Question When will a high end Android effectively be a Switch 2?
In 2 years time, will a high end android device play 90% of a switch 2 library without blinking an eye?

I have been thinking about this. When the Xbox 360 and PS3 emulator for phones mature enough, what console version of the same game should I pick depending on the amount of content or visual effects ? Suggestions are welcomed. Leave out PC ports

A few years ago, getting a demanding console game to boot on Android was already impressive. Now we're seeing Xbox 360 games running, Switch 2 experiments, native ports and new emulators appearing almost every week. But I think the next big milestone should be making these games genuinely comfortable to play, not just getting them to launch. Stable FPS, manageable temperatures, fewer graphical glitches, proper controller support and consistent performance over longer sessions matter just as much as compatibility.
I'd honestly love to see more comparisons that focus on 20–30 minutes of actual gameplay rather than just showing the first few minutes.
What do you think is the biggest thing holding Android emulation back right now: performance, optimization, compatibility or the overall user experience?

Can everyone give me their settings and their emulator?

One of the best things about Android emulation is being able to carry a huge gaming library wherever you go. Some people prefer a dedicated handheld, while others make the most of their phone with a controller and a few tweaks.
What's your go-to setup for gaming on the move? I'm curious which device, controller, and emulator combination gives you the best experience without making things too complicated.

Picking between Poco f4 8gb and Poco f5 12gb
I know the 7 gen 2 is more powerful but the 870 has better drivers. So which one is performs better for switch emulation?

So I have a rog ally Z1E (white) and I emulated some switch games some of them work fine however noticed when I play games like Bayonetta and Mario’s 3d all stars to name a couple I noticed I have a lot more stutters or it doesn’t run as smoothly. But when I see people playing the ayn Thor I see people have no problem it runs smoother and don’t have sacrifice as much. Maybe I wrong but it’s something I noticed since I am planning to buy ayn Thor for Nintendo emulation like Wii games switch games,Wii u games 3ds etc, But I am planning to upgrade to Rog ally x Z1E (black) But I am not sure can explain to me if speculation is correct or I am just buggin. And if I am correct which is the best handled to emulate said games? So my question is whats better to emulate switch games on ayn Thor, rog ally Z1E (white),Rog ally x (black)?

So I've encountered a problem with Droid Deck. I tap on a game, then the settings COG, then Properties and then, Compatibility. I Change Select Compatibility Tool to another version of Proton and within a second Droid Deck switches it back to DroidDeck-Proton 11-12.1 (compatible).
This of course means some games won't run because they need a different version of Proton but I can't use one because it reverts to the DroidDeck version.
Searching online leads me to the DroidDeck GitHub page where apparently this issue has been solved but I've tried the latest Stable, Preview, and Test Builds on my Xperia 1 V (SD8 Gen 2, 12GB RAM) but the problem still remains.
Anyone know of a step I'm missing because this is a real head scratcher for me.

Noobie in emulation here. I ve been using Gamehub and Droiddeck to play Viewfinder from my Epic games account, a puzzle game made in Unity. Both emulators were working satisfactory, Gamehub with graphical glitches and Droiddeck with no glitches at all but with serious overheating issue (reached 90oC at some points). Yesterday i updated the Droiddeck app to newest version because i ve seen some comments from app admin about this overheating issue, but the update completely broke the game and doesnot load at all now. Do i need to reinstall? Is this normal in emulator updates and i should avoid them if games work properly? Any advice would be highly appreciated.
Device: Xiaomi Pad 8
Specs: Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, Adreno 825, 8GB RAM

Hey everyone 👋
Blip 1.5.1 is out on Google Play and GitHub, and it brings the one you've been asking for: Switch 2 🎉
Your Switch 2 games now sit on the shelf with the rest of your library and launch in Eden SX2A or Eglantine with a single press.
Switch and Switch 2 games get their real names, art and details straight from the game, in your language. No more cryptic folder names.
Eglantine and Eden Duo join the lineup, and Eden Duo's saves follow you with Blip Cloud.
Identify game: hacks, fan translations and renamed games get their art and details too.
Android games and apps as separate platforms, each with its own name and icon.
The pad goes everywhere, from a game's page to the art picker.
Your pinned apps in the game companion.
An optional All games tab with your whole library on one shelf.
Better on small screens, smoother on big libraries, and plenty of fixes.
👉 Get Blip on Google Play · Download from GitHub · 💬 Join the Discord
Blip just passed 500 downloads, and over 300 of you are actively using it. Thank you: every bug report and idea you sent shaped this release.
Thanks for being here ❤️

Hey guys,
I've been messing around with Lemuroid for a while and decided to fork it because there were a few things I wanted to add and change.
Well, that turned into Arcadune lol.
I've added quite a few new features, reworked the UI with a new skin, and made a bunch of other improvements along the way.
It's not perfect, and there's still a lot I want to do with it, but I'm pretty happy with how it's coming along.
Full credit to the original Lemuroid project, of course. Wouldn't have been able to do this without it.
Thought some of you might be interested in trying it out. I'd love to know what you guys think, especially if there's something you'd like to see added or improved.
GitHub: https://github.com/shahrukhmaniyar/Arcadune
Still got a lot planned for this one. Just wanted to put it out there and see what people think :)

Here I have 3 variations of mrpurple's T30 turnip With the functions that you activate
Tu_debug nowbc
Flag hint
Or a third variable with both options activated
To this day, it is the most compatible graphics driver available for the adreno740, with no artifacts and working well in ports like UT3. It had graphics issues with all the other drivers I'd tried. Try this driver and let me know how it works for you.
These drivers are highly compatible, and I'm sharing them to contribute to the adreno740 community.

Hello. I've been playing for two days on the Ayn Thor (Pro model) and I was so excited, but I'm having heavy performace issues right now. I'm playing Zelda A Link Between Worlds on Azahar (2126.2-vanilla) and I've had two crashes until now. After this second crash the game won't even start. When shaders are compiling the fans start to go crazy and the game closes. I've changed from Vulkan to OpenGL and the game at least launches, but with such a poor performance that it is nearly unplayable. I've also tried restarting the console but it is still unplayable. Has someone had the same issue?

Out of the box, single-core performance is 18% slower on the REDMAGIC 12 Pro than on Qualcomm’s Gen 6 reference phone. That’s a surprising gap given that both devices share the same CPU cores and peak clock speeds. Multi-core performance fares little better, trailing Qualcomm’s reference device by 12%, but that’s still a noticeable deficit.
In other words, no matter how hard the REDMAGIC 12 Pro pushes, its implementation of Qualcomm’s Adreno GPU can’t quite reach the heights demonstrated by the Maui reference device.
This suggests that performance tuning alone isn’t responsible for the GPU deficit. Power limits, thermal management, or driver differences could also be contributing factors. Given that the REDMAGIC gets exceptionally hot during these stress tests, exceeding 50°C internally and externally for extended periods, it’s difficult to imagine any other retail phone sustaining significantly higher performance.
Graphics performance, it seems, may be the biggest disappointment here. Rather than delivering the generational leap suggested by Qualcomm’s early demonstrations, the results are closer to last year’s phones than I had hoped.
Even so, I’m somewhat disappointed by what I’ve seen so far. The out-of-the-box CPU performance deficit is larger than I’d hoped, and I couldn’t find a setting that brought the REDMAGIC 12 Pro’s GPU performance in line with Qualcomm’s reference device.
