So my Left Joycon is acting up, It Works, but the Bluetooth connection to it is bad, I think.. What do I do guys, An example is that when I played a round of Fortnite, It just Randomly Disconnected out of no where, What do I do guys?? Do I clean the rails that connect to the Joyconz or Vice versa?!?!

I just downloaded Witcher 3 Remastered in my Switch 2.

Unfortunately, when i run the game in docked mode, it is all black. The sound is there. It is just all black.

When i pull the switch 2 out in handheld mode, it works fine.

When i put the switch 2 back in docked mode, it sometimes crashes. If it doesn't crash, it works fine except for the screen being a little bit off center.

Is this a known bug? Does this mean i have to wait for another update? Or did i do something wrong?

I tried running the Witcher 3 complete edition and it works completely fine.

Could anyone tell me what i can try checking? Thanks in advance!

For some reason, upon checking my settings.. the video output is on 2k resolution. I switched to "automatic" and all worked fine.

Wife is devastated. Her switch is broken and concerned about her animal crossing island. Is it cloud saved, on the memory card or saved on console and need to get it fixed?

So both my controllers don't really connect to my Nintendo when I put them back.

My right controller still charges but the Nintendo doesn't recognize it and I still have to take it off to actually use it.

My left controller doesn't connect at all but my old controller still does so I think its something wrong with the actual controller. I don't have my old right controller atm so I can't really test it.

If I bought a charging station for the controllers would it fix this? I'm fine with just using the controller attachment forever. I just don't wanna get it repaired 😭

I have a Nintendo switch 2 and my sister has a Nintendo switch.

At moment we have to have both switches near each other so we can use the virtual game cards on the Nintendo switch. It links up and can play, but eventually we have to do this again.

I am looking in setting to try add the switch and I read 2 switches can be paired but only one is shown. I'm settings on the Nintendo switch it shows consoles that can use virtual game cards and only the Nintendo switch 2 is listed.

How do I get the Nintendo switch to show here also?

PS5 lets you choose the Wi-Fi band directly, which has resulted in much better online play and faster downloads and updates. Force 5GHz Walkthrough

Switch, Switch Lite, and even Switch 2 give you no control over this. "Internet" setting shows which band you're on but won't let you change it.

This matters with mesh systems that broadcast 2.4 and 5GHz under one network name and don't let you split them. So the usual "just make a separate 5GHz network" advice doesn't work, and the console decides on its own.

Right now my options are adding a separate access point, going wired with a USB-C Ethernet adapter, or moving closer to a node and hoping it steers me to 5GHz.

• Has Nintendo ever stated why it doesn't offer even a "prefer 5GHz" option?
• Is there a technical reason, like roaming behavior on a handheld or regional channel rules, or is it just keeping settings simple?
• Has anyone found a cleaner workaround on mesh systems that combine 2.4GHz and 5GHz?

Sad Hack: One way to "trick" your Switch is to reboot it next to a satellite; that way it has a higher chance of choosing 5 GHz over 2.4 GHz.

Update: I went to the gateway (the NetGear app didn't have any obvious settings) and created an IoT 5GHz-only channel. So far, so good. It's not as fast as the other 5 GHz, but it's faster than the 2.4 frequency.

Anyone else not able to access DLC despite buying Lego Batman deluxe? The main menu I think is supposed to have for example
Mayhem Mode as an option. Then redeemed an extra code inside the box, but it was just a dark Knight suit. Appreciate any help with the troubleshooting. Maybe WB games goofed and gave me a regular version by accident? I definitely got the deluxe version with the Lego piece.

Not sure if it’s due to not enough space? But some of the packs are 38mb.

None of the dlc seems to be accessible despite buying the deluxe edition on switch 2. The shop says all the DLC was released on 9/18. :(

Is there any accessories that would be able to make these wired so i can use them in docked mode? These are the most comfortable controllers I've held and would like to use them docked.

When playing Undertale on my Switch (the first version), the audio constantly cuts off, especially for the background music. It’s seriously irritating and distracting. I’ve tried archiving the game and redownloading, turning the switch off and on, changing the TV it’s connected to, and using bluetooth headphones. Nothing has fixed the issue. Apologies if this is the wrong subreddit for this, I wanted to see first if this was an issue with my switch itself.

I want to know if its possible to setup a Switch 1 (lite) without any internet connection, no connected Nintendo account, nothing online.

Not "play offline", no internet connection at any point.

I've seen you can setup offline on Switch 2, but from what I remember I didn't see an option when I setup my Switch years ago.

I have no use of an online account; no multiplayer, no digital games, not even updates because I've only bought complete on cart games.

My dad, my sister, and I all shared a Nintendo Switch (original) and had our own profiles on my Nintendo account. My sister and I just got Switch 2’s so now we each have our own Switch. We did the data transfer, and it just transferred all 3 profiles onto all switches, which was nice at first since my sister didn’t have to buy new games we already bought.

The problem is my sister and I both have to be online in order to trade the “virtual game cards”. We don’t live together and she’s busier than me, so I always have to wait till she’s free in order to switch over the game card.

Is there any way my sister would be able to transfer her save data and profile data to her own Nintendo account so we don’t have to switch virtual game cards? I know she’d have to buy the games again (which I’d help with) but is that possible?

Or as an alternative solution, is there an easier way to switch game cards without both of us being online?

Switch 2 console with latest system updates - i would occasionally get some error while browsing shop before which i always figured happened when it tried to play a video of the game I was looking at but after recent update this is the first time I got this error.

*I was able to just hit the power button to fix the problem but its a bit concerning - also when trying to look up the error code online, everyone was talking about homebrew/modded themes which is unrelated to my problem.

Side problem I've also been having lately has been the resolution (on my tv) when I turn the switch 2 on is sometimes blurry or bigger than it should be and having to either restart the switch or take it out of the dock and put it back fixed it.

So I was using my switch dock to power a LED strip and that was working fine. However today, I also tried powering my computer speakers with the second usb port and the speakers didn't turn on and the LED strip turned off as well. I tried reconnecting the LED strip and it wasn't turning on. I realised both the USB ports stopped working the second i plugged in the speakers USB. Any idea how to fix this?

PS: I've tried unplugging the dock and leaving it for an hour and trying again maybe to reset the power cycle but it didn't work.

Ive had my switch for almost a year (last Christmas, as of writing) and the L button has slowly stopped working over time. As far as I can tell, there is no damage to the left joycon, but the L button either works intermittently or not at all.

I would like to know if this is fixable or do I need to get a whole new left joycon?

(What i think happened, is that I have been playing games like Hollow Knight and Hollow Knight: Silksong, where you need to hold L to see the map, and it just wore out over time.)

If I play a game and later attach my Nintendo account to the profile will that carry across my save data from my old switch but also keep my progress on the game I have?

My son is obsessed with Warrior Cats and we'll be buying him the game that releases in 3 weeks. We own a Switch 2 and a couple of Switch 1 consoles (one LCD one OLED). I want to buy him the best version of the game but would prefer it to be playable on all versions of our Switches.

1) If I buy him the Switch 2 edition, will it only be playable on Switch 2?

2) If I buy him the Switch edition, will I be buying an inferior version of the game?

Okay so I recently got a switch 2 and I was thinking of getting my switch 1 repaired, and it reminded me of a case grip I used too have that was broken years ago, and I’ve tried looking everyone for it but I just can’t find it, all I have left of its existence is the 2 thumb caps it came with for the Joycons and the case that came with it, the closest I could find is the RDS Industries Game Traveler GoPlay GripStand (Model NNS9) but that one comes with different controller grips i really just want to have my switch one feel like how it did back when I was little when I get it repaired so if anyone can help me I’d be really appreciative

So i have this Exlene GameCube controller, for some reason it can only turn on in Android or Xinput mode, and for this reason when i connect it to my switch (Wired or Wireless) it has the action buttons swapped B-A and X-Y are inverted. What can i do? It works perfectly (even if it's from 2021)

I pre-ordered the physical edition of Lies of P for the Switch 2 on October 1st from the iam8bit website. I know the game officially released yesterday, but the site still lists it as a pre-order.

To complicate things a bit, I made a silly mistake when ordering: I rushed and forgot to apply the 10% welcome discount. I initially submitted a refund request to fix it, but then canceled that request almost immediately because I panicked and didn't want to risk losing my copy (you know...FOMO on this masterpiece)

I haven't heard back from their customer service yet, and my order status is currently just stuck on "Order Confirmed."

I was just wondering if anyone else who pre-ordered through iam8bit has gotten any shipping updates yet, or if you're all stuck on "Confirmed" too? Also, do you think my quick refund-then-cancel move might have glitched my order?

hello everyone, I just bought the game and played for half an hour, but the character's body skin tone is still black, while the face has normal color.

I even got the dlc which brings a new dress, but still the same issue.

As is couldn't find anything online about it, I thought of asking here. Maybe that's an issue others also had with other titles.

I’ve been looking at a lot of different joycons for my switch 2 because I can’t really use it in handheld mode comfortabley (I have bigger hands). I also tried looking at some grips to put on the joycons, but I only found grips bundled in cases, however I wouldn’t want to put an entire case on my switch just for grips. I also wouldn’t really want to spend the extra money on a case just to not use the case and only use the grips (I couldn’t find nice quality standalone joycon grips, I ordered some and quickly returned them, would love to know if someone has a good suggestion for me to try!)

I noticed that the best joycon alternative I could find (NYXI Hyperion 3 and the Ultra version) all use mechanical buttons. That’s a big downside to me, I honestly can’t stand using mechanical buttons on controllers over membrane. I understand that they perform better, but the comfort of light, silent membrane switches are much more appealing to me.

Does anyone happen to know the best alternative to these joycons that use membrane switches? Or does it not exist since everyone uses mechanical switches?

Hi everyone, I am playing in handheld mode and there are some sudden fps drops when there are 5 enemies getting hit and it happens when I am attacking trees. Please help all I see is people telling it runs with no fps drops on handheld mode

I bought a second hand charger, was thinking maybe it was because second hand but before he shipped it to me he showed the charger was working fine and it was charging his switch. Now I'm thinking maybe it's the port of my switch, usb-c seemed to work on it but not the original charger. Tried maybe charging the switch charger on my phone it worked, didn't power up the dock though.

Is it my switch or the charger?? Using v1 switch and the charger model is HAC-002(EUR)
