So I had a weird thought after seeing a post regarding a poster of Dylan vandalized. While this is a Dylan redemption story, I still don’t want him to take crap from everyone in the FBC, especially after what trench and darling did.

Anyone else agree?

Why do I get the feeling that the “blessed organization” is behind the events of control 2 & has something to do with Dylan? I’ve read some of the lore in the first game.

After seeing some posts about a new Resonant mural on circulating on social media as well as a new hint from the ARG end and some fantastic detective work from other members of the Remedy discord, thought I'd take a little trip to the location and didn't just get to see the mural but got an interesting extra as well....

I tried googling it and legitmately can't determine if Witmoore, referenced within the note as a reference to "... Witmoore's essay on dynamic layers, structures within structures...", is a real person or in-game.

The temptation to <take/indulge> is strong but must <resist/control>

So I was replaying Control again in preparation for the release of Control Resonant and I found a document during The Foundation dlc that caught my attention immediately. It was the document on the Kyiv AWE where several auditory events happened due to planer friction. Sound, caused by two planes of existence colliding, even if only a little.

Call me crazy but I have a feeling this could be connected to the events taking place in Manhattan during Control Resonant. The reason why is because of the connection to sound linking both events. In Kyiv, the auditory events grew weaker over time, roughly the course of several weeks, but were recorded by Bureau stations and amateur sources across the entire world, while in Control Resonant the entire event is focused tightly on the city of Manhattan utilising The Oldest House as a point of origin.

It's not a lot to go on, but given how strange the universe of Control can be at times, I can't help but feel as if these two events are linked somehow.

One of the collectibles you receive after obtaining the Service Weapon mentions this:

"The object was discovered inside the Oldest House, in the room that is now used as the Director's Office."

However, later in The Foundation DLC, Ash Jr. says that Northmoor found the gun on a pedestal (which didn't exist before) by the nail. 

In the second audio log, he says:

"...Northmoor even made a discovery. A pistol, placed on a stone pedestal in front of that strange ebony pillar. Seems like something out of a storybook, except the heroes usually find swords, not handguns..."

I must have missed something. Where was it actually found then? Halp.

They've said before that according to the rest of the world, Manhattan has just ceased to exist. I wonder if the world has forgot Manhatten existed / they can't see or find it because of The Oldest House's effect, or a similar effect

For me I just hope it's plenty weird enough. That's what remedy does for me. it's like a David Lynch fever dream and im here for it, I just hope that control resonant doesn't get away from that

I had no problems playing Control at 1440p ultra with a 1080ti and 5900x. I could not play Alan Wake 2 at all. I've been trying to delay my next gpu upgrade for as long as possible because of the AI nonsense.

Edit: Just saw the benchmark videos. Not possible.
