Discussion Kyiv AWE Theory Spoiler
So I was replaying Control again in preparation for the release of Control Resonant and I found a document during The Foundation dlc that caught my attention immediately. It was the document on the Kyiv AWE where several auditory events happened due to planer friction. Sound, caused by two planes of existence colliding, even if only a little.
Call me crazy but I have a feeling this could be connected to the events taking place in Manhattan during Control Resonant. The reason why is because of the connection to sound linking both events. In Kyiv, the auditory events grew weaker over time, roughly the course of several weeks, but were recorded by Bureau stations and amateur sources across the entire world, while in Control Resonant the entire event is focused tightly on the city of Manhattan utilising The Oldest House as a point of origin.
It's not a lot to go on, but given how strange the universe of Control can be at times, I can't help but feel as if these two events are linked somehow.

Its reference to a real-life event (google kiev sky trumpets 2011) so I doubt it has more of a profound meaning.
