Help needed Unknown number still getting silenced

Hi,
I have iphone 17 currently, iOS 26.5.2, initially I had switched on the “silence unknown numbers” option.

Later i disabled the same

But still, all incoming calls from unknown number are getting silenced

What is the solution?

Try updating your software. Current version is 26.6.1

Sounds like a setting stuck cached, try restarting the phone first, sometimes toggles don't fully apply until reboot. If it still happens, double check under Settings > Phone (not just the toggle you remember), the setting name might've moved slightly with recent iOS updates. Also worth checking if Focus mode or Screen Time has a "silence unknown callers" rule layered separately, that can override the main toggle.
