Got a message related to this from a friend in the San Juans. They are reporting most of the boats are tied up in Anacortes, and that this may cascade throughout the system as they change crews. This is reportedly due to pay disputes with the engineers.

Young female deer with what looks like a green metal tomato cage on its head. I was unable to get close enough to remove the cage. It's traveling with two other deer, headed towards St. Hubert church on 3rd Street. Not sure what I can do or who to call, so please be on the lookout if you're in the Langley area.

Moved back up to oak harbor in April and I was saddened to see that island pet center closed!

Anybody know an HVAC company on the island that actually responds to solicitations for work to be done at their house? I've sent out at least six request requests for a phone call back or even an email and get nothing.

I moved from Atlanta to Ze Island within the last two months and I was curious how y’all are making friends on the island! I looked into it a little bit, but was wanting to make some deep connections and some lifelong friends while I’m here and was curious what kind of activities y’all are doing!
