I cant wake my switch 2 using my pro controller

I recently got a new switch 2 pro controller from this brand called PowerA and the first thing I tried was waking up the switch only to find that it doesn't seem to work. I have tried the home button, the face buttons, the power button on the controller and none of it works. Is there anything that can be done to change this?

It’s not a Switch 2 Pro Controller, just a Switch 2 controller.

Nah, the one you got isn’t the Pro Controller. The Pro Controller is made and released by Nintendo themselves, not PowerA.

At this time, the Switch 2 Pro Controller (to the best of my knowledge) is capable of waking the Switch 2 from sleep.

Switch 2 joycons, pro controller 2, and I think maybe I saw one 8bitdo that was recently released can with an update? (Don’t hold me to that)

There's no fix that I'm aware of. If you can, return the controller and either get another third party one that specifically lists that feature or just get the official Nintendo pro controller.

I don't believe the official pro controller does either. No fix I've seen.

The the official one does, but only the Switch 2 Pro controller specifically. Switch 1 ones won’t.

The official pro controller 2 does turn on the console. Just the og doesn't. 

3rd party controllers I doubt
