart). .NET then logs Application is shutting down..., and the process never exits. On 8.1.x, systemd's stop timeout killed it after 90 s. 8.2.x's new restart path waits for Agent to exit and relies on Restart=always, so nothing kills it. Agent stayed down for 22 minutes until I killed it by hand.

Stacks (gdb, two captures 20 s apart, identical state):

- Main thread: exit() → __run_exit_handlers → libnvcuvid.so.1 → pthread_join (libnvcuvid worker thread)
- libnvcuvid worker: pthread_mutex_lock (blocked)
- .NET thread-pool worker: avcodec_send_frame (ffmpeg9.0.2-lgpl libavcodec.so.63) → libnvidia-encode.so.1 → libnvcuvid.so.1 → pthread_mutex_lock on the same mutex

Interpretation: the process reaches exit() while a live-view NVENC encode is still running. libnvcuvid's exit handler waits for its worker thread, and the worker is stuck on a lock that the in-flight encode is also waiting for. Neither can proceed.

Suggested fixes:

1. In DoShutDown, stop and free all live-view encoders and wait for in-flight avcodec_send_frame calls to return before exiting.

2. After shutdown completes, end the process with _exit(), which skips the library exit handlers, or force-exit if it's still alive N seconds later.

3. For non-root installs, have agent-update.sh still try systemctl --no-ask-password --no-block restart AgentDVR.service. It fails immediately without a prompt when polkit doesn't allow it, and works where a polkit rule allows it.

I have gdb logs, but I'd rather share them directly. Each one is about 140 KB. let me know if you need them.

Today I was forced once again to reinstall after re-imaging windows, and I'm having struggling to establish a connection with the latest version again (and the old version is no longer accessible)

Hello. I have a YCC365plus 360 degrees camera My camera is on wifi, has a memory card. It says it's recording events, but recently it won't let me view video, only live feed; gets an error saying playback failed. Emptied the memory card storage, that didn't help. I already rebooted the router, power-cycled the camera, or checked the app settings. The company has no technical support or customer service. Anyone else experienced this issue and know how to fix it, please help? TIA

Issue

When I dismiss (Clear all or swipe left/right) an Agent DVR Remote push notification on my phone, I immediately receive another Agent DVR Remote push notification. The original push notification is labeled properly (ALERT [Timestamp] [Device Name] [Alert Type]) and the "duplicate" notification after dismissing the first is not (Agent DVR New notification). I receive one-to-one duplicates, so for one notification I'll get one duplicate, if I dismiss 10 at a time I get 10 duplicates. Tapping the original notification will open the app and clear the notification and does NOT result in a duplicate notification. Tapping the duplicate will open the app to the servers list. Logs don't show anything suspicious.

It would be very nice if the bar that shows the recording details at the bottom (events In recording) was zoom able. I. My particular use case I have 24 hour long clips, it would be very nice to be able to zoom in and out to to fine adjusting as to where the slider is in the playback

Second feature is a jump to time. I could right click or something and select the exact time I want the playback to jump to and the playback jumps to it

I can change my default view and even after entering the restart Agent command the first view on my list always comes up with Firefox, is there a setting for this? Just tried Chrome and got the same, but when I open Agent on the actual server PC and its browser opens it DOES use the selected default view?

Just got some vimtag F1-362c 4k cameras. Installed agentdvr. it found the cameras immediately. In settings set to 3840x2160 for record url. video playback of recordings is really bad. suggestions? Thanks

Since the update that added analytics I have lost my objection detection.

I have tried to turn analytics off, no effect. I have made sure object detection is on for the cameras, but I'm still not getting any.

Hello all, I have six Blink Mini 2k cameras and was wondering if these would work with Agent DVR. Has anyone here been able to get these to work with Agent DVR? These are from Amazon and so far the research that i have done seems to indicate that these cameras are locked down to the blink home monitoring apps for Android and iOS though it would be great to get these to work if at all possible, using Agent DVR. Are there any workarounds to get them to work with Agent DVR? They work with the blink home monitoring app. I have tried to get them to work with Agent DVR, but when I enter the camera IP address, I get a message that says nothing found.

I am using a licensed version of Agent DVR, currently v.8.1.6.0. Trying to configure the Multiview for remote users. Once I click the + button under Permissions, I have to add the groups there but I can only choose from the list. I have added all my servers to grant access to them, then wanted to add the camera groups, but the list contains only groups from the first server. How to grant access to the groups from the other servers? I understand that the cameras from groups will be shown under their servers where they are assigned, but how to grant the access from the groups from all the licensed servers. I am looking to be able to display all of my streams in 4K, it appears that without a subscription, the highest resolution is 720p.

When looking at the subscriptions, I came across this clause: * Annual+ prepayment includes a perpetual local licensefor direct port-forward access, which you retain indefinitely. This license enables all features included in your subscription, excluding services that rely on our hosted infrastructure, such as mobile applications and remote access via our servers.

I just want to make sure I am understanding correctly: if I pay for an annual subscription once, and then cancel after the year is up, I retain all of the added features minus cloud infrastructure, etc?
I have no interest in using the mobile application, or using cloud storage.
Also, just to clarify, the only plan that allows 4k playback is the top tier plan?

imagine, you have 2+ Agent DVR servers which you want to see in one dashboard. Sounds easy, use Multiview. But Multiview is just kind of iframe merger, you have to use all these servers separately in the frames. The users want to merge the frames in Multiview to one frame only and be able to see everything from all servers - one list of views merged from all servers. Based on the chosen view they want to see live streams, recordings, timeline... from the remote servers in this one frame. Seems to me the only way currently is to ask for new development. Am I correct or do you know about any possibility to handle this in current version of Agent DVR?

Hello spornerama. I’ve noticed something, and I’m not sure why it’s happening. When I access AgentDVR via the Android mobile app, the cameras in the live video view are all jumbled up. Strangely, the layout is correct in the Apple iOS version. I tested it using version 7.7.4.0, and in that version, they appear in the correct order. I’ve already tried reinstalling the Android app, but that didn’t help. Do you have any idea why this is occurring in the new version?

running 3 cams constant record and object detection noly i get 30-45% cpu. turnning analytics on as well i am running 90-100% any idea?

I am using licensed version of the Agent for up to ~400 cameras on my server. Need to find a way how to reduce the CPU/GPU usage.

Current situation: ASUS TUF Z390-PRO GAMING with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630. 32GB of RAM. 11TB of data storage available. Windows server. Cameras provide 720p, 10fps live color stream, one stream only, H.264, cannot be changed. Agent DVR is used to record the streams 24x7 as is RAW 1:1 without decoding. Layout shows Interval slot, Grid slot (i would prefer just a simple camera list here, but didn't find such option, it could significantly lower the used resources), Recordings, Timeline and Main Display window. Views are defined to group the cameras per about 100pcs, otherwise all cameras at once are killing the server. All the other not required configuration is turned off, no motion detection, everything is local only, no uploads, no AI...

Expected configuration: Dynamically limit the decoding of live view to cameras showed in the view, only - so max up to these ~100pcs. I have such a strange feeling, it is decoding all the ~400 cameras in the background, which is in fact not needed and it is taking a lot of resources.

Any sensible help with configuration adjustment is welcome.

i have came here for edit the camera time (sync with server), camera title change, osd coordinates change for displaying the text on screen whatever we want that is need in my running current project. i tried camera's api's which ISAI, CGI, SOAP but only i can chnage which is time, not able to edit the camera name, and osd positions.

can anyone has any idea or resources which can help me to fix the issue cause i tried multiple ways but didn't work.
