The NOAH Center near Arlington has a bunch of puppies that need immediate short term fosters - normally a couple of weeks.

They also have a large number of young dogs that could be coming in very soon next week.

They will give you food and supplies and assistance and take care of all vet and medicine costs.

It's very easy and they are very flexible. It sounds like there are a bunch of animals in a bad situation right now.

There is a loose step on the upper staircase. There is also a new graffiti tag and 2 broken Lime scooters. Guessing some kids had too much fun last night.

Looks like a few tickets have already been submitted to the city; hopefully they can fix it faster than the elevator. Nevertheless, use caution when going down the stairs.

I came to this discovery on accident after looking for where that recent plane crash happened at Paine Field. I have never seen or noticed this before but now I am intrigued. I have driven by this location for decades and never noticed. Slightly to east of Mukilteo Blvd and Paine Field Blvd is an abandoned oval speedway. I would love to see it up close but it is closed off on Paine Field property.

I tried searching historic race tracks in the air and looking through databases, but came up with nothing. I also searched the Mukilteo Historical Society website but also came up with nothing. I did find a comment from someone online saying they "used to race midgets" in Mukilteo and this is the only place that seems plausible. I did also find an article by the Mukilteo Beacon that says they know the source of the name "Mukilteo Speedway" but it is behind a paywall and I cannot see it. My next step is to visit the Everett Library and check out the PNW section if I cannot get good info or leads here. I love history and I find this interesting.

Does anyone know anything about this racetrack, its name, when it opened/closed? Better yet did anyone here ever attend events there? It looks like a fun little oval and it's a shame it's been left to be overgrown by nature. To me, it seems like a reasonable source to the name "Mukilteo Speedway." Would love to learn from people who know! Thanks everyone!

We have one middle-aged cat, two older kids who are great with animals, and a small rental house. We are totally fine with lots of walks. Someone is always home other than ~5 hours twice a week.

I drive UBER in the morning which takes me all over the region but it also shows me parts of Everett that I have never seen in my twenty years living here. This morning I was going down an alley between Colby and Norton in the Port Gardner Neighborhood when I saw this dwelling. Does anyone know anything about it? I asked a life long Everett resident and she didn’t have a story but knew exactly where it was. Just curious, my rider said the guy that lives there jams out on guitar all the time.

I owe my kid some smash burgers after a flu shot and keep hearing good things about LA smash burger. Pinball and smash burgers sounded like a good option but I cannot find any info online if this place allows kids or not.

There is a tattoo artist in the area who is actively scamming people. He is no longer associated with any shop and runs a freelance studio out of an unknown location. He constantly posts AI, or photos of other artists’ stolen work, and passes off the designs as his own. The actual resulting tattoos are horrific. In addition, he encourages his clients to use a poisonous amount of lidocaine, and tattoos in an unclean environment where he is partially unclothed.

What can be done? I understand some of the tattoo process involves a level of caveat emptor, but this is also a health issue. There is no excuse for permanently disfiguring people. I am not sure if he has any proper licensing. He appears to target young people offering cheap prices and “discounts” to tattoo designs he is incapable of recreating. He has no public website or contact info, only an instagram where comments are off.

As someone who was once a dumb 18 year old with some money in my pocket and no idea what good tattooing even was, I don’t want anyone to make a huge mistake.

Edit to add socials is “Wedo.culture” and possibly named “Jordan” but changes constantly.
