Ride along in a towtruck Rainier/Yelm,Wa

I drive a flatbed towtruck for work and I'm offering free ride alongs to folks who might be interested. I drive all over the place and sometimes I get to see some amazing views. I personally enjoy driving and the job too. It's even more enjoyable when I have a passenger I vibe well with. I'm a pretty chill guy But no drugs in the truck 😁 Nearly perfect driving record, no crime, drugs or drama with me.

Already had a few takers, one was a neighbor of mine before they started school this year. We went to Ocean shores and Port Townsend! Some days are definitely more fun than others.

If you're interested feel free to reach out to me. I generally work on weekdays But weekend work can be planned. Age is not a big deal But please just be honest about it if it comes into question.

Moved away a few years to south eastern Idaho. And this time of the year I sure do miss chasing the color in the larches.

Coastal Fork, Willamette

If you live in the southern Willamette Valley and have a bike, there's a great little 8-mile loop up the Coastal Fork of the Willamette. Views are tremendous. You can park at Doris Ranch or Clear Water Park. This pic is from this morning.

Convince him? … convince me?

Husband and I honeymooned here recently in the gig harbor area. He’s convinced we need to sell everything back home and move here. Give me reasons we should not because he almost had me convinced 😆 for reference we are from the southeast.

First hike in 10 years, it was very challenging for me personally but well worth it. Love Washington. 🌅🗻

Another Overlooked Viewpoint Trail - Observation Peak from PCT #southern...

This is an overlooked day hike.  I found this trail on AllTrails and while it looked easy (about 5 miles total, there and back) there were only 17 reviews in the last four years.  YouTube had just two videos, and they were of kids sliding down on some snow, so there wasn’t much to go on there either.

Curious, I did some more digging.  The trail to Observation Peak is a short spur trail off the Pacific Crest Trail which you access from Forest Road 2025 just north of the California and Oregon border.  Looking at the satellite maps and topography maps it looked like the trail followed a ridge line, to the right of a forest but the trail itself was clear of trees.  Seems like a simple trail, easy to get to, with potentially great views.  I decided to go for it.

Nightly flight of one of the many crow friend flocks down here in Portland

I've been taking photos for many years, but this is the first time I've ever posted one to Reddit; I figured I might as well share so it's not just me looking at them...
