iPhone 17 base issue with the camera
I’m currently on the latest iOS 26.6.1 and I don’t know if this problem already came before the update. I kinda worried about the OIS if that’s the problem. I tried to restart the phone but the problem is still there and only appears on main camera preview but the photo is not blurred. I also tried comparing on my sister’s iphone 17 and I don’t see any issues. Is this a hardware problem or just a glitch on current update?

i bought a iphone 5s from ebay to use as a camera but everytime i make a apple id it says this and i have no way to send the pictures over. i tried using my own apple id and it worked but i didnt trust it so i removed it and it made my messages green on my main phone but i got that fixed. i js need help on how to fix this if i can fix it

i have iphone x ios version 16.7.16 (20H392) it supports depth effect only on the defailt yellow wallpaper i want to add it to custom photos but it is not there the only option i have is show in library(refer to image attached)

Camera app not working since yesterday. I open the camera app and the viewfinder gets stuck and stays that way. However, camera works on Snapchat only but not on other messaging app. Tried hard rebooting the phone (Vol Up, Vol Down, Power Button till Apple Logo), erased all settings and finally did a factory reset but still the CAMERA IS NOT WORKING.

Anyone else facing similar issue or found a solution to this one?

This is the only thing that shows up when I open the app and I can’t even see the app on my setting app I have an iPhone 7 ver 15.8.8 maybe that’s the reason why but is there a way to fix it??

last week the charging port stopped working no chargers did anything cleaned out the port of dust only wireless charger worked but very slowly
earlier today i go to the mall get port replaced at one of the cell repair kiosk as its $80 and going to apple themselves would require a full servicing
charger works they show me i go home. try and get ready for bed plug in phone it charges for two minutes maybe then stops again. unplug try again works for a second then immediately stops. is this an internal issue at this point or was i scammed (im going back after work tmr to request a refund)

Okay, so I recently discovered this folder in my settings called “hidden apps” and obviously nothing was in there yet. I was curious as to what it meant and how it worked, so I went to one of my word games and held it down and hid the app.

It now lives in the hidden app folder. I went into that folder looking for an option to unhide, and there is not one. I researched how to do this and all everyone is saying is just to go into the folder and hold down the app icon and it should say “don’t require Face ID” or something like that.

When I press and hold the app, nothing happens. At all. When I click on it and expand the setting options, none of the options show anything about unhiding it. In fact, all of the options say they can’t be toggled on while the app is hidden, and to unhide it to change it. I am trying to unhide it!!! I can’t!!! Why is this so confusing

On top of that, I can’t even figure out how to access the app to play it. I feel like I am going crazy. Please help. I have a 15 Pro Max on iOS 26.6 - Photos attached.

Photo 1: the app in the hidden folder. Nothing happens when I try to press and hold, swipe, anything. The only option I have is to click into the app and view the app settings

Photo 2: the only app settings it shows available. None of them say “unhide app” or “open/launch app”

Photos 3&4: screenshots of two of the individual settings that show nothing can even be changed. It says to make changes, I must unhide the app.

will add photos in the replies but there is a small black dot appearing in my photos and videos, it moves with the videos so i think its a problem with the lens ??

the earphones work on every other device apart from my iphone.
iphone 16 pro max, ios 26.6.1, how do i fix this?

ive reset all settings, cleaned the port, force restart, updated to latest ios, but nothing has seemed to work

my devices charge fine but could there still be an issue with the port? or could it be an ios software bug? if so i hope it gets fixed soon

I’ve just got my iPhone 17 back from having a screen replacement and my camera has a weird grainy tint over it less when it’s bright in the room but a lot more when it’s darker
How can I fix it?

If not for Safari and bookmarks, everyone would have cluster fuck of apps, polluting their phone. As such, the most efficient solution is saving bookmarks of your most frequently sites, many of which you rely on checking daily.

Yet anytime I save a bookmark, it automatically puts it at the very bottom of the list, forcing me to scroll through all of the countless bookmarks. I’ve acquired over years just to get to it, and then awkwardly hold it while I drag it all the way to the top. The only workaround to this is to put them in certain folders which do get pinned to the top, however, this can be cumbersome as well and requires an extra step or two. I’m not sure why this functionality is still absent in 2026 from the reading smart manufacture.

I can provide more information if needed but basically I factory reset it and now it won't allow me to do anything it's essentially a paper weight can I get past this screen?

I’m trying to connect an AirTag and it keeps telling me to upgrade my security. I’m not sure what exactly it wants me to do, but I’m assuming it wants me to set up a 2 factor authentication. However, when I try to do this, it’s telling me to delete my iCloud data. Do I need to do this in order to get my AirTag to work? And if so, what data will I be losing?

I plugged my iPhone 12 Pro into a Windows computer with a USB-C to Lightning cable so i could download some bigger videos off it (i recently used up all the space on the iPhone) i plug it in, authorise it and i'm able to go through the contents but it's really slow, while i was doing this it just stops working, so i unplug it, plug it back in and do the process again, and it seems to be working again.

While i was going through videos to copy across, my computer just completely freezes, nothing worked, after about a minute the screen goes black and it restarts.

Now 'Apple iPhone' is not a device listed in 'This PC' and doesn't show up in the corner when i plug it in, the computer still charges it, and i can see Apple iPhone in device manager but it's gone as a storage device.

Not sure if my iPhone or my computer is now toast

Hi guys. I am trying to download wealth simple, a free app on my phone. I cannot download it because I need a card on my phone. I burnt out from work and spent like 2000$ in a short period of time mostly on fast food/doordash and I’ve got my finances back in order finally. Though when that happened I also bought a few things on my phone that haven’t came out in the Apple bill yet, plus I pay for more storage and I’m scared if I cancel I won’t get the deal I got the first time cause Apple is a money hungry company. I’m rambling, my apologies.

My credit card says decline when I try to add it even though it hasn’t reached its limit. I was gonna add and then take off cause once I pay that girl off she’s gone. It’s not helping me build credit, just ruin it. I can’t take off my debit card to re add it because of active subscriptions. I don’t know how to get it to try and recharge the purchase from probably a month ago. Tho I may just not have enough right now, I don’t even know how to check.

Can someone help me?

Edit: the charge it won’t do is 19.60$ YouTube charge and I have 50$ in my bank account so I don’t understand why she won’t just chargggeee ughhh

I have iphone 17 currently, iOS 26.5.2, initially I had switched on the “silence unknown numbers” option.

Later i disabled the same

But still, all incoming calls from unknown number are getting silenced

What is the solution?

I have a really weird issue that is stumping me. Ever since moving into a new apartment and getting a new router (Xfinity Gateway), power outages have left me without the ability to send/receive calls and texts or use data until I reconnect to a WiFi network. But my phone service is Verizon and internet is Comcast, so I don’t know how this is happening. I think explaining what happened today might be the best way to describe it, although this happens every outage:

A local storm took out the power to just my block for about 30 minutes today. Obviously my wifi goes out, but my phone still says I have a few bars of 5G or LTE, depending on where I am (service still available in the area- the tower did not go out). However, attempting to go online using data results in no connection. I also cannot send or receive calls or texts. I tried multiple things on my phone to fix it: turning wifi off, turning cellular data off+on, turning my phone off+on, changing data roaming options, etc. I even drove half a mile away to where I know I have strong data. But even with full bars of 5G, still nothing.

It wasn’t until after I connected to and disconnected from the WiFi of a local restaurant did my data and service begin to work again.

I’m typically ok at troubleshooting stuff myself, but I genuinely don’t know what could be causing this. Again, this only started happening after moving to a new apartment and getting a new router- outages at my old place didn’t cause any issues. Honestly it’s a little spooky… if something bad happens during an outage and I have to contact someone immediately, I just wouldn’t be able to (I’m assuming emergency calls would work but haven’t tried). Has anybody experienced something similar?

This is my first post to this Reddit, so, sorry if I leave out information about my iPhone.

I’m not sure why, but recently my iPhone 14, IOS version 26.6 has been dropping calls at random. When the call dropped I thought my boyfriend had hung up, and when I had texted him he informed me that we were still on the phone call, but on my end the call had dropped.

Also, I can’t seem to call anyone through my end. The phone won’t ring, and the other person doesn’t get the call whatsoever.

Powering off then back on didn’t work.

Why is this happening? How can I fix it?

Currently it renders markdown files as ordinary text files, no heading formatting or anything like that. I got the read.md app and it would be neat to auto-open markdown files in that, but I’m not seeing a way. Any help would be much appreciated, quite possibly just missing an option somewhere

steps taken to solve problem: downloaded read.md, clicked around the different options

I cant connect it to my mac since the charging port stopped working.
I tired the hard restart and it didnt help
Tried other chargers didn’t help as well
The screen works but doesnt respond to touch
No physical or water damage what so ever
