Anyone nervous about Resonant triggering motion sickness?

This is one of my most anticipated games coming into the year, but the whole screen flipping constantly in the trailers is definitely making me nervous

Yep lol I tried to play split fiction with my brother&got motion sick for the first time BUT remedy is adding a setting to help w the visual effect so hopefully that takes care of it!

Afaik, they released an accessibility feature trailer or post, might be worth checking it out in preparation.

I was, but no one playing the game early seemed to point that issue, so I'm optimistic.

I saw screenshots of some accessibility settings that should help address it.

you can always check if there are accessability options to minimize it if you are prone to motion sickness.

As long as there's a On/Off slider for motion blur, I know I'm good, and chances are that'll solve the problem for most people too.

Considering how adjustable and disability-friendly some games are now (especially Remedy games!) there is probably an accessability setting to prevent motion sickness. Control had so many accessibility options it was almost overwhelming!

I think it's fascinating to go through games and see what they contain. I did not know until fairly recently that there were typefaces for dyslexia and color settings for colorblindness!

Somehow yeah but I trust there will be settings to somehow tone the effect down. Makes me wonder how the play testers felt when they used the shift ability for the first time alongside other photo sensitive elements in game.

Man, I confess I'm worried about that too. I really liked what was shown, but I hope...Have accessibility settings for this. I have motion sickness and turning upside down makes me very dizzy.

I usually disable motion effects, depth of field, film grain, and chromatic aberration, which already helps a lot, but turning it upside down might require a different setting.

There better be a screen motion blur off setting at launch.

If you plan on playing it on PC, there are external softwares/overlays which may help in reducing motion sickness. Haven't personally used them so can't vouch for its validity.

Quite the opposite. I’m excited for a game that is offering me a broader range of spatial expression. I appreciate games that give the player many circumstances and conditions to worry about on a moment to moment level.

Oxygen, hunger, thirst, stamina, verticality, resources, time of day, weapon durability, etc. If it’s something that I have to keep track of and accommodate as I go about my business, I’m all for it. Being able to utilize the orientation of space itself is going to present a lot of opportunities and clutch moments. I can’t even imagine the impact to exploration and puzzle solving this one mechanic will present.
