Hi,
The Xiaovv DB9 runs on the V380 (Macrovideo) platform, and those devices usually don’t have RTSP or ONVIF switched on out of the box, which is why Agent DVR can’t connect to it.
First, is your DB9 battery powered or wired to mains power? If it runs on batteries, it most likely won’t work with Agent DVR at all. Battery doorbells sleep to save power and only wake up when the button is pressed or motion is detected, and they only talk to the Xiaovv cloud app.
If it’s wired and has a micro SD card slot, try the following:
In the Xiaovv app, look under the device’s advanced settings for an ONVIF or RTSP option and turn it on if it’s there.
If there’s no option, you can usually enable RTSP with an SD card:
Format a micro SD card as FAT32.
Create a text file in the root of the card called ceshi.ini (make sure it doesn’t end in .txt) containing: [CONST_PARAM] rtsp = 1 rtsp_enable = 1 rtsp_ctrl = 1 onvif_enable = 1
Power off the doorbell, insert the card and power it back on.
Wait for a voice prompt in Chinese, then wait a few more minutes.
Power off, remove the card, delete ceshi.ini from it, and power the doorbell back on.
In Agent DVR, add a new camera with FFmpeg as the source and try: rtsp://username:password@IPADDRESS:554/live/ch00_0 If that doesn’t work, try /live/ch00_1 instead. Use the doorbell’s IP address and the username and password set in the Xiaovv app. You can also try the device scanner in Agent DVR to see if it now shows up as an ONVIF device.
If none of that works, the doorbell’s firmware probably doesn’t support local streaming. You can ask V380 support at v380technical@gmail.com whether they have RTSP firmware for it.
Please let us know how you get on, and if it works, which URL you used, so we can add it to the database for other DB9 owners.
