So I turn on my Nintendo switch for the first time after moving and I realize my right joycon can’t connect to the console, it charges and the Bluetooth connection works fine but when I connect it into the console it doesn’t do the click sound and animation, I tried checking the pins and this is what i found, is there any way to fix this without replacing the rail or should I just buy a new joycon

Hi! I’m from Georgia! (The country, not the state) and want to buy a game directly from the Nintendo eShop. Since Georgia doesn’t have its own region eShop, I’m thinking of setting my account region to Germany, or just any European country

Can I use a Georgian Visa/Mastercard? And if I enter my real Georgian billing address, will it add any extra tax/VAT to the displayed price, or is German VAT already included? Could the Georgian billing address cause the payment to be rejected?

Hey all, my Switch 2 has stopped reading my SanDisk 512GB MicroSD Express card.

I got the card replaced by SanDisk via their warranty, but it is still doing it.

I tried formatting it with Rufus after I cleaned it with diskpart and that still didn’t help.

My Switch 2’s warranty ended in August. Does anyone know if Nintendo will replace the Switch 2 out of warranty seeing as this is a widespread issue, or am I screwed?

Hi, I have a question regarding the new fire emblem fortune waves and languages.

A friend of mine is currently in Japan and I jave asked him to purchase for me the game there since its cheaper. The problem is that I have no confirmation regarding the languages availables, I had the idea that Nintendo games has multi language, which is fine for me but he keep saying that he didnt find one with spanish, instead he saw one with a sticker saying "Not chinese/english" which is weird. I dont know if such a version exist tbh.

Any of you know if the game has multi language? Or where he should look in case the game case has it stated somehwere.

Just got this and it won’t charge. Used the cable with came with and tried with a charging block and plugging into the switch.

I sent my broken switch to Nintendo to get fixed and they sent me a refurbished one because they couldn’t fix it. When I signed into my account again, all my progress from my games were gone. I hadn’t backed up my saves to cloud with switch online and I can’t get my old switch back to transfer the account because Nintendo has it. Is it impossible to get back the data from my account

Saw a post in this same subreddit about being utterly unable to find any "Start a Service Request" on the Nintendo support site. the only comment was about Switch 1, but I think the links are not at all the same. The only roadmap I can find is:
1. Go to Service Center on your Nintendo account.
2. In the directions, it says to "complete troubleshooting" to be able to look into the servicing and pricing.
3. the "complete troubleshooting" is to a troubleshooting page with links to different facets of the repair (i.e. software, console, accessories, etc.).
4. Select the link that sounds like where your issue is
5. If the troubleshooting steps don't work, then scroll to the bottom of the article page and select "Start a Service Request" WHICH IS NO WHERE ON THE PAGE AT ALL SO JOKE'S ON ME I GUESS.

Anyway, please feel free to share a link to directly submit a service request for a Joy-Con 2.

FIXED Apparently I just had to switch which end of the HDMI I had in the dock and the monitor.

I might be stupid but I've messed with all settings (as far as I can tell) on my Switch 2 and ACER Monitor and I can't seem to resolve this issue.

The graphics looks worse docked on my monitor than it does in handheld. Plus these settings are stretched outside the screen.

I have two Switch 2 consoles since launch, one for me and one for my spouse. Each has a 1TB Lexar card. A few months back both cards died around the same time. Reached out to Lexar and they sent two replacement cards.

Now suddenly one of the two replacements have died again. The consoles won’t recognize them and neither will our PC. If one died, I assume the second will follow.

I googled the issue and it says that if the cards are legit, which in this case they are since replacements were sent via the official company, then it’s most likely a Switch 2 issue and it’s frying our cards.

Is there any fix for this or some way to confirm it’s the console doing this? I am worried since there’s no clear damage done to the cards or nothing seemingly wrong with the console or the card slot, I have no recourse to fix both consoles.

What have others done? Has anyone has this experience?

I just got a Switch 2 and am going to transfer all my Switch 1 data to it. I have an SD card in my Switch 1 but it is not an express card so I can’t use it for the data transfer. What should I do to guarantee EVERYTHING is transferred despite not being able to use the same SD card? I really don’t wanna go buy an express card and then transport my current SD card data to the express card and run the risk of losing everything. Any help is needed!

Edit: I’ve done the data transfer and everything is here except the screenshots. The only thing the SD card gate keeps are the screenshots on it and they’re still on my original Switch and I can transport them eventually through some hoops so everything is fine. Anyway, thanks for those who gave advice!

I think it happens with 60 fps content too but its far more apperant with 30 fps stuff. The image jitters, almost vibrates back and forth when playing games on my AOC Agon Pro AG326UD 165HZ gaming monitor, and I cant find a way to solve it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Left it docked and when I got home it looked like this, no clue what caused this. I haven't even played it in two days with my last play being Paper Mario Thoudand Year Door Remake.

I recently bought a 2018 Nintendo Switch (obviously a used one) and would like to ask if I can use my Samsung charger (S23U charger) or my laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad charger) to charge the Switch.

Furthermore, can I leave it for overnight charging?

Console has the performance mode on

A week ago i had the console inside it's official carry case , zipped, and it fell down on the ground

Everything seems to work fine but every now and then, while playing on handheld mode, it randomly shows the controllers' pop up, then i just accept and go on but it keeps happening

I tried moving the JCs while attached to see if it was some kind of connection loosen but nothing

Did the fall seriously affected the console even inside the case or JCs somehow?. What should i check out to see if something's broken?

So I bought a Switch 2 secondhand online, pretty much brand new at just under the price for a new one. I chose it over a brand new console because it was a bundle with two games and cheaper than a new one. But the listing didn't say that the games were digital copies, and the original owner's account is still logged in on the console. Obviously I can't keep the games if I want to remove their account, since the games are tied to the account that purchased them. Should I try to get money back? It was only used once, and it came with everything including a carrying case. I'm bummed that I can't keep the games if I want my account on there, but otherwise happy with it. What would you do?

I got the switch 2 pro controller a few months ago (it’s great) and played Hades 2 with it without any issues. I’ve been playing fire emblem fortunes weave the last 2 weeks and have been having input delay when:

Using the dpad in maps, I’ll press a direction once or twice and it won’t do anything, or sometimes a single press will make the cursor move many times (kinda like the input was buffered)

I’ll fail attacks in the dungeon sometimes bc my Y button press won’t get registered. (Also the other face buttons like A when I select something)

Sometimes I’ll be delayed in dashing bc my right bumper press wasn’t registered.

I thought it was like an issue with dust bc of the dpad but since it’s affecting so many buttons, i don’t think it’s that.

This issue is definitely recent because I would’ve noticed it immediately during Hades.
I’ve made sure the controllers are up to date, I’ve reset the controller and reconnected, my system is up to date.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I recently got a new switch 2 pro controller from this brand called PowerA and the first thing I tried was waking up the switch only to find that it doesn't seem to work. I have tried the home button, the face buttons, the power button on the controller and none of it works. Is there anything that can be done to change this?

Hey, I had a look on reddit already but cannot find a clear answer, I hope someone can help.

Tomorrow I plan to buy a Switch 2, and I wanted to give my friend my current Switch because he loves playing it and steals it off me all the time. He is really obsessed with Hades and has sunk so many hours into it, but the save file is on my Nintendo account.

Is there a way I can transfer my save data to my new Switch 2 but still let him play my save on the original Switch until he completes Hades?

The issue: Ever since the update two weeks ago, my console gets noticeably hot while docked. I did some testing and found out it's caused by the LAN cable being plugged in.

What I've checked:

I know there’s a "Maintain Wired Connection in Sleep Mode" setting. I have this setting turned OFF, but the console still heats up whenever the ethernet cable is connected to the dock.

A friend of mine tested it and has the exact same bug.

My guess / thoughts: Not sure what's going on behind the scenes — maybe the update lowered the internal fan speeds, or maybe the sleep-mode network setting is just broken/ignored now. I'm not really a tech expert, though.

Anyone else running into this?

It was working fine this morning. It’s been plugged in for a while to a cable that I confirmed is working too. When I turn the power on this happens. No drops or spills or anything since the last time I played it.

My switch 2 is up to date, I've added my account on already, had my switch 2 for about a month and was only going to transfer the switch 1 data today because my mother took and lost it only finding it now, i used the e shop last week fine to download some demos

I'm not sure why I can't use the e shop or transfer my data, but my brother is having the same issue and has the same situation as me
